If Marquez is able to start well it could be that he will be champion today. Then for a good start they will start from grid one and two. It's hard to guess the winner today, but my guess favourites are the three riders who started the lead. If you look at the qualifying results, it looks very yamaha so helpless with the power of the bike. The dominance of large power motors is on grids 1 to 10. Yamaha is only Quartararo the best in 11th position.
If someone wish Quartararo a champion maybe it takes luck. Let's see when we're in a moment, it's currently in the Moto2 race.
Quartararo and Marquez haven't had luck today, both are finished in the 9th and 5th positions, domination is still Ducati and Suzuki. Even though Marquez was in position 2nd position behind Espargaro in the first lap but both can't do until the finish. In another side, a favorite champion, Bagnaia because a crash, get incident with Jorge Martin. in the next race in our country, Mandalika.

We are in the final week ok the F1 test and most of the cars will uncover secrets this week.

The test will be in Bahrain, where the 1st race of the season will take place.
8 hours per day since Thursday.

Also, is it rumored about (already) an irregular car, in this case, Redbull.

The new season of Drive to survive is coming up this week. I am guessing that there will be plenty of things to see that we did not see. It has been one of the most weird seasons ever. I have to say there were decisions made by the officials that decided the winner for sure, but there were decisions made by them for both sides all season long.

Like I would say Hamilton should have gotten a points penalty for that Silverstone accident, whereas he ended up getting the most points, that is the type of thing could be found for both max and Hamilton all throughout the season. Seeing reactions and interviews about that situation will definitely be awesome.

speaking of luck, I agree with the other friends, he knows very well (quartararo) situations that make him see a gap, there are opportunities accompanied by readiness that can make him slowly continue to shoot until the last minute with the best position.
In line with @luzin's response, if the grid 1 and 2 had a big enough opportunity, maybe it would be brilliant, but if on the other hand in that position it can be bulldozed by the middle/bottom grid, maybe the team and fans will question the accuracy of the rider or the performance of his motorcycle engine, especially I can't wait for it to be held

Let's see, maybe he will win but I still doubt, I don't know how the progress of his eye? the doctor said he needs 2 months to recover where today is still not enough month. I am still on Quartararo for this session, even though in 11th position when Yamaha improved the top speed problem, Quartararo will be fast to increase on top race as we can see the last years.
I also believe so for Quartararo, but for Marquez I have seen him as someone who has fully recovered (100%) because if he is still sick, then the related parties or dorna will definitely not allow Marquez to compete in this season or in the opening race this time.
For victory, I also still doubt Marquez in this opening race because he finished third because he was able to take advantage of Sleep Stream through Joan Mir during Qualification.
So it will be different when the real race takes place today.
Quartararo didn't have a good time and he had to start in 11th position. I think it will be very difficult considering the very good performance of Ducati and also Suzuki who have incredible speed on the FP side so I think it is impossible for factory Yamaha to repeat it as successful as last season when racing at the Qatar circuit.

There are less than two weeks to go for the first race weekend to start. And I'm just looking forward to watch this season. Because we have entered a new era in F1 and I really wonder whether we will see different teams rising and fighting for the championship this time. I'm curious about especially Ferrari right now. Because their car seems to be really promising for this season. They still have a little problems though but their speed is really great now according to the pre-season tests.

Last season was the best of many I've seen, as I don't remember seeing a trophy played until the last few minutes of a season. Despite the controversies involved, it was a very electrifying season.

But I agree with you that it would be nice to see new teams on the podium, and I also hope to see Ferrari shine again this year.

Well, I think it would be not that easy to find someone would be worse than Mazepin. He was in the team just because of money from Uralkali. Money stopped flowing and he isn't needed anymore.

Paid drivers always leave a bad taste, and quite apart from the Russia/Putin links, I'm glad he's gone. There are plenty of other more deserving drivers who never get a chance. It would be great to see everyone getting a seat purely on merit, but that's certainly not always been the case in F1, where money talks more than in some other sports.

Starting in 3rd position is not a bad thing for Maquez even though his position is surrounded by Ducati riders because I think Marquez is able to keep up with these riders and will try to put a little pressure on him, the opening of the Qatar race this season is not favorable for Quartararo because he will start the race in 11th place so he has to go the extra mile and not make the slightest mistake to at least be able to finish 7th or 8th.
Did you see last year's Race there ? where Quartararo who also came from behind but was able to finish in front by taking care of everything including tire wear before the race was over.
In general, on paper, Yamaha has not benefited this season, but if their riders can give more in the race, then finishing ahead of the others is still very possible for Yamaha riders.

Not so great performance for Marquez but I think he will win this race and the Mondial pretty easily.
marquez is no stranger to my ears, although from the beginning I prefer to enjoy this race without taking anyone's side, meaning I'm not a fanatic, marquez should have no trouble getting into 3rd position, and this isn't too bad, indeed other friends briefly discussed Fabio Quartararo but it might happen, from the Yamaha camp I am quite familiar with the doctor, even though people know Fabio Quartaro has his own peculiarity and is fierce. I've also heard that at the time of Moto GP 2021, he could make 5 wins and many more. again, I'm sure any position can have the same opportunity.. if you mention marquez can be brilliant I also agree brother

Suzuki, like Yamaha, has an in-line engine and therefore has very similar good handling. But unlike Yamaha, Suzuki has apparently developed the engine better and found some performance in the inline engine technology.
Yamaha is actually still very lacking in terms of top speed and traction this season, but the only thing that must be done by Yamaha riders this season is to start the race very perfectly, which means Yamaha riders must be able to keep the tires in order to keep the timing and rhythm of the race. could go very well for them.

I don't doubt the quality of the Ducati, in qualifying which will start soon I focus on the declining performance of the Yamaha, they are usually very fast when racing at the Qatar circuit but this is different this year after I saw in FP3 what has happened, Yamaha's Fabio Quartararo stuck at position 11.
Fabio Quartararo will also start the race on the 11th grid at Lusail Qatar later and he himself said he will try to make a 100% push to the bike because in general the Yamaha has suffered a lot this season although in terms of wins, Yamaha is very much there.

Quartararo has not shown a good performance from FP to Qualification, I think it will be difficult for him to be able to compete in the front row during the race, moreover he will start from 11th position.

in my opinion there are no more problems with marquez's health, if he still has problems with his eyes I think it is impossible for him to get 3rd fastest time in qualifying.

In the FP session, I saw that Suzuki had the best speed and timing, but that was not shown in the qualifying session, instead it was the Ducati rider who became the fastest racer 1 and 2 in the qualification.
in the Race which will be held in a few hours I think Ducati will still dominate the front row and maybe Marquez will try to match him and if there is a surprise I think it will be from Suzuki.

The problem with Uralkali being kicked of the sponsorship from Haas is that Haas was already not a financially great team. They literally got 2 drivers who would allow them to get the most money possible, and one sponsor literally just to race Mzepin.

Now, Uralkali is gone and Mazepin is gone as well. They have zero budget left, they need to find a great sponsor now, and it is going to be horribly difficult as well. It means that they are going to once again race with one leg tied behind themselves against everyone else. Don't get me wrong Mazepin was bad but not like they are going to get Hamilton instead of him, they will probably get Fittipaldi and he is not that good neither. This is going to end in horrible result for Haas for sure.

Even with Uralkali money they were by far weakest team on the grid. Now things won't become better. Well, maybe now Gene Haas will change his mind and will agree to sell team to Andretti.
Fittipaldi is most likely replacement, but I think Giovinazzi is possible too. Any way, maybe we will get chance to compare Shumacher results with decent driver

Who do you guys think would most likely win at Qatar?  I'm not really into MotoGP but I'm looking into learning more and betting small every now and then.  Lol.

Anyway, is this guy Marc Marquez a lock to win or is it 50/50 between him and Jorge Martin if they went head to head?
