Well what I mean is that most sites use the just-dice.com scheme, which makes the entire sequence of players bets derived from a single seed. This means that a hacker would only need to access the seed once, and then could offline generate all games. However MP is a little bit more secure (for certain type of attacks) in that it generates a new server seed each bet, which means that someone exploiting the games would need to be continually monitoring it. Something like that, anyway.
thx for explaining. I understand that the difference of MP security to JD is that it is more difficult for an outsider but easier for an insider. not saying it was an insider job but all options need to be investigated and to be taken into account.
@Quickseller just for info the answer/wording from RHavar was
So based on the later messages, it seems like he won ~20 BTC net profit from a ~5 bitcoin in deposits? This doesn't sound strange at all, you could ballpark is as a ~1 in 5 chance. No?
I just very recently have a user who's won ~160 BTC on the back of a 0.5 BTC (or something like that, based on what he was saying in the chat). Obviously this isn't typical (say a ~1 in 400 chance?) but I mean it's a casino where you have thousands of players, it would be strange if stuff like that didn't happen.
