Investor profit now down to -1.7 btc.

Not if he keeps tanking it, lol. The best time to invest was yesterday. The next best time is right now. The third best time is ASAP. Just like with any investment with a +EV.

That guy has gone insane. He kept making huge bets on DustDice and further push the investor profit down. At one point, it was -28.3.
I literally can't stop myself from refreshing his profile page and the investment page every 30 seconds to see how it goes.

Edit: It is now at -34.6.

New Feature: Divestment Lockouts

Often people have given me money to hold, normally to prevent themselves from gambling. Well now we have an automated solution if you don't trust your future-self

On the investment tab, checkout our "Divestment Lockout" feature:

That's very cool feature , Unique at present among all !!
As a frequent Gambler i can understand the Uncountable urge to put all my money(BTC) on stake , i often use other Persons(Trusted) or Deep Freezer to hold my BTC , so that i don't loose them with my shitty desires.
I definitely gonna use this "Divestment Lockout" feature.

Ouch. We're already down to a lower profit # than at any other point in the past ~50 days. He's single-handedly tanked the investments, lol.

Big congratulations to luthic who put on a real show on DustDice with max-profit bets, ending the day with a total winnings of 21 bitcoins!

He has wagered less than 1 btc with just 178 bets but is able to win over 21 btc, so he must be making bets with huge multiplier and win it very soon. Congrats to the lucky winner and sorry to the investors lol.

Looks to me like he could have been doing a 0.25 BTC martingale at 49.5% (178 / 2 = 89 / 4 = 22.25 BTC)

If he was doing martingale, his total wagered should be much much bigger than his profit. For example, if he loses 0.25 and wins 0.5, his wagered would be 0.75 (3x of his profit), and if he lose 0.25, 0.5, 1 and wins 2 btc, his wagered would be 3.75 (15x of his profit).

His bets totaled 100 BTC, though. This would make sense. Let's assume ~50% were losses, ~50% wins.

93*0.25 = 23.25 BTC
31*0.5 = 15.5 BTC
53*1 = 53 BTC
5*2 = 10 BTC

It's still entirely plausible.

This is pretty much dead on in terms of rolls, wagered, and won amounts. Could be broken down a bit further to find exact but I'm too lazy to do this right now.

EDIT: I found I made a terrible mistake. His wagered is 99 btc rather than 0.99 btc. Please disregard the posts lol.

Not a good feature, IMO. Wink

It would mean that an investor will not be able to divest when profits are going off the cliff. Not even when he notices a very highroller with a giant bankroll trying to beat Moneypot.
Good for the site, tho, makes sure investor money is locked to it.
Constructive criticism. Supposed to be good. Grin

I suggest changing it. May be allow divest (or invest), but funds are still locked (that they can't withdraw to an app/wallet/address/user). Would mean more flexibility. Smiley
+1 on this. However users should be able to withdraw funds to an emergency address if they wish. If something were to change between now and 30 days from now (say that something were to happen that would make you look untrustworthy, or there was some vulnerability that you refused to patch) then investors would be forced to keep their money locked in the bankroll.

For Developers:  We have a new push server. This replaces the existing "a-chat-server" and contains many improvements, and extra features, such as deposit, withdrawal and bet notifications.

For people simply replace the chat server, the api is almost the same which will make updating extremely easy and give extra niceties like a improved moderation system and persistent chat.

Please read our blog for more information, and update at your earliest convenience

https://blog.moneypot.com/introducing-socketpot/

Let the players rejoice, perhaps this will solve the many issues players have with the current chat api! Good work Smiley

I'm interested in knowing if this fixes the whole multi-post issue (where the site gets out of sync with the chat and will spam each message 3-4x). While it's easily fixed with a refresh, that's annoying if you're running a bot at the time and don't want to keep stopping it.
