@cicciobtc. But if Sebastian Vettel gets 1st place in qualifying it will make it more clear for Ferrari win. Do not forget the stricter rules imposed by the FIA on oil burning during qualifying that was giving Mercedes the advantage at every Q3.

i agree with you, but also agree with what cicciobtc has written. Belgium Spa is very good for Mercedes. And I think one of the couple of mercedes drivers, Hamilton or Bottas, will win this race. But also I hope ferrari drives will make it difficult.

Life, Love and Laughter...
I had to rub my eyes to see if it's really true.  It's finally an F1 weekend!  Now I don't know what to watch this weekend as the schedule is packed with football games and F1.  And there's also the dog and pony show between May and Mac.  It will be a good weekend.  Grin

This week there is the F1 at Spa, and the MotoGp at Silverstone!
In f1 Hamilton is the big favorite (it's a good track for the Mercedes).
In Motogp maybe it is the last chance for the 2 Yamaha to reduce the gap from Marquez. The race could be wet!

Today Raikkonen (37 years old) has renewed for another year his contract with Ferrari. He deserved the renewal in budapest gp helping Vettel win that Gp.

he should win in budapest. but ... ok .. so new contract only for one year furthermore ... he retained by ferrari for 2018

Ferrari is keeping him as a second driver from quite a few years now. Shame on Raikkonen for finishing like that , when he was at Mclaren he won quite some races and he was not treated like that, he never got order from the team, a common thing in Ferrari, that's why I am not a fan of them. I don't like team orders.

Anyway happy birthday to him, I remember good times from him when he was driving for Mclaren.

Formula 1 is getting boring now that the end of the season is fast approaching. Nico Rosberg has the championship in the bag unless something happens to his car or a huge driver error occurs. I wish it was 2017 season already and I hope McClaren and Ferrari improve their cars enough to be competitive in the constructors championship.  Grin

Marc Marquez is too low there, but I suspect that he will pass everyone in the track. When he doesn't qualify with a top3 he always manages to pass a ton of people like Valentino Rossi. I think Marc Marquez will become the next Angel Nieto. He still very young, and he can reach 13 world champions if he keeps trying. He already has 5 and he is only 24. Maybe he can even surpass Ago, but he would need to win 11 more titles.

The Ducati dominated last year so they should be favorite.
Lorenzo can finally make a leading run, while Dovizioso can retrieve points on Marquez.

Today was a boring race at Circuit of Brno in Czech Republic. Rossi as always failed to go change the bike within the same time as his contender for the race. Fortune is with the bolds and this time I see this saying in practice. In my country we say "Gara bagnata, gara fortunate" which means "Wet race, luck race" but this time this saying for Rossi was "Gara bagnata, gara sfortunata" meaning "Wet race, unlucky race".

Still the championship is wide open with plenty more races to go.

because marques the best in replace tire
after all rider pitstop and replace tire, marques leading with defeat 18 second, so very boring this race. without over take winner in brno

He truly is.  He did it again change in the right moment and again won like last year.
Can't believe that Yamaha made same mistake again.

It was not only Yamaha fault, it was both Rossi and Yamaha fault. If Rossi would have gone in to change the tire at least 2 laps before he did, he would have had a chance to have a go at the win of the race. He has done this mistake a lot of times by not changing bike when needed, and this is the only minus in the career of "The Doctor".

Valentino Rossi made an incredible comeback coming fourth. He had to fight for the win but his team made a big mistake while waiting for too many laps. These lost points might be decisive.

OK he made good in race but when will he made first move. He is good driver but he needs to take more risks.

Unfortunately this time his team made so many mistakes. He took great risks by making a crazy comeback with so many overtakings. Right now he is in a good shape and looks the only one that can undermine Marquez.
