never seen manhunter but Red Dragon is damn good,

Manhunter was the original Red Dragon, But it was renamed Manhunter because it came out about the same time as a few Martial Art movies so to avoid confusion the studio renamed it.

I used to think red dragon was a good movie until i saw Manhunter, If you have not yet seen it you are in for a treat. Cool

Manhunter and the silence of the lambs.

You will never know how terrible red dragon was until you watch manhunter but then again edward norton hasn't been in a good movie since fight club...

Silence of the Lambs is a classic and I didn't think Red Dragon was bad, but I didn't like Manhunter much at all.

Rush is good

Sabotage got only 6.8 on imdb I would give it at least 8

Lone survivor is another excellent one for firearm genre

I watched Closed Circuit earlier. Enjoyed it for the most part but the ending was poor and very anti-climactic.

I agree. I like conspiracy/surveillance-type thrillers, but this one just went nowhere after starting off pretty good. I really like Enemy of the State. That's a solid one.

Enemy.

Trailer here: http://youtu.be/FJuaAWrgoUY

Best movie ever... I lie... I couldn't say that with a straight face.

I went with my SO to this movie as the trailer looks decent, but what we ended up watching, wasn't what the trailer depicted. The movie itself is a decent flick, and it's a very different type of movie than most. A psychological thriller.

The reason I post this isn't to recommend it to everyone, but more to see what everyone else thought of the movie. It's a Canadian film shot in Toronto and has some Canadian actors in it. Cheesy

I watched the movie and it was great, true to its origins with the first episode and continued on the sequel. I hope there is third installment.

Watched 300: The Rise of an empire yesterday. Real classic.

I'm sure it's enjoyable, but I wouldn't say it's a classic.

How do you know if you haven't seen it? haha (but I'm sure you're right).

Just watched 300: Rise of an empire

great fucking movie Cheesy

great effects, a lot of money invested in the movie and it turned out great Cheesy

totally recommending it Cheesy

Eh the action was fun but I wouldn't recommend it. The movie has no story to speak of, and the characters are all very one-dimensional and boring. The one thing I really disliked the most though is that they barely made any use of Xerxes. They set him up as a half-god badass at the start of the film, and then completely forget about him...

This movie looks great to me. I don't care any of the story. I can barely understand english anyway.  Smiley
Agreed. Story in this kind of movies is really on the second plan. Action was great and enjoyable - special effects on the very high level. \

The one thing I have to agree with Nathonas is that Xerxes vanished from the movie after 30 minutes - that's sad.

Man On the Moon... The Jim Carey film?

Yes, I lov.ed it the first time especially since I like Jim Carrey's acting
It felt slower the second time but still good

I thought it was shit and really slow when I watched it, but I don't get the comparisons to Mr Nobody.
