Lorenzo could finally win his first race this year but exaggerated and fell.
An important victory for Marquez, which proves to be stronger than Dovizioso and Vinales.
Disappointing Pedrosa who with this bad race is definitely out of the games for the victory of the world championship.

Am I the one and only guy thinks that Max's aggresive ride is nice for the eye but deadly for his F1 car?

Yeah and congratulations for Lewis, imo he will be a monster till the end of the F1 2017 season.

I think lewis hamilton not monster driver in formula one
hamilton is good performance because car is good, above another team, maybe this now only ferari can compete with mercedes

We need people like Max to make the races more exciting. Sometimes, some tracks get really boring and it just comes to the pilot fighting himself, not doing any mistakes, and keeping it really low on the risk taking.

Drivers like Max or former driver Montoya were always taking risks and believed in impossible things. Sometimes they can do it and the people will remember them. A lot of people still has Montoya as their favorite pilot.
Going through your opinion we need guys like Maldonado in F1  Grin Grin Grin For me boring is that 90% of races was won by Mercedes or Ferrari driver Smiley

Pastor Maldonado is not really that good for formula 1. He is only a pay driver who needs to offer money to help fund a team to get a driver's seat. He is also old now at 32 years old.

I reckon a big team like Mercedes should give youngsters like Pascal Wehrlein a chance because they will be the future of the sport.

This week there is the motogp with San Marino GP (Misano).
Unfortunately Valentino Rossi will not be there but could come back from next GP at Aragon (24 September) rather than Motegi (October 15). He could have won here and instead with 0 points he will almost certainly be out of the world championship games.
The fight is at 3: Dovizioso, Vinales, Marquez

Hamilton got this.  It's pretty clear now that Merc has the technical advantage.  They're still way ahead of the pack in tech and they still have the best engine.  We'll see Ferrari start falling behind in points now and it doesn't look like that champ will be decided in the final race of the season, barring Mercedes mishaps.

Sorry Vettel fans.  Sad

Incredible comeback for Ricciardo (4th)

It is a track which is run 85% at full throttle so winning from Mercedes was widely expected. They , the media do a lot of hype about Ferrari how good they are progressing this year but in fact I don't see any progress from them, I only see Mercedes making bad decisions in the beginning races of this season. Now everything fits the puzzle, Ferrari and everyone will continue to struggle and Mercedes will keep on winning everything. That's why F1 is super boring compared to MotoGP.

I didn't manage to watch the race but looks like I didn't miss anything out of the ordinary. The expect top5 is there, no upsets. Esteban Ocon at number 6th is pretty surprising. He is only 21, maybe he gets promoted into a better team if he keeps performing.

Alonso abandoned once again with a problem in the shifter. He abandoned so he could get a new shifter in Singapur. The nightmare continues.

Max Verstappen's woes continued in the Red Bull. He was clipped by Massa and had a puncture on his front-right tire; it meant he spent a substantial spell in the pits, effectively ending his chances of a podium finish.

After the second round of pitstops, Ricciardo emerged in fifth position after a long run, behind Raikkonen and Vettel. It didn't take him long to get past the Finn, as he leapt ahead of Raikkonen into fourth from a long way back at Turn 1. Superb driving by Ricciardo.

Yes, what a performance by the Mercedes team. While they’ progress to the top two places in the race was largely processional after Bottas had risen to P2 in the opening laps, the race was enlivened by the performance of Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo who rose from 16th on the grid to claim fourth place at the flag.

Was kinda hoping that race forecast would have been rain, especially to see what Lance Stroll could have done at actual wet race condition.

He held his own this race, giving way to far superior car setups.

It is a good time to bet on Sebastian in Monza. I reckon that Ferrari will do something more and try to win harder for their home race. They also cannot have Lewis get the lead in the championship.

My prediction, Sebastian will take FP3 and pole position in qualifying.

Today it rains a lot at Monza and surely the pole position will be wet, in the fp3 all pilots are using full wet.
Rain can make the pole position unpredictable

This is why I said the most skilled pilots can take high-risk/high-reward strategies and try to beat the pilots that may have better cars but not as skilled in the rain. If we can have a clean start we can have a great race of strategy and endurance, because trying to keep your car on the track with heavy rain is a nightmare. If the rain is not too hardcore, it may not make that much a difference tho, because of the modern technology allowing cars to be glued into the track even in harsh circumstances. Back then during V10 and V8 times the cars were way harder to control, so we are going to need some serious rain to put them in trouble.

My prediction, Sebastian will take FP3 and pole position in qualifying.

Today it rains a lot at Monza and surely the pole position will be wet, in the fp3 all pilots are using full wet.
Rain can make the pole position unpredictable

It's going to be a good day for Alonso to try to pull some impossible feats. In rainy days Alonso is one of the best ever, and a rainy Monza could allow for some overtakes, and potentially some chaos could happen in the first spots that other could take advantage of, so either Hamilton or Vettel may not finish the race.
