That's why it's so important that you should read the fine print and a double check, a daily reminder for us to do the same, not just for checking our wins but also for other stuff.
I can't stress enough to my clients how important these part is when they're signing on documents and other stuff that needs their signature or approval, I work in an office where I deal with these people that have an issue with the contract that they've agreed to sign with their name on it, they were given the time to read it all but no they didn't do it, they just signed it then and there when the contract was presented and so when things get dicey for them, they all end up having some issues that I'm the one has the responsibility of dealing with, when this happens I almost always them to this exact words, "read the fine print and do double checks."
THIS, this is what the gambling industry is banking on, that we will be holding on to the hope that we could be this people that have won the lottery or won something big in poker, slot, or any other games out there, they want us to hold on to that false hope that we could be that next winner and that we're going to still try despite the obvious amount of losses that we've incurred throughout our gambling journey, imagine if we start to think for a second and evaluate our life choices and think that maybe, we're not that kind of person that will attract this much luck thus ending with us stopping the game and the hope of getting the big win.
Totally agree with this one and now that I think about it, they really do make their money on people's hopes and dreams of winning the jackpot and it also coincides with the fact that a lot of people that are gambling in lottery and other public friendly games are mostly people that are poor, on the poverty line or below the poverty line, maybe if people stop doing putting their hard earned money in gambling especially the people that are on the social class that I've mentioned, the earnings of the gambling industry would probably reduce to half or more.
It's a really wild world out there, the math of these happening is just too unfathomable to us that we can't believe that someone's so lucky when in reality, she's just unconsciously calculating the right numbers to put in or the steps to take so when she gets in the queue, it's the winning ticket. Everyone's wishing to be like her and I get that, two lucks in a row isn't something that happens usually. Smart move for her too to consider investing, if I've win that much money, I'd probably do the same thing.
Yeah, it's why we as human beings are always innovating, we want to know what's below that unfathomable, we want to know the unknown and sometimes the chaos of it all is just to alluring to not study, that's why I admire people that can understood math and probabilities, they're out there trying to justify that what the common men thinks is luck isn't luck but a sophisticated design that was supposed to be unknown to many.
