Considering people around me, I agree on that. Most people don't even know it. And I'm working in the technology world, computer engineer. A lot of curious people but not knowing what is that actually.
Of course, many people still do not know about this and if they start actively using bitcoin, then its price will grow much and it will be practically impossible to earn it. It will become only an instrument for investment.
for sure bitcoin is the most popular currency all around the world and a lot of countries are trading and investing in bitcoin but we cannot regret the reality still a lot of countries and nations are unaware of it and they are not aware of the features of the bitcoin we need to spread the awareness and should advertize bitcoin on social media and the TV so that everyone will know bitcoin and the value will also increase through it.

Let alone people who do not understand more about bitcoin technology is a virtual currency that uses technology as a way to transact. This is what some people still do not dare to use bitcoin as a transaction tool. The price of the unstable bitcoin may even be one reason. This makes the shop that sells its wares do not want to use bitcoin as a means of transaction. Especially among parents who are more than they are not so interested in using technological means to transact. They are more interested in transacting real, ie using fiat as a means of transaction. This needs a long realization.
That's true and real situations happening right now, most of the people really don't know about this all about. Fiat transaction online was still been recognized by those innocent people and I don't see them aware of any kind of bitcoin idea; some were saying it's a mere speculations from me which not even a good impressions for them if I shared about what amount of profit I got through bitcoin earnings. I agree on those parts that bitcoin price is not stable yet, but don't be discouraged because if price will rise higher, you can have spend your profit and drink your favorite wine with you.

I agree with you. It is a sad sight to see so many not having heard about bitcoin at all. Even people involved in some sort of technology related careers have no idea what bitcoin is. This is also one of the main reasons why many businesses have yet to accept bitcoin as a payment method and have turned away from using it. Most customers / people are not ready for the change that bitcoin comes with, as they are just getting used to the current Fiat system - maybe.
We will definitely see a change in bitcoin's popularity over the next few years, where more and more users will start using bitcoin which will push the value up even higher.

Yes of-course most of people not using Internet for their bread earning or for supporting their income.
The above reason itself help BITCOIN is still in early stage only and has potential for more growth
We don't know how government of every country going to accept BITCOIN that is going to make huge impact which might lead to tax implication.
It is great that nobody is going to stop BITCOIN
Because they have no option left except to regulate the BITCOIN.

I totally agree. Especially here in our small province, people really don't have any idea what is bitcoin. Let's just wait and see until they would know and understand what bitcoin really is. I have a strong feeling this would be so popular years from now if those people who already knows and uses it spreads it widely. People nowadays cannot live without phones with them and if they would know bitcoin exist which is accessable anytime anywhere, there's a 90% chance they would like it.
For now Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency is still young thats why only few people know it
From those people only few trust it.

For those poeple who know how to use it(or have idea), only few actually using it.
But now the number of people who have knowledge about it was gradually increasing, maybe after 5-10 years it will be part of common knowledge.

The Bitcoin reputation is slowly up, for now still not a lot of people know about this, but Bitcoin starting make an appearance, a lot of news already ever mention it, YouTube got a lot of Bitcoin video, and some movie also mention about Bitcoin, it is just matter of time people know about Bitcoin and when that time happened we will see a lot of people rush in joining

Out of curiosity due to some comments i have read in this thread, i also asked about it LOL. Just now when we dine in on a restaurant i asked if they are accepting bitcoin, but they don't and the waiter seems a bit puzzled and clueless about what i was talking about.

Lol . I almost tried to ask to some staff from a certain convenience store before if they were accepting bitcoin so that I could pay my stuffs using it, but thn I realized if they are accepting bitcoin they would put some thing as a notice that they are actually accepting that type of mode of payment . Although bitcoin is already legal here in my country, still it is not yet being accepted to some various stores until now .

I feel so sorry for you,you are so very excited to spend your bitcoin,so now you are calling up local stores in your country and interrogating them about bitcoin,and the answer as expected was very poor,bitcoin even after touching 4400$ is not known by most people. But i guess they will get to know in less than a decade,not everybody but most of them. So just hold to your excitement till then.
Majority of people doesn't know yet about bitcoin actually only few in our country know bitcoin though it's getting popular still many are un-aware of it. Maybe because crypto currencies has not given emphasis in the market nowadays. Maybe after few more years bitcoin will get the popularity like other normal currencies have.
Yes many people do not know bitcoin and how important it is that gold is hard to find but when you find that you can think of money immediately. If many people discover bitcoin many changes will happen to the world so it might not be said or released on television and radio. Many banks will fall and many people will make money on bitcoin of course increase the bitcoin price. So it's better to do those who know it but it's not going to be well known by many people and that's the beginning of the change. And if this happens you will prepare for being a millionaire and a good life. So we have a lot of advantages

I don't recommend people doing this because you will just look dumb with them, and it may cost you an awkward situation you won't forget. And why did you ask if they accept Bitcoin in the first place? Payment methods are often shown in their doors or near their cash registrar that is why you will see the Visa and MasterCard sign always near them it means they accept these kind of Payment of Methods.

I have the same situation in my country. But I think that in the future it will change. I think that I will use bitcoin in shops and restaurants very soon. It's unavoidable.
The situation with the popularization of bitcoin can change only when next to the price of item in local currency the price will be in bitcoins. Many people don't understand what bitcoin is and where it can be spent. One conclusion. We need to develop the market.
