If you have to sell any coin it shouldn't be Ethereum, even if you buy ETH and BTC as a time high you will still make your profits times 2 back in near future, they don't go to zero like most altcoins do.

If I am given a chance to go back to 2020 I would hold my ETH very tight and never let go, when covid was hitting the world at its best I thought it over and I sold 24 ETH which I bought at 120$ each, I never knew I was so damn lucky to buy at that price, learn to hold tight if you believe in a project, there are countless of projects in past years that are way bigger in value right now.
Well, that seems to be the case for the majority of people who don't believe in the development of cryptocurrencies as an innate human ability.  Accumulation and growth - this is crypto specific and range-seeking profits are part but lasting traction is a gift.  Reaching for results is a great thing, but I think it's a classic lesson for a large number of similar cases.

Everyone right here i guess semms to be having all a regrets. If we just know what coins and tokens are going to go high values for now, maybe all of our money would've just been invested in all of that potential coin especially on bitcoin and ethereum coin. But we need to accept that we can't read the future, so here we are some of us buying from now on the token that is already high and ended selling low due to lose hope of getting profit.
I don't understand what you mean by this expression, because potential coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum always don't hurt to buy, especially if you have time to take advantage of the downturn in the market. for the long term.
Because Bitcoin and Ethereum are two coins that are always suitable for long-term investments so being able to buy both will always be the most beautiful gift when the market starts to improve.

Dont say that. Not only you got a tons of regret or had the same story. For sure a lot here have some regretful moment on crypto that they shouldnt have sold and just hold, and there is also those who wishes to sold than hold. The difference with that is your apetite or risk factor. If you had hold it and leave it and believe on it. You are gonna take a hell of a profit but thats life some just realize when its end already.

All crypto users must feel the thing that is happening to you at this time, we often hold coins that have potential in the long run but we still doubt that it can happen, so every investment we must have great confidence to get maximum results, especially ethereum is one of the coins that does have high potential and the price that occurs today will definitely increase again, then in this case throw away all existing regrets and re-choose coins that have the potential to develop for the future.

you're not alone. I also sold some ethereum at the end of 2020, and a few months after that, the price of Ethereum went up month by month. it made me think it was like a dream. After a long time I held and collected ethereum, I sold it for under $1k. it became a dream-like regret.
however, the situation back then was quite bad. some situations such as covid, and others make us need to sell some of the assets we have. right now, it was already a thing of the past that became an important lesson. for now, we should return to collect assets that need to be held in the long term. for ethereum, for now the price is quite high, you can still try to collect it again or look for altcoins that have similar potential. personally, I chose BNB for this.

I have ever sold my crypto at the bottom. I know how frustated when someone has been loosing a lot of unrealized gain that can be used to buy a lambo. I know that so well and im not surprised if i were feeling the same thing like you too. So many people have ever felt it and by the way you just need to forget it and move on. Your ethereum will never came back again and just let it go on.
Try to make money from investing in another coin as well. This will be far better for you to be honest.

Those of us who have been members of the crypto community for a long time may all regret it, not only you. When we trade something but we even know it will be valuable in the future but out of necessity or something else, we can let it go. The most important thing is the profit even if it is small, Just holding is not enough if it doesn't become something. Long term only for strong people.

It is an erroneous opinion to think about wasted time and buying, selling at the wrong time. It is better not to regret and move forward because everything is evolving and you can find something with which you can earn.

Regret to hear that. Infact at that time people buying Coins for long term and second you choosen top coin this why possible that It will go high in future. Now to he market Sentiment changed. Everybody jump over other project and did not stay long In one project. Many competition here in projects, Ecosystem, Metaverse,P2E and no one can say that next which coin will make history.
I remember that I had received 2500$ worth of Pyr with 1.72 price but I sold and letter the price reached to 40$.
It was a very weird period and I do understand people who got scared and sold. When people do that in a regular day I do feel like they should regret doing that and it does make sense, because in the end we are talking about buying low, and selling too early and that is a bad thing.

However, when we are going through some of the hardest times as world, and people gets scared during pandemic that makes sense. How many times have we seen a pandemic that kills millions upon millions of people around the world. The early days were truly terrible, I have seen dead people outside of hospitals, it was honestly like a horror movie, I get why you would cash out during that time.

Don't be too hard on yourself at that time you only think what can be the best and you weren't sure what could be the future of the Eth just think that you made the right decision at that time and follow what you think is a right decision.

I have same experience when I sold at Bitcoin at around $20k which I thought was the peak but look where at it right now but I don't regret that since I think that was a good decision at that time, not unless you don't think first before selling it.

It's not over yet, crypto is always full of different opportunities every day, weeks and months, I missed out on shiba inu too because I like judging any project that wants to copy another project, shiba inu wants to be another doge and this turned me off completely but I learned.

If you never sold those ETH, it might not trigger the bull run back then. You see, instead of focusing on the profit, learn to move on by positively thinking that if you didn't sell those ETH, you might not be alive right now because of the struggle you have in the midst of the pandemic. Learn from it and let it go because that's part of the investment and sometimes you don't really get from your investment except for your capital back and some other investors has got nothing in return because they invested in pump and dump coins.

My biggest regret is that I bought Ethereum below $100 in 2018 many times but unfortunately sold them when price increased above $200 because I thought 100% profit on my investment is quite enough and as I had  less experience of crypto space I could not anticipate that Ethereum strong use case would take it to above $3K. Anyway what happened it happened and we can not change the history.

When you realize you've missed out on an opportunity to make a lot of money in this market, that's very normal, and I think that's one of the lessons many people will learn from pursuing this market. I myself have missed many opportunities to sell or buy coins at good prices, but I always see many opportunities waiting for me ahead.
There are too many opportunities in crypto and for sure we can't all grab it all at once. There were times I regret using my Bitcoin for just load purposes or to buy some stuffs like laptop and seeing them now makes me regret it knowing the price of bitcoin now. But things in crypto is really unexpected if bitcoin didn't get this price now or things happen differently we can still have some regrets of not spending it before. So we just need to accept it and learn from the past decisions we make in investing.

Many people became more and more worried when the price of the coin fell and at that time there were many negative rumors about the future of cryptocurrencies, so many traders were only targeting short term profits after the market recovered, maybe only some people are still holding to this day.

I am speculating that ETH will not return to $120 in the future, maybe $500 will be the lowest price if the market is bearish in the future.

Most of us want the opportunity to go back to previous years to get what we didn't get in that year.
But unfortunately, we can only regret it without being able to go back to the previous time.
You've done selling 24 ETH in that year and that is a lesson for all of us that if we believe in a project, we shouldn't do anything without doing some research because we can get the kind of experience @OP got.
It's a lesson to keep hold of your coins, especially those that have the potential to increase high.

You're still in profit. I've also sold but yours is more than mine and I still got a few ETH on hold which I am somehow regretful of selling as well but with the use of the profit I've made from ETH.

I just think of it when I feel down and regretting and eventually, I'm realizing that it has been into good use so I just look forward in accumulating again and hopefully to hold more until another high price reaches it.
