Those influencers are gone they are not effective any more people are smarter now they do their own research no need to listen to these influencers that only care about money promoting scam coins as long as they earned money. Last time I know its only 2017 when there is bullrun they abuse the situation creating some fake hype of a certain project and where are they now? Gone.

Still, they work.

For the popular personalities in the crypto space, whenever they say something bullish, the bullish people will also be encouraged. Like the words of Binance CEO and also the other bullish personalities, they do affect the emotion of the other people.

But it doesn't mean that they move the market so quickly and with every word they say, the market is moving up - nope it doesn't work like that.

Absolutely. This is why a lot of projects pay more famous people including influencers just to talk about their service, and why things like social media campaigns, signature campaigns and bounty campaigns in general exist- because word of mouth is a great way to get the news out about a site or service you're offering.

People are definitely more cautious about what to invest in especially with the large volatility we've been seeing recently, but these things can still have an impact especially on smaller-cap coins.

Yes dear. That definitely happens and that is why there is great value of all these media personalities and influencers. Even social media influencers who have decent following charge good money for endorsement or promotion of a project, product or a coin and companies do pay them because people do listen to these influencers.

of course. Vitalik Buterin is the first who comes to my mind. everything that the Vitalik will say about ETH will have a strong impact on the project. The community of this project is very responsive to his words. CZ is also one of the most influential figures in this market.

Perhaps i have a different personality, but anyone can say whatever suits them, anyone can mouth as they want and it won't move me.

I am moved by conclusions from my research works, and also from my trade and investment principles.

Do not listen or follow influencers or signals, this is crypto currency, always do your own research

Gone are those days where some well known person will talk about a coin or even advice people to hold and the price will shot for the sky, this things to work anymore in crypto space today, the last time I witnessed such was in 2018

The market has become what it should be. Previously, people did not know anything about cryptocurrency, you could say anything, choose any coin, and against the background of plentiful cash pouring into it, it grew and showed a great profit. But then everything began to fall, and a similar strategy stopped working. And those who PR these coins were watered with dirt by community.
But people themselves are to blame for being led by their own illusions.

People have learned from their past mistakes. This is because such influencer has been cheating investors by promoting various scam ICO's. Now people don't trust them anymore. Their words do not affect the market. So no one will listen to them anymore. People are smart enough now, they know where to invest.

Words are very powerful, not only in the crypto space, most especially when the word of such a person is held in high esteem. We once had so many of them in the space and some are still to an extent relevant, most especially to their fans.
The reason we do not see much of it happen these days is that the eyes of lots of crypto enthusiasts are now opened. They can now see reality. They know the truth and are hardly deceived.
It might still work wonderfully (the mouth), but the extent to which it does that has reduced. People now want to see what is working or something that works.

Most of the so called influencial people in the space soiled their names during the ICO boom, promoting any shit coin, and then dump on investors. Who in the world would again believe such a person. I think people need to stop looking up to someone to tell them want to do, which coin would pump because you will get hurt in the end. Do you own research and be well position for future price pump

You only talk about words that hold great volume. What about those that bring down the volume of the market? In crypto news sells faster than products even. Whether its a good or bad news, sometimes it doesn't have to come from an influencer, it either makes or mar the project.

John McAfee already admitted this way back 2018 where he openly said that he charged projects 105,000$ per Tweet to pump their crypto project which works. So I say it definitely works as highly influential people can really make some kind of hype surrounding on what they have mentioned other than that maybe traders are always waiting for what they are saying just to get a little few gains in the market. It will always revolve us around this two on how we are able to react on what highly influential people are saying.

When i mean mouth work wonders in the crypto space, i mean we have selected few crypto leaders, or ceos whose word are held in high regard and can definitely push up the price of certain altcoins if mentioned.

It also applies to project that can be bullish with their words and products, it generates a natural hype that can push up prices of any altcoins in the crypto sphere.

Do you think the same ? or have examples of such ceos or influencers whose words hodl great volume ?

That used to be the norm but not any more investors are now looking for the potential of the platform, not who is promoting the platform, we all know in the past these developers paid a hefty amount and of money to popular promoters, but after getting nothing from these projects, investors are wiser now, they want legit project, not names.

I'm not thinking it is only ceos that have the verbal prowess to make a coin bull or bear, even social media gurus and bloggers can do the because fud is what it is. For instance a Twitter account hodler with followers over $100,000 crypto enthusiast has the power also to mouth what a developer or token CEO can do with fud or bull in the crypto space.

It was in  2017 and 2018 ,mouth was the order of the day, when some top guys in crypto mentions any coin, the next thing you will see is FOMO, people or investors will start buying till it got to a point when it didn't make meaning any more, but presently I think there are some exchanges that could also make people invest in a coin if a coin will be listed there, like binance exchange.

I think it is a strategy that must be done in developing and promoting their coins so that investors are interested. sweet words and promising great profits are what they always use. This is not a scam, but is often damaged by some irresponsible people by running off project funds. more and more people are interested in sweet words, there will be a spike in transactions resulting in bulls at the end.

Strong personnels can bring good impact on a new project but not like in the past, years ago an advisor can bring new changes Toba project if he or she is well known, this things have no good effect anymore, now people are more interested in real use cases

Because people already learned their lessons well. Even if it is endorsed by well known personality, there's no guarantee that it will be a success or will keep its market alive. Usually, the hype is only at the beginning, and couple of months, it will die down if there's really no application for the project. Just mere hype or fud surrounding the project will not make it alive in crypto.

Can you explain what the ceos mean?

The best way to make the project develop is promotion and its the project function. If you have both of them you will get a lot of thing from the project.

You will feel deprived when the project that you build is have a good function but you don't have someone or how the promotion strategy work. And otherwise, when you have someone which can be trusted to promote the project and he has a lot of fans on him/herself but you don't have a good function in your project then the project will end in shitcoin. You will find these projects on this industry, and also I see a few people who have a lot of fans and he tried to make a coin but at the end the project is useless.

What names? Who?

I do believe in some people's opinion specially here in this forum.
There are a lot of wise one here who can really give some crazy advises and also move some people with their good analysis.

But when it comes to outside this forum like twitter, or other social media name then it's a no for me.
I would rather be here talking with people which knows about what they are saying rather than those wannabe's outside.
