Lol_Ferrari.  I think they hate Verstappen so much that they were willing to risk crashing out of the race by being really aggressive vs him.  It's like both Vettel and Raikonen wanted to squeeze him out.

Hamilton is now up by 28 points or so...
But Verstappen moved into side of Raikkonen to block him and Kimi didn't had enough place. But I can't understand why Vettel risked so much to squeeze Max. And despite great start, Alonso appeared on first corner at very wrong time...
I think it was crucial race in fight for championship. Ferrari had to win easily today. There are no more tracks left, where Ferrari will have big advantage. Now Vettel in very complicated situation.

Amazing pole position for Vettel with the new track record! he can win and earn so many points on Hamilton
2 Red Bulls look very strong on this track.
Raikkonen may slow Hamilton, while Bottas is the worst among the top 6 drivers.

No one should miss the very start of the race when they release Sebastian and Max Verstappen in the front row. I reckon this is the first time that we have a Ferrari versus Redbull in 1st and 2nd places on the grid. This is a godsend for those people who are already becoming bored with the season.

Vettel did it. I didnt believe him for pole position. I was thinking one of the Red Bull drivers will have pole. Red Bull was the fastest whole the weekend. It will be very exciting GP tomorrow. Of course with some safety car here in Singapore. I think Red Bull will win this race.

great time for Ricciardo with the record of the track!
Red Bull can win here.
Ferrari today is far away, will it be just pretactic?

First 2 practice runs does not really show us anything. They are tests on the car's balance and reliability and the drivers do not push and go as fast as they can.

Ferrari might have small problems but let us wait for the 3rd practice. I reckon we can judge where they will be in qualifying after it.

They will have problems here cuz this track Is more  for Mercedes drivers rather then Ferrari,  here will red Bull drivers might surprise us all and might take pole or even race.

Singapore GP is great track for Ferrari and if Vettel want to stay in fight for championship, he must win.
And Mercedes before race weekend extended contract with Bottas. He shows good and stable results and this what Mercedes need.
Important news for McLaren. According to Autosport.com, McLaren reached agreement with Honda to be released from their partnership and switch to Renault engines.

I hope that next season Mclaren will be able to reach finnish and fight higher positions. It's shame to see what is happening to this legendary team in last and this seasons.

That is the best news that has come out from McClaren since the beginning of the season. But who will their new engine partner be next year?

Renault? They are having their own problems too. Redbull has been blaming them for being unreliable during races.

Mercedes? Are they willing to use a weaker version of the fastest engine in Formula 1?

What about Fernando Alonso? Will he stay or go?

McLaren planning to use Renault engines. And Alonso still didn't decided, he will stay or not.
And Toro Rosso signed deal with Honda to use their engines. In future, Red Bull also can use Honda engines, if Toro Rosso will show good results.

It depends a lot on how things are going to develop in the following months. It's clear that Alonso is a top3 driver and is underperforming due the insanely crappy car that he has the unfortunate to be driving with his current team.

It all comes down to what teams give him a chance for the next season. The problem with top world champions is that teams don't want two world champions on the same team, usually they have a world champion and a newcomer or a guy that's not that good so they don't have dangerous situations like we saw with Hamilton vs Alonso era in McClaren.

@LTU_btc. Redbull to use Honda engines? I think not. Honda has not yet proven itself as a reliable engine manufacturer. It is best for their team to stick to the proven Renault engines.

They had 4 championship years in the past. I reckon Adrian Newey's chassis design is not good this year.

Now watching on tv free practice at the moment, and there are talks that will be announced on next race for all teams mentioned. True is that RB and TR wants Honda engines, and that McLaren want Renault engines, and Alonso is still mistery, maybe he will go in Indy championship this is also option for him, BTW this new look on Formula 1 cars for driver safety look like crap for me. Next upgrade ill be probably close cockpit and them it will not be Formula 1 anymore.

It's another race weekend ladies and gentlemen, but I got kinda bored with F1 when the football season kicked off.  But I'm back and excited as ever.  Will we see Vettel fight back or will Hamilton slowly solidify his lead?

And btw...  Porsche bought RBR and will become a works team building its own engine?  YES PLEASE!  Grin

Vettel can win and return to first place in the world championship!
This track is similar to the MonteCarlo GP and the Hungarian GP, in those 2 gp Ferrari dominated.
Even Red Bulls can do a good GP and can "steal" points at Hamilton.

Am I the one and only guy thinks that Max's aggresive ride is nice for the eye but deadly for his F1 car?

Yeah and congratulations for Lewis, imo he will be a monster till the end of the F1 2017 season.

I think lewis hamilton not monster driver in formula one
hamilton is good performance because car is good, above another team, maybe this now only ferari can compete with mercedes

The car is too much of a deciding factor in Formula 1. I used to always watch the races but it's reaching a point where it's just 90% car and 10% pilot.

One of the best pilots in the current rooster or I might say the best active pilot is Fernando Alonso and his career is stuck in the mud due an unlucky car. If FA had a killer car he would be the new Michael Schumacher.

In Motogp next year there will be 19 Gp instead of the current 18 Gp.
The new entry is the Gp of Thailand (Chang International Circuit).
This new Gp will probably be in October

In 2019 there will also be a Gp in Finland (KimyRing Circuit).
