This will be very interesting fight because it brings together two truly brutal champions and of course this fight will determine which of them deserves to be the true champion.
Demetrious Johnson vs Anatoly Malykhin and both are currently champions in their respective divisions, Demetrious himself is the ONE Flyweight MMA World Champion while Malykhin is the holder of 3 titles in 3 divisions who previously won his third title after defeating Reinier de Ridder.
Both of them will give really amazing fight because these two fighters both have quite tough fighting styles.
This is very interesting fighting format, but how can this two guys from different weight categories fight against each other?
Demetrious Johnson is Bantamweight category and Anatoly Malykhin is Light Heavyweigh category.
This is gigantic difference in weight and size, and I dont understand how this can be approved.
Indeed, this is interesting because it brings together two great fighters who currently hold championship belts in their respective divisions, but you are right that they have difference in weight which will be difficult to meet in the near future.
And damn it turns out that all of this was an April Fool joke issued directly by the official ONE Championship account, many of us ONE Championship fans were fooled by the news about this joke.
Only time there is chance to bring them together is in the future when Demetrious Johnson decides to move up to the heavyweight division by moving up in weight.
But it will definitely take more than 2 years like what McGregor did now who has more weight, regarding that fight I consider really take it seriously.
I don't know what ONE Championship did on their official account regarding jokes like this, but it really surprised and confused many people.

PFL is finally back with another great event!
Main event is fight of big heavyweight guys Ante Delija and Valentin Moldavsky.
I watched Delija fight several times and I think he is training with legendary Mirko CroCop, and he is favorite to win in this fight.
He has a reach advantage and he is heavier than Moldavsky but anything can happen in heavyweight category with one good punch.

I guess that is why they put grappling only as a first round rule (Johnson won some gold medals among bjj brown belts). This is where size does not matter when you can leg lock your opponent and end fight in less than 10 sec. The Internet is full of wrestling/grappling videos when smaller guys win much larger opponents. Starting from round two, I think it will be over for Demetrious, when Anatoly will be allowed to use his heavy punches. However, Anatoly now is a middleweight +30kg difference is still a lot, but not as if it was flyweight vs heavyweight. But what I dont understand is round 5 - capoeira Cheesy As if it is a joke and promotion expect the fight not to last till that round Cheesy

Or, it was April 1 joke Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

P.S. how is your mma video gaming experience ?

Bellator Champions Series is moving to Belfast in few days and we can expect to see some interesting fights.
Patricio Pitbull is defending hid title in co-main event against Jeremy Kennedy in featherweight category, and Corey Anderson is facing Karl Moore in main event for Light Heavyweight belt.
There are plenty of fighters from Ireland in this cards and they should be very motivated in front of home crowd.

Some sad news that might turn into even worse.

I hope you all know and remember such mma fighter as Mark Coleman. UFC former champ, member of hall of fame, numerous Pride Grand Prix participant. The guy who was one of those who started ground and pound and hammer fists. Right now he is fighting for his life in one of US hospitals. He has saved (carried out) his parents from burning house, but due to that he is in bad condition right now. You can read more about it @ https://www.foxsports.com.au/ufc/ufc-legend-mark-coleman-fighting-for-life-after-saving-parents-from-house-fire/news-story/5344588224949f98e87a6316c4c5512a

Malykhin is really a nice guy. He has that charming charisma, despite most of fighters dont have. He is actually can sell his fights for being funny, as he trolls his opponents (search in google for his Bhullar and chicken trolling video). Perfect record. Many would want to see him in UFC, but I would tell that guys there is on another level. Malykhin has strong punch, wrestling base and nice cardio. Pretty much it. That strong punch soon wont be enough to win imho. He must have more than one “special”.

~snip~
It's truly impressive to see someone like Johan Ghazali, not just a high school kid learning martial arts and drawing the attention of ONE Championship, The fact that he has the backing of his family and ample material support to hone his skills speaks volumes about his potential, It's evident that Johan is not content with just participating in ONE Championship; he aspires for more prominent bouts, aiming for wider recognition,

With his determination and support system, there's a strong foundation for Johan to continue developing his skills and achieving greater heights in the world of martial arts that is for sure,
He really is potential fighter who can dominate several classes in ONE Championship, in fact many people are starting to think he can become really strong champion, to the point that many people are talking about Johan Ghazali that he is capable of becoming star like Rodtang Jitmuangnon or even Buakaw.
But there is still long way to go, he is still very young and has to gain lot of experience to be able to make all of that happen, it is not easy to develop into the best and strongest.
It just that looking at the background of support and enthusiasm he has, I am sure that Johan Ghazali will become very great fighter in the future, even the best fighter that ONE Championship has.
Moreover, many people want to see and hope that Johan Ghazali can become champion or achieve great achievements in ONE Championship in 2024.

It just that for ONE Championship I amazed by Anatoliy Malykhin who is the ONE Championship Middleweight, Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight World Champion.
Reinier de Ridder suffered humiliating defeat against Anatoliy Malykhin and it looks like Anatoliy Malykhin revenge in 2022 he loses his light heavyweight belt and loses his undefeated record.
Anatoliy Malykhin made history by collecting 3 belts for 3 divisions of ONE Championship, congratulations to Anatoliy Malykhin.

the next ksw event takes place in two weeks
I dont know any fighter from this fight card. Sad
Things can change a lot in two weeks and I usually dont like talking much about fights cards like that.

PFL is starting new event in few days and they are back in Paris, France.
Accor Arena should be full for main event between Doumbe and Chamsoudinov, both guys are in home ground and have perfect record so far.

I wonder when comes that turning point when Ngannou gets interested in money, but not in fighting. So far he has quite an aura of undefeated beast. His striking is on high level, he knows how to defend against wrestlers. When will become moment, when he will get lazy to train and goes for a paycheque only. Jumping from mma to boxing, and then jumping back with huge boxing cheques on the mind isnt good. Renan Ferreira is a controversial fighter. He has wins, but what about those 3 NC ? Opponents are lower level than Ngannou had (except Bader). I will say what many have in their mind, Ngannou needs Delija Cheesy

I'm not following PFL at all but might start if Ngnnou actually returns to MMA.
Ferreira has just beaten Ryan Bader within 30 seconds of the first round, he put him down with the first punch. I haven't seen any of his previous fights but that was impressive.
As for Ngannou, I wonder if there's an actual date set yet, or is his return contingent on the outcome of his fight against Anthony Joshua.
Ferreira was much better than Bader, he is younger, and he had some other advantages, but Ngannou will crush him easy in next fight.
Ngannou boxing fights will only make him better for MMA comeback, and I dont think anyone can show serious resistance against him in PFL heavyweight.
Ante Delija, Ferreira and others are all great fighters, but they are not on the same level with him, maybe some new face signs up this year.

I want to see this two in octagon  Grin

Breaking news!
PFL just announced that Francis Ngannou first MMA fight after signing new contract will be against winner of Renan Ferreira vs Ryan Bader.
I think Ngannou wins fight against any of this guys, but this weekend will be good chance for us to see who is better.
Ferreira is a slight favorite and he is younger, but Bader has more experience and I think he is better on ground.

I imagine he will prioritise his boxing career and do MMA only when there's no profitable boxing bout available. Should he defeat AJ, he'll probably be looking to fight a rematch with Fury, but if Fury wins, I'm not sure if Francis will be allowed to fight for all those belts (assuming Fury defeats Usyk) after only having 2 boxing fights in his resume.

This is going to be very interesting week of MMA and we have first PFL vs Bellator Champs in Saturday!
I love watching heavyweight fights and Ryan Bader vs Renan Ferreira should be a great fight.
Ferreira has big reach advantage and he is six years younger than Bader, and his only recent loss is against Ante Delija in 2022.
In same category Nemkov is fighting against Bruno Cappelozza, and he was better than Jirí Prochazka in 2015 and Bader in 2020.
With Thiago Santos vs Yoel Romero and all other fights, this whole fight card is a must watch.

Life, Love and Laughter...
Btw, I just watched the replay of ONE FC's latest event.  It was in Muai Thai but omfg...  It was a banger!  I think it was scheduled for 5 but it lasted just until the third and man it was mayhem from start to finish.  I highly recommend that you guys watch it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ICnd-aRsy9M&pp=ygUGb25lIGZj

Just skip the preliminary matches and go straight to the main event.  Just wow.  Pretty sure you guys will like it.

I wonder what book offers lines for ONE FC at every event.  I've seen FJ have it and Rollbit but not always.

After that ONE Championship event, the ONE 165 was really a great event if you are a fan of Superlek Kiatmoo9 or even his Japanese opponent Takeru Segawa, and the aftermath of that fight was really something and for sure Takeru Segawa will not forget what has happened to him that day because of what Superlek Kiatmoo9 have done to him, those injuries that Superlek Kiatmoo9 have given to the Japanese fighter, here is the image,

Those Injuries Takeru Sagawa had while fighting Superlek Kiatmoo9 were surely something that he also didn't expect him to be like, those kicks and what happened to Takeru Sagawa's legs it was full of Bruisses, and he said that his legs were killing him and after he takes off his jacket because he will take a bath then he then notice that he has a muscle tear on one of his upper arm, for sure that will gave him trouble, for sure Superlek Kiatmoo9 is on another level,

I have just watched the replay and it was really brutal all that have paid and watched the fight surely gave the audience a great experience with this kind of fight Superlek Kiatmoo9's kicks were really explosive you could surely hear the power when they hit Takeru's legs, it was brutal and after that fight the aftermath of the fight Takeru's Leg was brutally bruises, you can clearly see the legs of Takeru Sagawa's damage to his legs, while Takeru Sagawa inside the ring he have shown his boxing prowess he hit Superlek Kiatmoo9 several times that end up with Kiatmoo9 getting groggy with it, but still in the decision Superlek Kiatmoo9 still won the fight that brutal kicks and correct timing with his evade and push was the one that saves him from the brutal punches of Takeru Sagawa,

PFL just announced new Bellator Champions Series and first event is going to be on Bellator 302 in Belfast, Ireland on March 22.
Main event is Corey Anderson vs Karl Moore and co-main Leah McCourt vs Sinead Kavanagh, full fight card will be updated later.
This is going to be the first separate even for Bellator since PFL purchase, and before that there is PFL vs BELLATOR Champs scheduled for February 24.

https://www.bellator.com/article/Professional-Fighters-Leagues-Launches-New-Bellator-MMA-Champions-Series

WOW! It has been a long time since I haven't seen Corey Anderson after his loss to Jan Błachowicz in the event back since UFC Fight Night: Anderson vs. Błachowicz 2, and his great last win in the UFC versus Johnny Walker it was really nostalgic to see him again, after that, I don't know that he shifted to Bellator back then, while Karl Moore has a great 4 consecutive record right now in Bellator and this is his opportunity to fight for the light heavyweight belt after it was vacated by Vadim Nemkov and moving up to the Heavyweight, While I haven't had any idea who is the 2 women fighting at the moment,
