Watched the new 300, was pretty decent in 3d.

Were the added 3D effects worthy of paying more for the 3D version?
I read many negative reviews about this film, why did you like it?
There is no decent 3D filmes currently. The only one good 3D I've ever seen is Avatar - nobody didn't come close to it. So I guess you can watch regular 2D version and miss much if any.

I never turn films off even if they're shit. Always watch till the end. I kinda like shit films though, as long as they don't bore me into a depression.

I did that with Gravity - and made a big mistake.
...ended up hoping that useless, stupid, perma-groaning b*tch would finally accomplish to kill herself for the whole movie Wink

I enjoyed it, but it was pretty mediocre. Bullock's groaning was a bit unbelievable/annoying to me. You're free floating spinning off into space and all you can do is go 'woah' like you've just slipped on ice or something. You'd be screaming like you're on the worlds worst rollercoaster. George Clooney playing George Clooney was also annoying. The film would've been better with unknown actors I reckon.

right, Gravity is overrated, I felt asleep for a period. George Clooney was in poor form lately, Monument Men is extremely boring despite receiving high votes from imdb and rotten tomato.

When was he in great form? All he ever plays is a smug George Clooney.

You gotta admit though, his smug George Clooney acting is pretty spot on.

Haha. If there was ever an Oscar for Smuggest Male he'd win every time.

Anyone watched "Dom Hemingway" yet?

"Bad Words" has been floating around the web...that movie was decent.  It could have been funnier, but still entertaining...

Just downloaded both, but I'm in no rush to watch 'em.

Another good movie also directed by micheal mann "Thief" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0083190/

I live his style, but I don't think he's made a brilliant or flawless film yet. I love the cinematography in Colateral & Miami Vice, but that's probably just down to the cinematographer Dion Beebe.

I started Dom Hemingway, but was not that thrilled about the how it started, so I turned it off...

I never turn films off even if they're shit. Always watch till the end. I kinda like shit films though, as long as they don't bore me into a depression.

I will finish it eventually.   Some movies just take me more than 1 attempt if they don't grab me from the get go...

Hopefully one day they will have a movie about bitcoins, maybe the story of Pirate40 or dread priate roberts

I'm sure there are already several documentaries in the works.   I can almost guarantee there will be one on the rise and fall of Mt. Gox...or at least an episode of "American Greed"
