“Blockchain Just Entered The Real World”
I finally got MM to detect my Rockminer New R-Box, but I can not get it to hash past 74-75 Gh/s. I tried " -S rockminer:all --set :clock=270 " but it doesn't seem to do anything. Any help would be appreciated

Hit up the BFGMiner thread - that is all that BFGMiner is capable of pushing the R-Box hardware.

Dang, thats too bad. Every time I get MM running smoothly I something like that pops up. Thanks Nwoolls

Hi all, I've been out of crypto world for a while now and really unaware of current mining situation. I'm aware the question is a bit off-topic but I'm gonna ask anyway Smiley
Is it still profitable to mine with 2 GPU (R9 280x)? Does it still make sense?

Ok thanks for that. It would be nice for the GPU users  (which I am) if we had the ability to do the multiport options. I havent been able to get multiport to work....when the port closes for the pool multminer doesnt failover to the new port. I think we need SGMiner 5 for that.

When will SGMINER 5 be uploaded / supported to multiminer?

You can use any miner you like with MultiMiner, as long as it is compatible with CGMiner / BFGMiner arguments and RPC API. Simply drop the new miner folder into the Miners\ directory and restart MultiMiner, using the GPU settings dialog to choose the new miner for the algorithms you want to mine:

https://github.com/nwoolls/MultiMiner/wiki/Settings#advanced-gpu-miner-settings

I have not had time to test with SGMiner 5.0, so I am not sure how compatible it is. MultiMiner ships with out-of-the-box support for several SGMiner 4.0 forms.

I will be looking into SGMiner 5.X, along with WhatMine support and a few other goodies for the next major update.

Hi,
FYI, I was getting weird fatal exception/dot net errors after launching v3.6.5, so I had to roll back to the previous version. Running Win7 Home Premium (x64).

Please post any errors or issues here:

http://issues.multiminerapp.com

including error details (e.g. using copy & paste). There should be a button on the error dialog allowing you to view & copy details. If the error dialog is not detailed you can try checking the Event Viewer under Windows.

  • NiceHash data is now fetched conditionally
  • The API Error Notifications setting is now respected for RPC API errors
  • Fixed an error with some locked down Network Devices
  • Additional performance improvements

I just wanted to clear something up. Is the temp listed in the software Fahrenheit or Celsius?

It's Celsius.

Thanks.

How would I overclock more than one miner? I got 8 Antminer U2s and one CryptoRig Hitchhiker NanoFury. I can overclock the NanoFury without an issue, but when I try to overclock the Antminers, in addition to the NanoFury, I get the same performace out of the Antminers as I do when I don't overclock them. What's the proper syntax to use when trying to target more than one device?

e.g.:

Code:
--set amu:clock=x0881 --set nfy:osc6_bits=53
