We are not referring to the fraudulent ICO project, here it is said that the altcoin has a zero value. Because the coin developers have not finished their project well. They were losing their business and their company collapsed and their coin did not survive. So there are some altcoin that are wiped out in the market, their value is zero.

There are a lot of useless coins that do not bring anything new into the crypt, so nobody in fact invests in them and they just clutter up the market.
i think that's a bit of an overstatement. there's still some alts with values, those with solid teams/concepts/products and have real use cases. But the days of getting 100x from an ico are certainly behind us, or much much rarer in any case.

Many altcoins will definitely die. Majority of them have no solid product and team behind. The competition is tough here. For a project to stand out, it has to be relevant.
Mainly because the project is not worth investing due to the absence of solid road map that is why people would not buy those coins. You can also include the reason that the developer is scammer which keeps on acquiring the people's money from investments. People will not trust anymore if that developer has been tested to be a scammer. On the other hand, some projects loose its worth due to its holders. Sometimes, when the project are done with exchanges, the holders will dump their tokens.
I agree with this Dev stop developing there project if they didnt reach the quota they want that makes the coin shitcoin making market decline almost this year we saw many coins that went to scam thats really frustating for investor wasting money for some shitty ICOs.

But I agree if several coins not continuing their development. That's why Bittrex exchange always delists useless ALTCOIN.

indeed some coins have no sale value. in the absence of clear support from the TEAM and not having a good vision-mission, so as not to be able to shake the market. so I hope you are careful in choosing altcoin, you better invest in ETH.
There are about 1500 alt out there but I think about 100-300 alts that is valued (10%-20% only). All others are just rubbish!

Many alts are worth nothing, I agree. But if you have that mentality toward all alts, then you are going to miss out on some great investment opportunities. There are obviously a percentage of alts that are valuable. One that comes to mind is Waves. Everything I see about Waves is amazing. Another that is valuable is Syscoin. These teams work on their projects regardless of price because they truly are trying to build something amazing. Look into them and maybe you will see that they are really ground-breaking projects that will last.

Yes there are so many altcoins that are worthless because the developers abandoned the project. They may be interested in it at the beginning but lose their hope when they aren't successful in their ICO and/or lost confidence. Some are just plain scammers who may have shown interest in the first few months but eventually leave their supporters and investors. Other projects are just so hard to execute and took a long time that the supporters just lose their confidence to the developers and decided to sell their coins. Most of the developers of the coins don't communicate with their supporters and do not update any information that's why after a while their coin is dead.
There are so many coins listed in coinmarketcap but only a few of them have actual projects running and many of them are still just in planning phase and their projects may not even push through. Some coins have problem with their blockchain and are only existing for speculation purposes because it is already abandoned by its developers.

Investors should really know about what business that they invest. I have some good coins one of them is XCPO although the price is fall now but I will not sell it now, I thrust the developers, so although the price is very low but I will wait the project grow which makes the coin price increase.
