you have an nice roadmap but something is still a bit too late or is in your plans, that is free coin/rain chat. the sportsbook will definitely attract more users as the majority of gamblers are sports bettors, good luck with your planning going forward.
Good roadmap yes, but it should be followed up by good work as well. Hope the mintdice team can work for it effectively, efficiently, and professionally to make the roadmap come true on time. Sportsbook alone is not a guarantee that it will attract more users because there are many sportsbook out there. Being competitive is the key to attract more users. It can be competitive odds, competitive offers, and other things. Without being competitive, sportsbook will bring nothing.
That's true there are some new gambling sites that competes with reputable gambling sites and sports book will not guarantee that and promotion not with a proper advertisement and execution of what they have on the roadmap. Adding NFT and Web 3.0 would possibly a good thing too not only it is easier for some users but you would be able to support a lot of coins already not just BTC, ETH, USDT and other major cryptocurrency.
ya.ya.yo!
Web3 would be nice in theory because it would fit in with our main goal which is to provide the fairest solution possible to the end consumer. Provably Fair technology is one thing, but allowing control of assets as well to the end user simultaneously would be getting close to the holy grail of gambling.
All of that is easier said than done. And similar to many other aspects of the website, they will all magnify in use based on the underlying technology. Specifically, if we are able to develop all of the games and then add in web3, the web3 component will be more useful and powerful once it does launch
The ETA on that would be years off though, so I wouldn't get too excited on that for the time being.
As long they are operational and there are people who do stay and play with the site then thats already a solid proof or evidence that they are doing well despite of lacking with some marketing.
Each business does need to allocate certain budget for that but not all would really be capable in doing so due to limited funds and they would rather be spending those funds in other aspects
like ex. enhancing the site more in terms or changes and fixes rather than on exposure.
Who would be the one who doesnt like to make out some exposure but if your budget doesnt permits you then you would really be just on that line.
I agree, and they are operational and have been for a while. However, if you are a proper casino then the logical thing would be whatever cent you have should go towards marketing. This place deals with investors of course, which means that the returns are even smaller most probably but the risk is less as well.
I do hope that they could make some profit, like even if they deal with 0.1 bitcoin per day marketing that could grow them. When they reach to a super high place where they make like 1 btc per day profit, they could reconsider improving the website. Right now even 10$ should go to marketing and keeping the place going.
Marketing isn't useless, it's just personally to us, if we had a total budget of say $100 to work with, we'd rather allocate the majority, if not all, of that $100 towards making MintDice a better website than spending say $50 towards making it a better website and $50 towards marketing. At least presently.
Marketing does have it's purposes though. If one has an extremely good website but no one is aware that it exists, then that's not the best scenario. That said, we hope that as development progresses, the website can do a lot of the speaking for itself and will gain more efficient exposure from the marketing that does take place on MintDice's side.
