Recently I've watched USA version of Oldboy. It's quite fun (especially the first fight). The movie has its flaws, but there is a twist thats alone a good enough reason to watch the movie

"Memento" was very good, "some likes it hot" is an excellent old movie

Memento is super good.  You definitely have to be in the mood to think though, or you will get lost so fast...

I recommend everyone see Pan's Labyrinth. That movie is beast!

What do you mean 'beast'?

I mean it is a very good movie. It's an American thing. Sorry about that.

I'm american and I've never heard anyone say 'beast' before lol.

You're a strange American. Beast is a common word in such cases Smiley

America is pretty large country. I doubt  all states have the same slang

Beast is like "dope". I have heard it more commonly used to describe athletes who dominate (like Lebron James).

Over here 'beast' tends to describe a ghastly woman haha. She was a beast.

Lol. I've heard hambeast before  Cheesy

Oh yeah, I have heard it used in that context before too lol.

speaking of westerns.. back to the future!

Hello Macfly! Back to the future 2 was my favorite one

same as well. #2 is best, then #1, then #3.

Biff was the best! "2 Macflys with the same gun!"

I believe it was 2 & 3 that were filmed simultaneously. Michael J Fox only had a limited break from his television show, so their only choice was to film both sequels at the same time. Then, release at different dates.
Worked out well for them. All great movies.
80's movies were the best!

Out of this same era, I loves all 3 Karate Kid movies as a kid. Also loved "Goonies" and "Stand By Me"

Everybody loves Goonies. Have you seen the remake of Karate Kid?

The one with the girl as main character?  I remember when I was a little kid, I saw the main bad guy from #2 when I was in a sushi restaurant with my family and I was afraid to say hi because I thought he was really bad. Haha

The one with Will Smith's kid probably.

Yeah this one. Didn't even know there was one with a girl in.

Recently watched 2001: A Space Oddysey - been blown away. Literally. Just. eh.... mind blown.

Yeah, classic film.

The only film that made me think about something. Actually think.

If someone didn't watch it, as I did until recently - definitely worth your time.
I'll watch it in the next few days.
