Yes and some altcoins' prices are gradually decreasing. Aside from the bearish market, I think it's also due to lack of communication from developers and having no updates at all about the project. There's got to be a solid platform and some hype here and there to make users a bit excited  Grin

The market has realized most of these coins are worth nothing and the promoters have no intention of developing the ecosystems
the promoters of such project are done with it. they already got their profit and done with their intention that's why they have no intention of developing it anymore, i guess.

Yes this is very normal in the industry, sometimes even if the Token Sale is very successful it may have a chance to become worthless in the future as many of the ICO's roadmap has never been accomplished.

That is why it essential before participating, you must do your due diligence on that project.

Yes, I know it. But if you are lucky, you can find some Altcoins that can make you profits.
I suggest investing in this altcoin: BLUE, XLM, NEO, and CARDANO

I think one reason is because of the decrease in the value of bitcoin, and also because of the numerous icos that are existing right now. More competitors, the harder for the project to stand out and become valuable. Also because of the token that come from airdrops that doesnt really have values.

The reason behind this, is that some developers do not have the intention of creating a coin that will add value, all they want is get their own profit and take to their heels

Yes, there are too many different crypto-currencies that are too overvalued by investors. But I think that in the future there will be only worthy ones who already have their own product.

The market has realized most of these coins are worth nothing and the promoters have no intention of developing the ecosystems
This is a truth that they have no intention to develop ecosystem and the better field and the main reason behind this factor is that everyone is towards the success and want to touch new new things and new new technology instead to water his time in the worst and dead coins , that why the most of the people are making themself to keep himself away from such coins .
Well right now  about 2200+ coins are live and out of them about 600+ coins are which have values ( more than 1 Satoshi ) .
And the main thing is that most of the dead coins are available at the worst and at few better exchange , I found most of the dead coins at the yobit.net ,  I don't understand that why the yobit.net exchange try to delist the dead altcoins , about 2-3 years old dead coins are at dead conditions and I don't think that coin will come back in the market again .
Here the best thing that we can do is that we should go with that coins which are better by technology , instead to those coins which comes in ICOs just copy paste and no real guinine base of use in real life , in this way we can give better limitations for such things at few extent .

Could be possible, many alts are falling and falling without a bottom in sight and I guess this bear market will shake out many weak projects who are not committed to create something or stick to their roadmaps

Yes because of the experience of the scam ICO investors are now more skeptic and selective to the projects they want. In reality, there are really many shit coins out there that it really give negative impact on the long run to us investors.

Worthless are those projects which have no continuous development and clear roadmap or vision. Already there are ICO which are scam from the start. It is much better to invest in altcoins with active development and real-world use cases.

Many of last years ICO's have ruined the whole industry for a while. Many were able to grab such massive amounts of money, money better spend at real projects, like the ones from this year. Serious...what start-up needs $50m for a crowdsale? I am glad current ICO's try to go for a much lower hard cap, one that doesn't smell like a money grab from miles afar.

I hope in the end all those empty projects are removed from high volume exchanges, so they can wither and die in peace, paving the way for real blockchain projects, with real use. To think that all that money could have gone into real and genuine projects...Sad

These ICOs have not been studied in depth. They haven't calculated how much money they really need. They just keep asking for money.

To the project of something it was worth of course it needs to be developed. And so, of course there are a lot of coins that are worthless and it's a fact.

This is only true of scam projects and should not be thought of as the industry as a whole. Of course, when anyone can make a coin, scammers will make the most coins. But the gems with real teams and committed developers are going to change the world.

I think a lot of altcoins will go down to zero in the near future. Because there are a lot of projects on the market and many have no value, no team and prospects.

A lot many of the altcoins are pure copycats, with nothing new in them. But we need to introspect how these coins are able to get market cap of millions of USD, even when good projects are struggling to attract funding.
