Hello, new member/user here

... On first usage, it is absolutely commendable that two forms of accounts are available: Anonymous and Full account; and an embedded BTC faucet to earn Sats to kick-start your mintdice journey.

Though I'm not much of a gambling/casino person, I gotta say I do enjoy playing the Dice game as I think it is fair. (well, it takes strategy and a large dose of luck though, but I think it's awesome either way).

Something I noticed (a bug, maybe) is that for people playing on phones, if one's phone is kept in portrait mode, on going back to the MintDice homepage to try out other games, it keeps returning/loading the dice game only. If I rotate my phone screen to landscape and set my mobile browser to desktop view, other games show up & run.

Anyway, a good site no less; and lest I forget, the UI is awesome! I've copied and saved my MintDice Secret URL, might be here for a long while.

I know development is something daunting and requires an immense talent for building such a thing, however I would like to ask one thing ; what the hell are you guys doing with the improvement that takes a year Cheesy

All jokes obviously, I am sure developers are working tirelessly to bring the best outcome for us and since it is a casino and every single line of code matters at a level where you could lose hundreds even thousands of bitcoin if there is a loophole so the security and troubleshooting has to be 100% and can't even be 99.99% in this type of space, so it is obvious that they are taking their time to making sure there is nothing wrong.

However for us who have been waiting for a year, could you at least snap some pictures of the new version (like 100 of them lol) and share here? Even if we do not have v2 yet, we could at least have some pics Cheesy

. I have seen few from few months ago but anything new would be awesome.

The fee situation is a really big concern for me personally and I think alt coins are the best/easiest solution for the short term. Unfortunately, as has been the problem for quite some time, all of our development talent has been doing nothing but getting 2.0 ready for over a year consecutively now which has put many much needed quality of life upgrades, like altcoins, on hold.

Major altcoin acceptance will be one of the higher priority tasks once 2.0, the rewards program and sportsbook are all live.

Yeah I agree, more coins will be a great addition, that is the thing about suggesting something to mintdice right now, we can't really prioritize anything over update so there is nothing we can say that could happen at anytime soon (unless they were working on it as a part of the update) which is why I am just waiting and I will give my feedback after the update.

They probably realized the fee situation long time ago as well, I don't know what their situation is like user numbers and if they are getting more profits and users or not, those are data that only owner can know but I feel like they are 100% aware that if they could finish the product finally, they could do a huge promotion and have like 10x more gambling right away, so I am sure they are doing their best as well.

they really have friendly approach to users. and they make sure to address each issue of their player. seems that they are keeping their mantra of "leave no stone unturned". but i guess, it is time also for them to add other alts like doge or xrp as a start.

I have been experimenting the site with the faucet satoshis for a couple of days. Games were enjoying thanks to smooth graphics and sounds. But i have to say that mobile experience was terrible except the Dice.

Simplicity of Dice was really addicting, i think impatient players should avoid betting higher proportions of their balances since i was tempted to put high bets with high chances of winning which eventually bored me and led me to take stupid risks.

Bit.Rocket game was a real fun for me but i had to wait for the rounds which could be annoying for some users.

I could not understand the dynamics of slots may be beacuse i am a newbie on slot games or may be it was confusing to know which combination resulted in which prize.

And many gambling sites have features like recognizing users only with designated browser links, which eliminates the login procedures. This feature and lowering withdrawal limits would make mintdice more convenient for me.

Yep, that's just an example card. Everything will be in English. It's going to offer a lot of rewards between free BTC, skins (trade-ability will come later on) and many on-site perks that will have to do with increased web experience for power users. One user mentioned the affiliate program, one of the many things offered is the more experienced users will get improved affiliate bonuses as they play.

Nice, I can't remember the last time I played in your platform, but I was hooked on your slots early. And I understand that a comply software overhaul thanks time, besides development, you also have to involved a lot of testing to weed out bugs, so kudos to you.

It is a fairly gigantic task at this point in time. It is a complete software conversion, a complete layout overhaul to every single page to get them more integrated. It will also fix a lot of bugs and add in a lot of random various quality of life features. It's been worked on by multiple people for over a year now so at the very least I can say that a lot has been done.

One of those very features I mentioned was the rewards program. The image below is just a stock / example image and is simply for presentation. The actual words, content and the rest will be changed, altered and upgraded.

The rewards program is retroactive, so any game play that users have done they can go back to MintDice and claim for free once it is live.

We have talked about the timing of the V2 recently and like we assumed (which they agreed I believe) the majority of the job is done by the looks of it but the small fixes takes longer. The 80-20 rule applies on development as well, 80% of the job is done in 20% of the time and the last 20% of the job is done in 80% of the time.

So, as you might imagine it is quite understandable that they are almost ready, but they are trying to perfect it. Could they release it tomorrow with bunch of bugs and glitches and problems? I am 100% sure they can, but they are probably just trying to make sure it has no problems at all so once when they update, they are not going to have any issues at all, and making a code that perfect takes insane amount of time when you work on such a big task.
