Can someone of those that used the OFFLINE METHOD for filling a claim tell if they got any email from trustee?
Does anyone know if there is an appeal procedure? Looks like my claim has been rejected, even though I was one of the first 300 people using Mtgox.

I just checked the mtgox website to see is my claim was approved and it IS.

As stated in the today's Bankrupcy Proceedings, the total amount of approved MtGox debits is:
45,609,593,503 JPY =~ 414,226,328 USD
Total amount of declared asset (in money) is:
1,064,664,553 JPY =~ 9,669,283 USD
Total amount of declared asset (in BTC) is:
202,185 BTC =~ 91,791,990 USD
That is done using the BTC/USD conversion rate of MtGox bankrupcy proceedings, that results to me 1 BTC =~ 454 USD.
Total assets:
91,791,990 + 9,669,283 = 101,461,273 USD
Percentage of returns as assets / debits:
101,461,273 / 414,226,328 =~ 25%
We can estimate a first rough percentage as 25%, that can obviously change according to claims rejected that will be accepted instead after eventual complaints, and also more expenses during Bankrupcy Proceedings.
I don't think that such percentage will change so much, anyway. So, if you want to know how much you will receive, more or less, you can take your claim and calculate a 25%.

Maybe they will post the results once Japanese business hours start . I called the mtgox call center last night and I spoke to a Japanese lady and I told her my situation and she took down my claim number with my first and last name and said that she would pass my info to the administrator and that I MIGHT get and email from then. I don't want to jinx myself but I doubt that. Fingers crossed and " prayers up " that legitimate individuals who filed a claim get approved and rewarded In a compete and timely manner .

So, may 25th is the deadline when ALL potential confirmations will be posted ?
Probably.... only the Attorney knows exactly.... we hope..... but could be that he set up another deadline if has not finished to review all the claims and didn't express a verdict to accept or reject....
I guess speculation will be over tomorrow. Regardless of what the outcome will be (ie: getting back something or nothing at all) this process closes a significant chapter in Bitcoin world. For most people it was a nice lesson to learn:
