Breaking news!
PFL just announced that Francis Ngannou first MMA fight after signing new contract will be against winner of Renan Ferreira vs Ryan Bader.
I think Ngannou wins fight against any of this guys, but this weekend will be good chance for us to see who is better.
Ferreira is a slight favorite and he is younger, but Bader has more experience and I think he is better on ground.

I'm not following PFL at all but might start if Ngnnou actually returns to MMA.
Ferreira has just beaten Ryan Bader within 30 seconds of the first round, he put him down with the first punch. I haven't seen any of his previous fights but that was impressive.
As for Ngannou, I wonder if there's an actual date set yet, or is his return contingent on the outcome of his fight against Anthony Joshua.
I imagine he will prioritise his boxing career and do MMA only when there's no profitable boxing bout available. Should he defeat AJ, he'll probably be looking to fight a rematch with Fury, but if Fury wins, I'm not sure if Francis will be allowed to fight for all those belts (assuming Fury defeats Usyk) after only having 2 boxing fights in his resume.

This is going to be very interesting week of MMA and we have first PFL vs Bellator Champs in Saturday!
I love watching heavyweight fights and Ryan Bader vs Renan Ferreira should be a great fight.
Ferreira has big reach advantage and he is six years younger than Bader, and his only recent loss is against Ante Delija in 2022.
In same category Nemkov is fighting against Bruno Cappelozza, and he was better than Jirí Prochazka in 2015 and Bader in 2020.
With Thiago Santos vs Yoel Romero and all other fights, this whole fight card is a must watch.

Btw, I just watched the replay of ONE FC's latest event.  It was in Muai Thai but omfg...  It was a banger!  I think it was scheduled for 5 but it lasted just until the third and man it was mayhem from start to finish.  I highly recommend that you guys watch it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ICnd-aRsy9M&pp=ygUGb25lIGZj

Just skip the preliminary matches and go straight to the main event.  Just wow.  Pretty sure you guys will like it.

I wonder what book offers lines for ONE FC at every event.  I've seen FJ have it and Rollbit but not always.

After that ONE Championship event, the ONE 165 was really a great event if you are a fan of Superlek Kiatmoo9 or even his Japanese opponent Takeru Segawa, and the aftermath of that fight was really something and for sure Takeru Segawa will not forget what has happened to him that day because of what Superlek Kiatmoo9 have done to him, those injuries that Superlek Kiatmoo9 have given to the Japanese fighter, here is the image,

Those Injuries Takeru Sagawa had while fighting Superlek Kiatmoo9 were surely something that he also didn't expect him to be like, those kicks and what happened to Takeru Sagawa's legs it was full of Bruisses, and he said that his legs were killing him and after he takes off his jacket because he will take a bath then he then notice that he has a muscle tear on one of his upper arm, for sure that will gave him trouble, for sure Superlek Kiatmoo9 is on another level,

I have just watched the replay and it was really brutal all that have paid and watched the fight surely gave the audience a great experience with this kind of fight Superlek Kiatmoo9's kicks were really explosive you could surely hear the power when they hit Takeru's legs, it was brutal and after that fight the aftermath of the fight Takeru's Leg was brutally bruises, you can clearly see the legs of Takeru Sagawa's damage to his legs, while Takeru Sagawa inside the ring he have shown his boxing prowess he hit Superlek Kiatmoo9 several times that end up with Kiatmoo9 getting groggy with it, but still in the decision Superlek Kiatmoo9 still won the fight that brutal kicks and correct timing with his evade and push was the one that saves him from the brutal punches of Takeru Sagawa,

WOW! It has been a long time since I haven't seen Corey Anderson after his loss to Jan Błachowicz in the event back since UFC Fight Night: Anderson vs. Błachowicz 2, and his great last win in the UFC versus Johnny Walker it was really nostalgic to see him again, after that, I don't know that he shifted to Bellator back then, while Karl Moore has a great 4 consecutive record right now in Bellator and this is his opportunity to fight for the light heavyweight belt after it was vacated by Vadim Nemkov and moving up to the Heavyweight, While I haven't had any idea who is the 2 women fighting at the moment,

Of course I don't think he still high school kid just learning martial arts, but he teenager who has become good enough fighter that ONE Championship is really interested and decided to have contract with him.
Johan Ghazali has full support from his family and he has sufficient material support to be able to develop his talents by practicing more martial arts so that he can achieve much greater achievements in the world class.
I sure Johan Ghazali will never be satisfied with the accomplishments of just fighting in ONE Championship but he definitely wants more popular fights.
There is still plenty of time for him to develop in the future.

It's truly impressive to see someone like Johan Ghazali, not just a high school kid learning martial arts and drawing the attention of ONE Championship, The fact that he has the backing of his family and ample material support to hone his skills speaks volumes about his potential, It's evident that Johan is not content with just participating in ONE Championship; he aspires for more prominent bouts, aiming for wider recognition,

With his determination and support system, there's a strong foundation for Johan to continue developing his skills and achieving greater heights in the world of martial arts that is for sure,

Forgot that they are now one and the same face. This makes sense now why they have cross promotion fights. But instantly another question appears in my head Cheesy How hard it is to stick to specific rules when you are in a fight? Never thought that in PFL all kind of elbow strikes are prohibited, yet Bellator allow them. Shouldt they unify rules ? That rules looks worth discussing in general. Maybe this is only because elbow strikes make huge cuts. Other strike can open skin also, but elbow cut is deeper. I think it might be because of their season system, that huge deep cuts heal for long, but fighters need to be ready to fight every, dont know, 3 months.

I also forgot that the PFL bought the Bellator It's an interesting realization between promotions and how it explains cross-promotion fights The diversity in rules across organizations, like PFL prohibiting certain elbow strikes while Bellator allows them, does raise thought-provoking questions, maybe they will just make a PFL rules more because PFL bought Bellator so they have the authority in doing it, Finding a balance between safety, competitive fairness, and the unique characteristics of each organization could be challenging but essential for the overall development and standardization of the sport. It's a topic that could benefit from ongoing dialogue within the MMA community,

Main Card (PPV)
Superlek Kiatmuu9 vs Takeru Segawa
Kade Ruotolo vs Tommy Langaker
Shinya Aoki vs Sage Northcutt
Yoshihiro Akiyama vs Nieky Holzken
Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong vs Marat Grigorian
Garry Tonon vs Martin Nguyen
Itsuki Hirata vs Ayaka Miura

Preliminary Card (YT)
Danny Kingad vs Yuya Wakamatsu
Rade Opacic vs Iraj Azizpour
Bokang Masunyane vs Keito Yamakita
Hiroba Minowa vs Gustavo Balart

This fight is already starting and so far so good for me Superlek Kiatmuu9 could still win this as we all know Superlek Kiatmuu9 is already a veteran in Muay Thai, sure because of that fast pace and strong kicks his opponent will surely just accept defeat, right now the 1st match Gustavo Balart defeated Hiroba Minowa, Bokang Masunyane defeated Keito Yamakita, Rade Opačić Defeated Iraj Azizpour and Yuya Wakamatsu defeated Danny Kingad the Filipino fighter, as of now this is the only results that I have seen so far,

Introducing more and more interesting games, but it all too late to try because if think about it and take into account busy schedule, won't be able to have time to try playing with the various updates available, for those who are still teenagers who are still school children, may still have lot of time.
Just imagine us from morning to evening working on running business or something else and after that starting activities in this forum, but when we don't have time we prefer to visit gambling sites and make some bets or games that we like.
From here it is clear that it is very difficult to have time to play with PlayStation and we have family so we would prefer to do some activities that might be more useful or more likely to generate some money, although gambling does not guarantee making money but we can gain some experience.
So far betting on MMA or UFC has become favorite for most gamblers and of course when betting they will also watch the fight, even if only through television broadcasts or streaming.

I totally understand where you're coming from. With busy schedules and responsibilities, finding time for leisure activities like playing PlayStation can be a challenge. It's especially true for those managing businesses or other commitments. It seems like for many, engaging in activities like betting on MMA or UFC serves as a form of entertainment and even a chance to gain some experience. Balancing time between responsibilities and leisure can indeed be tricky. Here's to finding a good balance and enjoying the activities that bring both joy and fulfillment.

Things are starting to get interesting as PFL vs Bellator Champions event is approaching, and today there was Press Conference with Faceoffs.
You can see all the fighters face to face but it was funny to see how tall is Renan Ferreira compared to Ryan Bader Smiley
He is much heavier, taller, younger and he has big reach advantage for this fight, so Bader is going to have problems to win.
My early bet is on Ferreira to win.

Full Press Conference with Faceoffs video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lUoPjqSeYY

For sure that event will be a little blast Bellator VS PFL is something fans are anticipating and I think the Bellator side is more tempting to make some bets, Renan Ferreira sure looks large but because of the experience of Ryan Bader it could be great anticipation to make some bet on that but I am still a reserve in who I want to pick, Johnny Eblen for me is more tempting than Impa Kasanganay, Patricio Pitbull is a sure bet for me Vadim Nemkov, is great Yoel Romero is more menacing than Thiago Santos, and AJ McKee Jr. rather than going with Clay Collard, so good luck to us, on that match-ups.

^  Rofl yeah...  The guy is 6 inches taller and has an 11 inch reach advantage.  And by heavyweight standards, he is young at 34.  Bader is getting up there at 40.  :/

I wonder what the lines are when they come up.  If Ferreira is around 1.60 - 1.70, that's def value as he could look like a 1.30 favorite.

Edit:  Good to have some ONE FC action since there's no UFC this weekend.  I don't really know much about these guys but looking forward in watching them throw leather.  Hope some book has this tho.

It is better for fighters as they will avoid serious injuries, but I have seen use of elbows in UFC a lot and it was very effective in some cases.

I think elbows are prohibited in kickboxing and exotic combat arts like Wing Chun. Even though elbows are lethal, they are perfect for clinches. Without elbows, fighting near fence would turn into hugging. I remember Pride era with stomps, soccer kicks. We had Vale Tudo, where strikes with head were allowed. And it was OK. Now people are worried about elbows. Cuts might be deep, elbow can make dents in skull bones. But if a person has soft bones, forbidding elbows wont help. One low kick check and hello crutches. Plus there is always a ref to save from major injury.

Good find!
I really didnt know about that, and I am not sure what to say about this, it would mean that elbow strike could result in negative points in fight or no contest.

Octagon cage shape is not such a big problem for me, and I knew about different size of UFC cages.
There are also different rules based on locations, states and countries.

Several teenagers here in the area where I live apparently already know and they are quite fond of playing the EA Sports UFC 5 game.
They said that the features of this game were much better than some other old school games, they even got game that was really like live broadcast because of the various advantages that could get.
Well, that is good for them, if they are already playing EA sports for UFC 5 which has great graphics than the old WWE games, but I think the WWE games are still updating and continuing up to now, and the latest right now was the WWE 2K23 which you can buy in Steam, for sure it got great graphics to offer, and what I like about this are the multiplayer mode that they have,

PFL just announced new big event coming in February and this is the first time all BFL Champions will face Bellator Champions!
Yoel Romero is coming back against Thiago Santos in this fight of the veterans, Romero is 46 and Santos 40 years old.
This event is happening in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, but one guy we are missing here is Francis Ngannou who is preparing for another boxing fight.

https://pflmma.com/news/pfl-champions-vs-bellator-champions

Whoa...  Really?!?  I think that's prolly the best roster I've ever seen outside of the UFC that could compete even with the best rosters in any UFC PPV event.  I hope we'll see more events like it from the PFL - Bellator.  It's good to have some competition.  It just makes MMA better overall.  And that also means a bigger and more diverse betting market.

Damn I can't wait to see what the lines on these match ups are like.

And those guys at the top wouldn't want no smoke from Ngannou.  Lolol.  Would've been nice to see him up there tho.

I dont think elbows are not allowed in PFL, they have almost the same MMA rules like Bellator, UFC and others.
Only way for different rules to exist is if there are kickboxing fights and special mixed rules, but I mostly saw fights like this only in ONE Championship.
Elbows and knees are allowed not only in MMA but in Muay Tha also, but there is no fighting on ground.

The PFL's matches are held inside a 10-sided mixed martial arts cage known as the SmartCage, and adhere to the unified rules of mixed martial arts, with the exception that the PFL prohibits all elbow strikes

Second clause on wiki. Turns out that the cage is different also. Before reading that, never thought there were really a difference. While it is probably nothing that the cage is different, but no elbow seems odd. Elbows are lethal, but they are for close range only. So no elbow is a big question for me.

P.S. While searching for answer, found that UFC octagon cage has two sized. 25ft for events in UFC Apex, and 30ft in all other events.

You know who is missing also on such a large tournament? Ante Delija. Havent heard about this guy for a while. And he was considered to be Ngannou counter in PFL. During years 2021-2022 were Delija was more busy, but got only 1 fight in 2023.
Yes that is true, maybe they are saving him to face Francis Ngannou in his first MMA fight after divorce from UFC and excursion to boxing world.

Since this is a cross promotion event, the winner walks away with two belts? Or next contender have to wait for another cross promotion event? Or move to other promotion?
I think they will have one unified belt, same way like they are doing in boxing.
PFL owns both companies now so they can do whatever they want Smiley
