Bored with you morons.
I just got a bunch of Antminer U2s, but I can't get multiminer to detect them. Any ideas? Also have a BFL 50GH/s which its not picking up either.

EDIT: Got the AntMiners working, had to go into Windows Device Manager and reinstall the driver there. Still looking for some help on the BFL.

Check the drivers listed here (just added BFL, missed that one before):

https://github.com/nwoolls/MultiMiner/wiki/Drivers#drivers

Excellent, got it working. Thanks.

MultiMiner version 3.6.4 is now available for download with the following changes:

  • Added the option to clear all notifications
  • Clicking a notification for a NiceHash API error now displays the error details
  • An appropriate notification is displayed if MultiMiner is unable to restart a suspect Network Device (e.g. access denied)
  • Elapsed mining time is now considered before restarting suspect Network Devices
  • Added a work-around for SGMiner 4.0's broken RPC API compatibility (addressed in SGMiner 5.0)

Just a small suggestion (probably would be low on the list), but it would be nice to have a "Clear All" button in the notifications box that pops up where it says "Share(s) accepted for Bitcoin". I've had to sit and clear a few hundred entries in that box.

Maybe even better would be an auto clear where it has a max number of entries for the "Share(s) accepted for bitcoin" notifications (so they fall off after a certain amount of notifications), but keep the more important notifications in the box.

Thanks for the suggestion - I'll get something like that in the next update.

3D Printed!
Out of the blue my MultiMiner quit working on the X11 algorithm after NO changes were made.

I have tried everything I can think of and still nothing. I WAS using LBSPHSGMiner up until MM quit working and the only way I can get MM to somewhat work is via BFGMiner but only 1 of the GPU's will start mining.

Any suggestions? I am on the most up to date version of MM and BFG and am about ready to quit messing with miners that do not have built in controllers as the rewards are hardly worth the headaches incurred messing with mining gear these days.

Oops, I lied. Multiminer is NOT hashing in X11 alg currently...it IS reporting 2.2+ Mh/s on the gui but my pool web interface is not reporting ANY miners connecting.

MultiMiner version 3.6.3 is now available for download with the following changes:

  • Poor performing Network Devices are now automatically restarted (optionally)
  • Added the option to hide individual Network Devices (using their context menu)
  • Fixed the effective hash-rate displayed for Network Devices that use a CGMiner-based fork for alt-coin mining

We have a mining co-op. For now we are all on the same sub-net and when MM is running on it I see all the devices on the network. We all have different sub IP ranges, i.e. ( 192.168.1.30 to 192.168.1.50 ) for one person.

That makes sense. However, the S3s will not show up in MultiMiner unless they are manually configured to allow the IP address of the PC MultiMiner is running on. In other words, someone must have already configured these S3s to allow either your IP or every IP on the network access (using steps such as these).

One option would be changing / undoing that configuration. If those S3s really do belong to other folks they should probably not be configured so that your IP address has access to them.

That being said, the next update to MultiMiner will allow the user to hide individual Network Devices that they do not wish to monitor.

Is it possible to make MultiMiner scan only a certain IP range for network devices? I have a network with over 80 S3+, and I’m fed up with getting alerts from miners that are not mine.

I'm confused - you have other folks S3s on your LAN and they are all configured to allow your MultiMiner IP access to their RPC API?

Why is their RPC API enabled for your MultiMiner IP if you do not want to monitor them with MultiMiner?

If I can get a better picture of your scenario I can suggest a configuration or perhaps introduce a feature.

One thing you could add is a bitcoin mining profitability calculator right in the software itself calculating using Real time data (difficulty, Exchange Rate and blocks rewards) . I have been looking this up a while now. Just add this and your mining software will be the best!

This has been requested before. Time permitting I may try to do it with this new project that just popped up:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/profitlib-figure-your-own-coin-profitability-827985

I'd need to figure out how to make calls into the Python library from the .NET application, plus you would need to have the various wallets installed, but I think otherwise that should work.

Edit: I'd also like to add WhatMine support, but so far they have not responded to my inquiries or emails. Please reach out to WhatMine if you'd like their API supported.

MultiMiner version 3.6 is now available for download with the following changes:

  • Added support for generic Multipools as well as NiceHash-specific support - if you are using NiceHash / WestHash, MultiMiner will show profitability % and daily income estimates as well as consider the Multipool entries for Auto Mining Strategies)
  • Added a "Network Only" mode for MobileMiner monitoring - only stats for Network Devices will be submitted to MobileMiner (not stats for MultiMiner itself)

PR2 of MultiMiner 3.6 is now available.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/njbxxs3dqkr916r/MultiMiner-3.6.0.zip

In addition to the Multipool and NiceHash support found in PR1, this release adds a new "Network Only" mode for MobileMiner monitoring. With this new option enabled (under Advanced service settings) MultiMiner will submit stats for Network Devices to MobileMiner without submitting stats about MultiMiner itself.

This feature is specifically for folks who want to use MultiMiner to monitor their Network Devices without using MultiMiner itself to mine. Without this option, the MultiMiner PC appears as "Not Mining" within MobileMiner.

MultiMiner version 3.5.7 is now available for download with the following changes:

  • Fixed fiat prefix on daily income when viewing values in cryptocurrency
  • Fixed unnormalized profitability stats when using CoinWarz API
  • Fixed wrong network difficulty for devices depending on Network Device and pool setup
