All Games incl Racer and Lottery game are Closed
I just checked all the apps that are offered, and if one adds the "Bets Profit" it should be over 100 BTC up. What app did then lose 80 BTC so that profit is only 20 BTC?

(PS: Maybe I am missunderstnading something.)

Thanks,

maybe you didn't see all apps? how did you check for all apps? is there a place you can see all apps?
thanks

Let me see if I got this one straight. The main diference between moneypot and any other btc wallet is the app funciont and the investement function right? If a casino choose to integrate with the moneypot api, we can manage our casino balance without inside the wallet right?

Is it like the "direct transfer" from banks? Like a casino is authorized to get money from our wallet (an ammount probably specified from us etc).

Looks like you nailed it this time Tongue

 Hi,

There is no interest rate , you invest as the bankroll for the moneypot gambling websites and in return you get what the gamblers of those sites lose or you lose what the gamblers of those sites win. You also pay house edge to ryan+app owner whatever the outcome is.

 Best Regards

 Miklagard

How much is the average of return ? Example just-dice is 0.25 % daily .......

Over the past 40 days, around -0.2% per day (loss of 0.2%) is the average based on personal records.

It's gone up as high as +5% in a day, but players have been winning a lot lately.

But the player have win or have use any cheat (i remember the man who win 2000 btc to primedice)?

Nope, at least Ryan haven't found anything wrong yet.
It is most likely just some short term variance.

The investor profit is now back to +22.5 btc, with Ryan giving up MP's profit.

I'll try generate a chart now this time properly =)

Because it's fun, :p.

Can you also add some type of UI change to the investor page that has:

1) Your current effective rate of return (i.e., when the site is paying out 100% and you're still part of that pool, show 100%, when it's lower, show that), to keep up with expectations and to see where you stand

and

2) Have a number that denotes the max profit/change from current (i.e., if you had 1 BTC and it had gone up to 2 BTC and is now 0.5 BTC, it would be something like [1 BTC | -1.5 BTC] or something like this), to help see about how much there is to go before the break-even point?

Ok, how about until the investor profit are breaking new highs, i'll keep donate all my commissions to them =)

Sounds okay to me, but what is the previous high?
There is no unit on the right axis of your chart on https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.12127438.

 Hi Ryan,

Moneypot shows +12 profit for me , you have stated it still keeps going lower but today it hit as low as +5 as I see and some said even possibly - rather then +. So I think investors are getting their money back with some unlucky bets of gamblers if I am not wrong.

 Best Regards

 Miklagard

Yeah, it's a bit of a roller-coaster. It hit a low of under -1, but by the time I woke up it was +5,  then I decided to give my commissions to investors yet it kept dropping to +3 BTC, but at the time of writing your post it was +12, and it's currently +14.6

It's going to be a long and bumpy ride, and if you want to keep your sanity you'll probably find weekly checkins are a lot more stable

Doing some back of the envelope calculations based on the last few days the average returns should have been a bit over 0.3% a day. But in actuality investors had their asses handed to them.

The better way to think of it, is why do we accept investors in the first place? And that's because there's a huge amount of variance and risk involved. Actually even since I started diverting 100% of my commissions to the investors, they've still lost another 3 BTC. Unless you have a strong stomach and have diversified heavily, it's probably not a good idea to invest. In fact, as some of the address I've signed have shown, I could easily bankroll the site 100%, but make an educated decision not to. (And I have one investing advantage over you guys, I have no counter-party risk)

I'm tempted to rename the "Investor Tab" to  "+EV gambling". I don't mean to be too negative, but these are real risks people should be aware of. But for the people who do understand the risks and want to come along from the ride, welcome! Thanks for helping our max-profit =)

And assuming we continue to have volume, and don't have any unknown exploits .. eventually the law of large numbers will do it's thing =)

 Hi,

We believe this type of promotions and community caring behaviors of Ryan has put moneypot and its websites (bustabit and all moneypot api related dice sites) to the top of the list for many people. This is the reason with all sites combined passes dice site that has been here since 2012 .

Keep up the good work and all the best wishes.

Are you sure?
Say for example, if someone invested 1 bitcoin, lost 8% (=0.08 btc), divested all his balance except 0.00001 btc, it would take forever for that remaining 0.00001 btc to grow to 0.08001.

So if ranlo (or any one single bankroll investor) divest most of his investment, his investment profit will stay negative forever.

hehe, or if a mega-whale investor diluted everyone I'd be with out commissions for a while too Tongue

Ok, how about until the investor profit are breaking new highs, i'll keep donate all my commissions to them =)

This is an awesome thing to do. But is this based on total investments (i.e., when it shows investor profit = 0 it's over) or account-by-account? Like I'm currently down 8.26%, while the site profit as a whole just went back up to positive again.

Until all individual investors are at a net profit

I think this only counts if you keep your investment going, rather than pulling it out.
