There are a many coins you can pick as an investment in this year, as the market has continuously dropped throughout the year, so almost all coins price is quite low now.

For my part, Mimblewimble, and therefore Grin and Beam are the two best projects in crypto anonymous for 2/3 years. And I give a brilliant future to anonymous crypto, it will be one of the biggest markets! New features on anonymity protocols are quite rare things. The last was Zcash / Zcoin and Zclassic, even if it's just a fork without creativity, he was very generous speculatively speaking  . On the other hand, the difference with old projects is that their inflation curve is much higher, so as far as I am concerned, I prefer to buy a little bit every month.

The potential is much greater in terms of Mysticism and decentralization ideal for Grin, but inflation will limit its speculative scope in the medium / long term I think. Whereas for Beam it's an entrepreneurial approach like Zcash / Zcoin, without any real background narrative. The story telling is nonexistent for them. On the other hand their inflation from 5 years (crossing of inflation curve compared to Grin), is an asset since it will tend to favor the speculation on more medium / long term .. one compensating the other, in a way, and at this stage at least.

I don't think anyone will be able to give a sure guarantee of what altcoin is suitable for investment in 2019, because there will be no cryptocurrency price movement that can ever predict it, but to be safer you might be able to buy coins in the order of 1-5 in from the coinmarketcap rank list.

my advice is to buy coins that have been released in the market and my choice remains eth and neo is the second most promising coin for now, both of these coins have good potential and profit, so it is a worthy coin for investment.

I think the altcoin has potential in 2019, for me now ethereum, ripple, litecoin, cardano, ADA and omg, because now market price growth also increases

I kind of agree, at least with those that have high potential. There are plenty of low cap bargains out there right now; the difficult bit is sorting the wheat from the chaff.

Bitcoin is simply the cryptocurrency everybody know about. Many guys that come into the crypto world do not even guess that here, they will meet many great altcoins that are faster, more anonymous and safer (Dash, Monero)

I'm hoping most of them will bring me decent returns either this year or next, whenever the bull run starts.

indeed, I saw yesterday's prices below, and we could buy the coins we hoped for, but for now I see that prices began to increase. so there's our chance to see a bright development. because we will increase our crypto later.

But all these currencies had not been yembak development right now so if you want to invest now a days it will be a big risk for you to get the profit from that so before investment take a long time to decide what you are investing.

BNB good for short trading as a speculative coin. But I dont think that Beam is good investments anyway. Did you see how many new tokens minted every day and how many max supply?
Universa announced mainnet an year ago and still dont have native coins, same as Zilliqa (they announced mainnet launc in last month, but dont have native coins, it looks like a joke). And for example Pchain have much more TPS and going to launch maiinet in March.

The cheaper and less known altcoins will show the better growth. As for my stakes, they are Ontology and Eidoo, KickCoin and Crypterium, Napoleon X, and Credits. Besides it, I'd invest in TRON.
