@Synchronice, Using a VPN sounds tempting but I’d rather not risk it with the KYC issues. I’ll definitely steer clear of using a VPN to avoid any potential conflicts with their rules.
That would be a problem for others that can't access the site if they will ask KYC when a person requested to withdraw his/her balance on the account. My country is also one of the country that cannot create an account on their platform unless you use a VPN then you can create an account. I created my own account not too long ago and I use VPN then I tried to activate the account but it shows error or failed to activate. If they won't require KYC then it wil be great for those who need VPN to access and play.
I guess requiring KYC for withdrawal is normal besides we should be expecting a new Platform anytime soon hopefully. The new platform has a list of accepted countries so I don’t see the use of vpn important but if the casino decides to require KYC then that’s their decision.

Wow wow wow, I was searching Ryan Garcia on Youtube and found this amazing ad video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rsck9M3768A
You are welcome MonkeyTilt. It seems that there are serious people behind this casino and it's very nice to see you on Bitcointalk. By the way, I saw the list of restricted countries and almost the globe is prohibited to open accounts and make deposit on your website, so where does your userbase come from?

Gambling isn’t entirely banned here in the Philippines, but there have been recent crackdowns on online gambling operations, especially those run by foreign entities. I think this might be one of the reasons why I’m facing issues aside from casino restrictions. I know that using a VPN could be a last resort, but I don’t consider using it anymore due to slow site loading times, which is frustrating. Additionally, there’s always the risk that the casino’s support team might not assist.
You won't experience slow loading times with a good VPN service provider. Most importantly, you have to connect to the nearest VPN server to experience less lag but most VPN softwares show you the latency before you connect. Also, owning a dedicated IP address is a good idea too. But as you said, it's risky, I would only use VPN to hide my IP but I would do it by buying a dedicated IP and connecting a server that's located in my country, so if they ask me to submit KYC, I won't have any problem.
Wow incredible video content. And it was made with a world-renowned boxer.
MonkeyTilt proves with this video that it is not an ordinary casino.
They take their job seriously and do not hesitate to spend, it is admirable. I can't wait to see such youtube content in time.
I have followed youtube page and I will be following new content with notifications open. Smiley

I guess it will be better to host the competition here, even if it will go to a few people, it is not bad, whoever the lucky winners are, they'll enjoy the bonus, that's how competitions are.
Why not both of them!  Cheesy
If this is not an option then I, also, would like to see an on-forum contest rather than a deposit bonus.

Whatever the decision is going to be, given the current number of restricted countries, it would be better to postpone this till the release of the new version so more users can participate in it and share the fun.

Good decision. I just found this posted from the official representative of the platform in this thread earlier:

Thanks for the heads-up, Alone. That's great to hear that they prioritize paying out winnings. I'll keep that in mind as I continue to explore options. Hopefully, their support team can help me sort this out without any issues. Fingers crossed!

Yeah, that's a really good point. I understand the risks involved with using a VPN and will avoid doing so. I definitely don’t want to run into issues with KYC later on, especially if I manage to win something substantial. I'll try contacting their support first and see if they can give me more clarity. Hopefully, there’s a way to resolve it without any legal or account complications. Thanks for the advice!

VPNs are not allowed on our platform. However, I would like to reiterate what Avante said above. We believe that your money is yours and err on the side of paying you out above all else.

A new platform is coming up, possibly this month as they said, which will have an improved platform with changes in UI, functionalities, a better sportsbook, more games, and most importantly, a new license that would allow access to the platform for a lot of countries that are currently restricted. You can find the complete list of countries and features to be added to the new platform here.

Just cooking up some bonuses that we could potentially offer here and wanna hear some of your feedback. Would you rather all have a chance at a deposit bonus, or we could host a small competition here for a larger bonus, but would only go to a few people?

We wanna keep you all involved as much as we can!

Depending on your goals, if you want to reach more new potential users, it might be better for you to make a deposit bonus. But why not do both? we also usually see competitions like the multiplier competitions (for slots or crash) that are in Games and rounds. It would be nice if we had everything here.
Yeap, both are really good, why not Smiley
The idea is that the games and rounds are entertaining, the content that casinos apply is fun. I think it is a good way to promote.

Thanks for involving the community. I don't know when you are planning to roll out the bonuses, is it before or after launching the new platform, you know right now many countries are still restricted from using the platform, at least until the new version is launched, so they cannot take advantage of a deposit bonus.

Reaching out to the support is probably your best shot. Don't use a VPN to access a platform if local laws in your country are against gambling or the casino doesn't support your country because you can get in trouble at the time of completing your KYC verification in case you manage to win something good and decide to make a withdrawal.

Network connectivity issues are the least of the problems of using a VPN for accessing a casino platform. The biggest issue in using a VPN for accessing a casino when your country is restricted is that if the casino asks for KYC verification in the future or when you make a deposit or request a withdrawal, you won't be able to comply with that because all this time, you have been hiding your IP address but now you can't hide your identity since you are asked to submit your personal documents to comply with KYC and AML regulations.
If a casino does not allow you from a restricted country or area, to register an account and use their platform, it's best to move on and find other platforms.

Trying to use VPN and pass through their filter is only making things worse for you. In the end, you will have to deposit money to bet, and have need to withdraw money. If thing goes wrong for you, like they ask KYC, how will you comply and finish it.

A platform surely knows if their users use VPN and as a user who tries to break ToS, you will have to go from VPN to bought documents for KYC. Start with bad idea, and go with another bad practical step that won't help your account and money safely.

A platform can block immediately or not but you can not blame them on this. If you intentionally break ToS, you will be done in future.
Which casinos have IP blocks in place for restricted countries?

Well I don't think VPN will be the last option considering the fact that using a VPN could greatly affects the game processing since quit alot of data will be required to run an external VPN and this can affect the overall gaming experience in a negative ways, since it slow down you network and even eat dip into your internal device processing system.

I'm starting to wonder if reaching out directly to the casino's support team might be a better option. Perhaps they could provide more specific information about why my account is restricted and if there's a way to resolve the issue without using a VPN. I'll give it a shot and see what they say.

I feel like compliance with local laws and the recent crackdowns here in the Philippines might make that process a bit more complex, especially with foreign operators under scrutiny.

I think if there is no much thing as regards to regulations, if it be left for casino site, approving a country from ban list is easy since that is another way to grow their market.
Using a VPN can be a hassle, it's a trade-off that I'm not willing to make.

Oh sorry mate, that you are unable to register an account on this casino from your country, I will like to know if gambling is entirely banned in your country's or the casino have a list of restricted countries, knowing this can help us know what the best suggestion as an alternative.

Between using a VPN could become the last resort for you, but you should be ready to face some troubles aside from the fact that the team may or may not support that, you still have slow lsite loading to deal with while on VPN and that sucks most of the time.

Both deposit bonus and competition has its own market because I believe some gamblers do prefer deposit bonus than competition while some other do prefer the opposite.
Deposit bonus usually comes with huge wagering requirement, high likely players will lose their balance before completing the wagering requirement.
If you can provide deposit bonus with lower wagering requirement, it will be better as at least it will be competitive compared to other deposit bonus with 35-50x wagering requirement.
Or you can simply combine deposit bonus + competition, you can run it on your casino or you can also have exclusive bitcointalk bonus + promotions.

Thanks for the response, I really don’t have an answer because both options are great. A deposit bonus is also beneficial while any competition taking place here will involve more number of people. It’s more like a competition that requires anyone who will love to participate, I don’t mind if this competition win will be for few people rather the aim is to draw more participants and it’s always a competition so I don’t expect everyone to win, Like I said both options are great a deposit bonus offer will cover everyone it’s left for the management to choose what’s more better.

Hey.

Deposit bonuses are not bad, but I would vote for the competition with a larger bonus and fewer people. That should be fun, will also increase user activity in this thread, and will possibly bring more engagement for the casino as well because the word often spreads so quickly about competitions and giveaways and more people tend to come only to participate in them and who knows? You might get more active players because of the small competition being held.

It'll be interesting to find out how the competition will be conducted and how the team will manage to engage the whole community. However, I know it's going to be fun and I'm all ready for it.

I'm looking forward to it.  Smiley
It'd be a good choice to have a competition where the winner can decide in what way for the winner to receive the prize like receiving it as free bet or a balance on the account or to receive it on their wallet. If the campaign participants are allowed to participate in the competition where the competition is in the forum then the prize should be like that because some forum members aren't able to create an account on monkeytilt like me where it's not available on my location. I don't know if it's solved when using VPN.
