my drivers crash as soon as it says connected. if i try again then everything freezes and i have to hard shut down PC.

tried -I 19 and same issue

add a pause on the next line and it should work or at least pause so you can see the problem

still same issue, after connecting it crashes drivers, i am using latest official drivers, stock bios on card.

you wrote great miner! thank you for your work! Now amd is as good as nvidia!

But can you please optimize the power consumption? I have rx480s. they are drawing 120 - 170 watt per card, what is much more then power consumption in claymore dual miner in dual mode where I have 90 -110 watts per card!

Can you also test the power and gpu/memory clocking options on amd blockchain driver beta? It wont wort on mys system at all! The vvdc option I did not tested yet!

If you can optimize the code in this direction, that would be the greatest miner in this algo!

Not a virus..... almost all miners show up as a virus... pretty much anything with a .bat or .cmd file in it..does....

Ive had the miner freeze up my system a couple times, any command to close the miner upon a system freeze? remotely.

"The application is unable to start correctly" dialog box appears on start. It's Win 7 SP1 x64, on Windows 10 it works. Have VS2015, 2013, 2012, 2008 x64 i x32 runtimes installed.

Edit: It turned out I didn't had C++ redistributable 2013 x86 installed. After I installed it, it started working. Thanks Microsoft for this DLL hell ...

I am running a Vega56 and a Fury. Fury crashes with --asm and doesn't get anywhere near listed hashrate without it, about 34 MH.

Update on my performance in 3.0.0:

I have a Gigabyte RX580 Gaming 4Gb and a Reference Vega 64.

Cards are both on stock bios with only Wattman tweaks.

HWiNFO64 reports Vega's Chip Power @ 175 watts, and RX580's Chip Power at 127 watts.

This Vega 64 has previously been water-cooled and was pulling 67MH on its own, with a +50% PL, drawing ~330 watts Chip Power, so this is significantly more efficient, even though it's on air.

Overclocking the Vega 64 does nothing for the performance, clock rates don't change, likely because the PL is -20%. It does help with RX580, but anything over 10% on my card is not stable long term. I've changed State 2 to max for memory on Vega, reducing the memory clock to 500MHz (default is 800). This gave an increase of 0.8MH (it used to sit at 52MH on the dot after same time period). However, setting lower max memory states on the RX580 seems to negatively impact performance, even when setting max memory state to 1,000MHz, the clock rate won't hold stable @ 1,260MHz anymore, and drops to 990MHz.

Would love to hear other people's experiences/settings for the same/similar cards if I can improve MH in any way.

Hi,

I was wondering about the --vddc option. I cannot seem to get it working. The reason I am asking is I have a 6x580 8 gb rig and it has a 1200w PSU. When I run the program it pushes my power consumption to 1300w and over. After a while the PSU cannot handle it anymore and the rig shuts down.

I love this miner and would love to use it Cool

Can you assist me please? It overrides my Afterburner settings as I have tried to limit it that way as well.

Update: version 3.0.0 seem to be working fine and I haven't received any reports about problems with third party TCP pools after release.

So I'm upgrading it's status to "Production": ready for large-scale deployment.

I'll be closely monitoring in case of any problems while working on LINUX port.
