It's crazy how much moneypot can fluctuate, 15%down in a day.
Is there anything new since the last maintenance or was it just maintenance

For the record, the investor profits are back up to what they were before the sudden drop. I was flipping out for a bit, too, but then remembered that I had taken a small hit as an investor when the pool was only 650 BTC and a couple of users had won over 25 btc within hours of each other. Bounced back within a day or two Smiley

This is the all time high investors profit ever since the new team take it over. Glad that this site is still strong despite of the nasty variances that keeps on happening. Sooner or later moneypot will reach 1k btc invested , and that could attract more whales to come. Btw does anyone know where this huge peak of profit coming fromL

That's variance for you, one moment investors earned over 200 btc from players, and then the next drops 15% as a whale finally wins. It's just part of the risks and take it from a veteran in the business you want to see players win too because its best for business.
I know it's just a reminder that your still gambling when investing.

Yes, but gambling with a positive expected value as an investment Smiley

I saw the same message, but my deposit was credited very fast (provably i had luck and new block was found very fast).

Do we have an ETA on the Ruby integration? Or on the new site design?

Hey, Helix61be, to give you some reference, as an investor, my profits have been on the upswing nicely for the past month. There were only two days that reported at a loss, one of which consisted of one particular user winning over 11BTC within that 24hr period. My investments recovered nicely, and I'm now sitting on roughly +/-5% above what I invested last month.

5% in a month? That is a lot better than I thought, and I probably would invest some of my bitcoin in MP (I totally understand the risk involved and the future return rate is uncertain, don't worry about that Smiley)

I was just having a great conversation about my investments on my favorite MP site (Bit-Exo.com: shameless plug haha) about how I'm not a gambler. I play on the site, and as you can see from my MoneyPot profile, I've wagered quite a bit there. It's still nothing compared to what others have wagered, but the surest thing I've done with MoneyPot is to invest some of my coins into bankrolling their sites and apps.

Yeah, I know there's a risk by doing so, but overall, it's been paying off for me Smiley That's the safest form of "gambling" I'd recommend for you guys, but as an investor, I'd prefer if you actually gambled on the MoneyPot apps lol. So yeah, go do that Smiley

Good luck!

I am so glad that I have read BTCforJoe's post 2 weeks ago and decided to make an investment back then. I have got a profit of well over 5% in just 2 weeks. Smiley

Glad to hear, mate! Yup, my earnings increased even more, as well. I think we're at the forefront of how big MoneyPot will be, and I'm starting to see more and more MP apps popping up all over the place.

Now, I'm looking forward to RBIES being integrated into the MoneyPot platform, as I've got some RBIES I'd like to use to bankroll MP sites, as well.

Is there an option to enable 2fa to withdraw, btce had this and i thought it was nice.
Does anyone experiences that moneypot is sometimes slow to connect, it can take a full minute, i got this with my cellphone through wifi 4g, and my pc

Yes, 2fa is available and HIGHLY recommended.  You can enable it here when you are signed in (https://www.moneypot.com/me/security).

Regarding connection, it may be the case that you're attempting to connect when we are doing maintenance (we've been doing more than our fair share last few days).

I haven't experienced any loading problems. Also, there is an "option" to make 2 factor required for withdraws, just turn on 2 factor and it requires both your password and the 2 factor code to withdraw I believe. I might be thinking of a different site but I am pretty sure it's MP as I got annoyed having to go grab my phone to withdraw.
Hmm weird, sometimes my pc can connect but my phone just keeps loading, or the other way around.
And for the 2fa i didn't withdraw myself, but nice to know that its there

But eventually, any/all coins added or will be added will have the investment feature and will work just like Bitcoins.

In the end if this will be the goal of moneypot team then would it be more convenient to use a service that will allow the altcoins to be converted into bitcoin instantly the moment someone depositted on the site? that will save more resources rather than building all those system for altcoins

I agree that it would save resources using the method you described and right now, anyone can convert alt-coins into bitcoin using shapeshift or another similar service.

With the new wallets coming into play however, the currency chosen will remain in the same currency, won't create any sell pressure (as we aren't exchanging or selling them), and allows for positive growth in that coin (investment) as well as buy pressure from people who wish to play in that currency.

Well I admit that would be a very nice feature and of course this could attract some enthusiast from the coins holder. There are alot of coins enthusiast that cant gamble with their coins though. Oh well regarding my queston, do you as part of the MP team confirm that there will be investment feature for the altcoins version as well?
