He has not been treated like no 1 from some time now. In the incidents between the team , the team have always sided by Max Verstappen and I think rightly so. The reason is that no one can deny that max is a very young and very talented driver and Red Bull sees him as their future. Even when they will make the car for next year it will be made based on Max advice and not that of Ricciardo.

This might be one of the reasons why Daniel Ricciardo left Redbull hehehe. The team is marketing Max, not Daniel.

His position as the no. 1 driver is clearly threatened by Max, or he might not be treated as the no. 1 anymore. I reckon it is more possible that he is beginning to see that he is not being treated like the no. 1 driver anymore.

While F1 is more boring than MotoGP in terms of overtakes after 1 hour it starts the race of Aragon. It is a good thing for competition that the 2 Ducati-s are in front row together. Marquez being third is another bonus and is a guaranteed thing that we will see a lot of action and overtaking during this race today.

What F1 needs to change is the way cars are made, in early days in the 90 we have seen a lot of action because the driver was making a difference, now the car is making one and has become boring.

The era of Michael Schumacher was the most boring era to watch F1 races during that time. Every thing was pro Ferrari at that time and it was easy for Schumacher to win without any real rivalry. In the year 2005-2006 where F.Alonso showed some real rivalry and Renault at that time did big improvements, it was the time when F1 was good to watch again on TV. That was also the end of the era of M.Schumacher and Ferrari as they only won once more with Raikkonen in 2007 but not because of Raikkonen bravery rather because Hamilton and Alonso were fighting each other more than the others.

Nowadays the F1 is not as boring as in the Schumacher era to watch but still it is a bit more boring compared to MotoGP, but that has always been the case. At least the F1 Championship is still open , with Hamilton having more chances to win it. Last race on Singapore was a beautiful one to watch.

I partially disagree here Schumacher era was not boring, I have always been thrilled to see him race week after week and win it. I'll agree with you he had little or no competition boils down to the fact that other cars barely made any significant investments, politics connections also played a role. While this season technically would be boring in your words as Hamilton has won it all, barring few races. I really wish Ferrari sign Hamilton to get their glory days back.

Agreed. It might be more possible for Lewis to go to Ferrari to partner with Sebastian than Mercedes signing 2 star drivers hehe. I reckon Ferrari has done it before.

very dificult if ferari can get lewis hamilton
i think is not not competitive in season 2019 if ferari driver hamilton and vettel
is good if ferari get vestapen or Daniel Ricciardo

@slocker. I reckon that time during Michael Schumacher, Ferrari rebuilt their team then, from year 2000, had the engine advantage, the technical advantage, the financial advantage and the political advantage. Yes, formula 1 is full of politics that include proposing rules that would give a team the advantage for a whole season.

Also, they had Ross Brawn as their technical director.

Yes i know on this but they didnt made mistakes like they make them now. My point was on that. Shame to see but this is how thing are working in moto sport world sadly. Also McLaren was good team one of the best in that 2000 era but but cals made them struggle for some point at least one in race, shame for them.

Sorry to mentioning something but dont remember that Ferrari made this mistakes when Schumacher was driving for them. Correct me if Im wrong on this but seem like they lose the edge or they are playing on card of fame from past years.

@Juggy777. However the engineers, the pit crew and all the rest in a formula 1 team also have an influence on a driver's race performance. If Lewis and Sebastian were on opposite teams this season, then Sebastian would be 40 points or more ahead of Lewis, I reckon.

In any case, I feel sorry for Sebastian. It is another season of hardwork but no prize.

Hamilton won Singapore GP easily. I think it can be one of crucial races in this season. Now he 40 points ahead of Vettel and only 6 races remain.
Ferarri just screwed up with their strategy again. I have no idea why they selected ultrasoft tyres for Vettel on pitstop, he had no chances to win with these tyres.
And wtf Perez were doing - first he pushed Occon of the track and later he unbeleavable stupid colided with Sirotkin. I think he had to get black flag or 1 race ban at least.

I don't think there's any title race left and Ferrari have themselves to blame for this. Hamilton has been truly amazing this season, and it makes me think what if he were racing a ferrari, that speed and Hamilton would be a delight for all the fans. Well Perez just got lucky, these days they don't apply rules that harshly. I'm expecting Hamilton to win most of the remaining 6 races what do you'll think.

Read something interesting it seem like Schumacher son will be joining formula 1 in team Sauber if he finish in top 3 spot in formula 3. Dont know if this is true or not but this isnt the first time his name is mentioned in F1. If this comes to be true hopefully he will be half the talent as his father.

@Juggy777. It might be a gamble, but it might also be the right time to give this young Ferrari academy driver an opportunity, I reckon. Sebastian might leave after another contract extension, and hiring another experienced driver, besides Lewis, might also be a gamble. Who there is left?

Also, a Max Verstappen versus Charles Leclerc excitement will be good for this sport.

Mercedes should also leave Valterri and give Esteban Ocon an opportunity hehehe. 3 young drivers in 3 top teams.

Ferarri and Sauber announced today that Kimi will leave Ferarri after end of this season and will join Sauber. Leclerc will replace Kimi in Ferarri.
What do you think about it? Personally, I think that it's a bit to early for Leclerc to be in Ferarri, he don't have experience. I don't think that he can bring same amount of points as Kimi does.
I'm not fan of Ferarri and Kimi, but I would like to see him winning a race before he will leave Ferarri...

Well Ferrari is known to make mistakes when picking drivers in the past or they have good drivers and dont have good car or is it opposite. In any case this may be one of those mistakes. Kimi is experienced driver but its not that Kimi so from this angle maybe they made a good call.

I have to say I was hoping to hear Hamilton come to Ferrari than Leclerc lol, well Kimi exit was bound to happen it was only a matter of time. I'll agree I think Ferrari are taking bit of gamble by getting Leclerc in, considering the way Mercedes are racing ahead, I too would have expected someone more experienced. It'll be difficult for kimi to win, cause Ferrari will prioritise Vettle winning it.

So if this correct Ferrari wont continue with Kimi they will use young Leclerc, maybe best move for Ferrari in long time so far. Also another thing didnt look for some additional info about it is it true that this is last season for Alonso.

Confirmed that Leclerc is going to Ferrari and that Kimi is going to Sauber Shocked

I'm just glad that we still have another couple of years with the iceman
