Very strong performance from Mercedes and the new engine, the change of the internal combustion engine had paid off, Mercedes was clearly stronger in performance today. The next races will be exciting.

100% true. Mercedes really looked like in another league today in comparison to the other teams, including Red Bull. When Hamilton pushed he could easily drive 0,5 seconds faster per round then a Verstappen that also pushed. So the engine really made a huge difference today and i think that mercedes did not even have to fully unlock their whole engine power today. The overtaking of Verstappen by Hamilton looked extremely easy with the triple combo of a way stronger engine, slipstream and DRS on top. If the new engine is really that much stronger then the one before as it looked today, then i think Hamilton is the favorite for the rest of the races of this season and therefore also for the Championship.. again.

Well deserved Lewis win. He had amazing pace in this track. Even pushing Hamilton out of track, waving on straight didn't helped for Verstappen. 3 races remaining and I think that gap between Lewis and Hamilton doesn't mean almost anything.
Bottas had poor start today, but he managed to bring podium for Mercedes. While Perez managed to take fastest lap from Lewis and even 1 points matters much in constructors championship.
Solid race for both Ferrari and they  already made big gap from Mclaren.

Max...I'm losing respect for this guy with every racing day that we have.

Yeah, I don't have much respect for him either. He's certainly fast, but his attitude needs a lot of work. Particularly forcing people (okay, one person) off the track over and over again, race after race. I do think he will be world champion this year, and he's a very fast driver, and if you have two fast drivers going head to head you do want to see them race hard, as both Hamilton and Verstappen do, unlike Bottas who just backs off. But the problem is Max takes it too far, if he thinks he's going to lose a position he'll try to take the other car out.

Amazing drive from Hamilton and a well deserved victory from him and Mercedes!

Max...I'm losing respect for this guy with every racing day that we have. He is cocky , arrogant and he already see himself a world champion ...like calm down little guy , as for now , you have 0 titles and a lot to show up in F1 until you get the respect that you deserve. I'm surprised that he didn't call anyone idiot when Hamilton pass him.

I hope that Hamilton will win the next 2 races and he will become 8th world champion like he deserves.

All the last three tracks clearly favors Mercedes engine and it is only them who can lose this Championship, that 14 point difference right now means nothing, tons of straight lines in Qatar and Abu Dhabi and I don't know but I think the same of Saudi Arabia. It is Redbull who has to fight really hard and have a huge luck on their side in order for them to win this.Lastly superb drive from Hamilton I thought max he could go would be the 3rd place knowing where he started but this was a really great race.

14 plus 11 plus 21 equals 46 and this number is very precise when added to 46 and this number is very precise with the number of his motorcycle during his time as a racer, either by chance or planned because this is the last race Valentino Rossi will be held at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia.
The race ended and Ducati's Francesco Bagnaia won the 2021 Valencia MotoGP after beating Jorge Martin and Valentino Rossi to finish in 10th place.

I'm sad because this is Valentino Rossi's last race in MotoGP Cry

Rossi doesn't regret only finishing 10th because from the start he had prepared it

he is a very charismatic Moto GP legend and will not be replaced by any other moto GP racer, goodbye Rossi 46

Hamilton takes the lead, this is crazy. Verstappen forgot to force him off the track that time - he wouldn't have been penalised for it, as he wasn't a few laps ago, so weird he didn't try it. The FIA will be fuming... can they find some way to disqualify Hamilton?

Dropping the sarcasm for a sec, superb weekend from Hamilton so far... but of course we must remember he has a new engine, which does always give some advantage. Even if he wins this, Max is the overwhelming favourite for the title this season, but Lewis has done all he could.

What is very unique in today's race is the combination of date, month and year so that it can give birth to the number 46 which is a very interesting thing for a retirement event for the legendary Valentino Rossi, who has been wearing the number 46 for a long time.

It is finally the race day! I must admit one fact that I didn't like the previous sprint races. They were quite boring. But the one in Brazil yesterday was just fabulous. The start was great as Bottas had a great start and overtook Verstappen before the end of the straight already. And it was not the only incident. Sainz also had a superb start by overtaking Perez quickly. And a little time after it, he overtook Verstappen too but Verstappen took his place back from him in a short period of time. And the reason why I liked the sprint race most was Hamilton's insane effort of course. He climbed 15 places which was amazing to watch. If there were a few more laps, he would even overtake Perez and Sainz also. He really wants to get a good result in this race and he is aiming to even winning it undoubtedly.

I agree. This was the best sprint race so far that didn't get boring after 10 laps and the fact that Sainz got a better start than Max made the race even more enjoyable but I must say that Max looked that he held back at some point at he had better tyres and a faster car to overtake Bottas but he preferred to keep the interior line on the first corner which might be the wise one.

Hamilton will surely give 200% from himself and I think he will finish on podium or maybe a victory but depends on the start or how many safety cars we will have.

Hamilton did a great job yesterday and will start 10th today giving him only a slim chance to end the race in a position before Verstappen but that is what will make this race beautiful to watch today.I would bet on Hamilton in the top three as the odd for him in a podium where Bottas,Verstappen and Perez will start way ahead of him should have a good odd and it will make the race more interesting to follow.

Life, Love and Laughter...
^  So that’s it?  That’s so disappointing.  I was hoping for the whole thing to go to the wire with the champion decided til the last race.

Me too. It's weird, they're perfectly aware of what this punishment means, and by doing this they've now made the remaining races this season largely meaningless. I bet the authorities in Qatar etc for the last few races are furious.

Maybe something crazy could happen in this race to mean it's not all over, but realistically it would have to be a DNF for Max, combined with Lewis somehow carving his way through the whole field. I don't like a DNF for anyone, but I'm kind of hoping for one for Max just to keep this season going.

And what of the constructor’s championship?  That one is pretty close.  I think Merc could still save that one.

Yeah, maybe. It's less important though. I mean, if (when) Max gets the drivers title, then everyone knows that Red Bull are the real champions, regardless of who wins the constructors.

The constructor’s championship would depend on Perez now.  RBR would’ve been way ahead if he could finish the races a place or a couple of places behind Verstappen consistently.

It was actually a superb recovery drive from Hamilton. I didn't think it would be possible for anyone to make up so many positions in so few laps. But the fact remains that Verstappen has now extended his championship lead slightly, and he is all but guaranteed to finish ahead of Hamilton in the main race. I do think the only way the championship can realistically remain open is if Verstappen doesn't finish the race.

This week MotoGP Valencia will be held, as the closing series for MotoGP 2021. Because the MotoGP world champion in 2021 has been locked by Quartararo (Yamaha) I think Nothing is interesting in this series, except Rossi last race and Rossi's farewell moment.
This it's a special day for him and the fans, I can't wait to watch and hopefully there will be a surprising moment in this race.
Grazie, Vale!
In this week's race there are three highly anticipated moments, including:
1. Moto2 World Champion (Although Remy Gardner has more chances).
2. Valentino Rossi's farewell moment that has been prepared so well by Dorna and its fans includes attributes designed specifically for Valentino Rossi.
3. Rookie of the year Champion title in an independent team (MotoGp) with the fight of Jorge Martin and Enea Bastianini

Indeed, during the race there was some feeling that Verstappen avoided unnecessary risk. It seems that a little contact with Sainz and going off the track further forced Verstappen to act with more caution. The sprint race was relatively successful for Hamilton and he was able to get close to the leaders, where Sainz from Ferrari, who took third place, intervened among the traditional rivals from Red Bull and Mercedes. Sainz, like Bottas, took a risk and put the tires soft, which allowed them not only to get ahead at the start, but also to take higher places in the end, despite the persecution by Perez and Verstappen, respectively. Disqualification in qualifying cost Hamilton dearly, but it will be all the more interesting to see how Lewis will make his way from tenth place, given the Briton's fresh engine.

Honestly, I never expected a this much enjoyable sprint race today. If I'm not wrong, we had two sprint races so far before this one. And none of them was even a little exciting. Actually, Alonso was really good in one of them but anyway.  Grin  This one was pretty amusing thanks to Hamilton especially. As you can remember easily, he got a huge penalty as he was going to start from the last position to the sprint race and he got a 5-position grid penalty as an extra. But his determinance in the sprint race was just marvelous to watch. He climbed positions one by one and finished the session at the 5th position. It looks like a really interesting race is waiting for us. The current gap between him and Verstappen is 21 points now.

It's strange to say that, but Bottas had very good start today. Well, he will have to repeat something similar tomorrow
What a pace from Hamilton. From P20 to P5 just in 24 laps is something serious. With penalty he will have to start in P10, what is not bad at all, considering everything. I think it's way too early to talk that championship winner is already decided.
Like it or not.
Lewis Hamilton today was a rocket on four wheels.. we had fun in an indescribable way.. and he cannot be excluded from winning tomorrow in the race that I expect will be the most beautiful race of the entire season.

Not easy for him, he got a lot of pressure on the last week.
This week was a lot easier without Hamilton close to him. Without having your teammate near and the pressure to leave him the space ASAP is a big advantage for his mental state.

Red tires were quite good on Sainz too.

What about Perez don't be able to pass the Ferrari?

Another overvalued driver who needs to thank god to be in Redbull.
