Hopefully this works lol  this is what happening at this end as you can see the s3 miner is dead 0 hash you can see the setting etc BUT the monitor is not sending any alerts nor rebooting it    Also has a s1 that just gone down the same trick

Just a footnote it on the lastest firmware and running cg 4.6

Everything looks right to me.  But the alerts clearly aren't there.  I'll have to check my code, thanks for the SS, they'll help a lot.

okay is there a trick to getting the alerts to work    Has set up an alert for an s3 <<<< 420 gh atm it showing on the interface a 5sec hash of 0  it gone into zombie mode but it not tripping the alerts or rebooting it taking a few ss as we speak so you can see the settings etc and logs

No tricks, should work out of the box.

I just took this from my machine:

Things i like,

ok the setup now looks pretty good, i've noticed tho - i always get the same hash rate when it adds up, 6.7th
this is thoroughly bloody annoying! Wink   (recommended fix = take the total hash rate off the GH/s(5s) not the GH/s(avg) - this would make a truer reading each time.

Detection on the "X" is still not showing in red for me, i suspect i may have done something wrong at install,

R.

The 5s one jumps all over the place.  For example, sometimes my S2 says 900 GH/s, sometimes it says 1100 GH/s.  The average one is the more accurate one, is it not?

Does anyone know how to get this program to change the pools.  It shows successful in the log but it doesn't work.

"out of box" it'll only work with S2s.  S1s and S3s are configured such that changes can not be made via the API on your local network.  You'll need to configure cgminer on your S1/S3 to allow API changes outside of the actual machine for it to work.

M

Thanks for the reply.  Are you able to direct me in what changes need to be done.  Thanks.

I can't tell you what to do, as if you mess it up, you're going to have problems.  But a google search should be able to help you out.

I haven't been able to watch many of my favorite posts. That said, without going back oodles of pages.

Have any of "my" issues been address M ?

Ty.

Should be.  Try the latest beta.

Here's another beta of 3.4.  This fixes a few more minor issues, and adds the ability to remove an Ant from the display by right clicking on it.

At this point I'm considering this pretty stable and this will likely be close to the final version of 3.4.

Note that I have an "S3+" now, and it worked out of box, and after I put cgminer 4.6.0 on it.  So I think all firmware issues are now addressed.

Feedback/thoughts are welcome as always.

Thanks!

I just adjusted my setup so doesnt need the horizontal scroll bar,

I noticed this on the log,

Parameter name: s
23/09/2014 9:04:44 p.m.: Attempting to reboot  via the web because the API query errored out.
23/09/2014 9:04:44 p.m.: REBOOTING 107SOLARIA via SSH
23/09/2014 9:04:49 p.m.: Reboot of 107SOLARIA appears to have succeeded

still not showing up in red tho - weird, yes - using the API

I can send u screenshots of each page Smiley

This means it had a problem querying one of your Ants, presumably 107SOLARIA.  It does point out a problem in my error handling routine, but I still don't know what's wrong.  Before that it should say something like "ERROR when querying  (step x): " and then some text.

What alert are you expecting to show that isn't?

Spoke too soon, the alerts arent working - not sure why - they arent autorebooting either. but i have a more or less working beta - i can live with this for a bit Cheesy

Thanks M - pretty impressed Smiley for a dev u listen to us

Nice pic!  I love the names.  Smiley

I assume you're using the API?  What alerts are you expecting that aren't there?  Mine are working, I have red on my screen for hash rate too low on my S2.

What does look odd is you don't have a horizontal scroll bar.

Also, thank YOU for the tip on your config as to why the API was failing.  That's the combination I hadn't tried yet.
