Accounts get hacked most times when you download some tricky apps. One has to be more careful with various app downloads because some of these apps gives hackers a free access to your private key if stored on the same device used for the download

Unfortunate. What wallet did you actually use in the first place? Also, where did you store your private keys?

Instead of quitting, hopefully this becomes a lesson for you to do your research(especially in cryptocurrency security) before actually putting your money into cryptocurrencies.

Agree, rather than surrender and stop, make this incident as a lesson and experience. To avoid this incident, we must always be vigilant when visiting a website that we do not know and also be aware of the links sent to our emails.

Looks like there is no solution to restore Ethereum that has entered into someone else's wallet.
The most thing for us is to guard before hacking occurs. We can use a reliable antivirus. Which can detect viruses on the desktop or in the web URL.

There is nothing that we can do once our eth wallet was hacked as the transactions that were made are irreversible but you can report or flag the hackers address.

But I am not that sure whether this will really help to freeze the money of the hackers address but with regards to your balances there is almost zero percent that you can recover it. So I hope that you learned from your mistakes and make sure that you should take good care of your private keys from now on.

Cannot return lost tokens or coins.. Cryptocurrecy is keeping before stolen, not taking back the stolen. My advice, do not ever store data on your desktop, because the windows system is vulnerable to viruses. If your computer has a problem with Windows, the system will also be reset, and the data will also be lost. The safest data is stored using notepad and rar. If you save data using Microsoft Office it is also vulnerable to viruses, and data cannot be opened.
so many people store their data in google tables. I ve read that this is not the safest place to store data - therefore, it is best to store your password on a USB flash drive
Google Drive is indeed not a safe place to store private data. In Google Drive where you store public data.
We can lock data, but it can be published accidentally.
USB drive is a problem if it is damaged, or lost. But this rarely happens.

To avoid the problems you listed, it will be enough to duplicate backups to several USB drives. In this case, even if you lose one, you will still have two more.
People make a very big mistake when they are lazy or neglect the ability to make several backups. I consider it a necessity.

Yes, this is indeed a good solution by backup to several places. But I prefer to use a wallet that uses email. So, if one day we lose the password, then we can reset the password. But most people don't like wallets that use email. They are worried about data theft, or hackers.

after seeing this incident, I don't think you will get your token back, because the fraudster has sent all your assets to the fraudster's wallet. maybe if you realize it or sooner than them, you still have a chance to move your assets to your new wallet.

Transactions on the blockchain are non reverse able, there's nothing you can do about it. Move on learning to protect your funds from future hacks such as this. Keep your keys Safe and secure from anyone's reach.

Just a few minutes ago, I warned that people should be cautious of the kind of crypto wallets they use. Now, you've been scammed. Firstly, I'm sorry about your loss. Secondly, why didn't you make thorough investigation before downloading the wallet?

This is a risk that must be accepted by cryptocurency users because hackers will continue to work to be able to take the assets that we have in their way. so we must be careful in carrying out an activity regarding cryptocurency to be able to maintain our assets properly. I hope this incident can be an experience for us in the future not to be repeated.

Sorry for that but be more careful next time cause there are so many ways hackers get access to victims wallets like clicking on phishing sites, poorly stored private key etc. Ensure you store your private key in a safe place. It should be encrypted. I hope you didn't lose much funds from the hack.

Be careful on what you download their are lots of them are a phishing site that can easily open your desktop and one of them is a virus to put it the files you downloaded. Just try to look at the right side of the website sometimes if have sign of lock those are safe site and have a words also secure. I just found out also that have same site of MEW, Becareful on this other MEW those are a phising site their is no lock sign in right side of the link.

There is no proof as you said and even if there is a proof, there's nobody or regulatory body you can report to for a redress. Remember cryptocurrency has no regulatory body.

This is one reason why every exchange requires its users to verify KYC. In addition to avoiding money laundering also to prevent the sale of crypto assets that was hacked. Although this method is not fully effective, but at least can reduce the hacker's space.

I think you should move your high-value and eth tokens to a new wallet. In my opinion that's all you can do, and be more careful in storing / using your private key.

You shouldn't store your private key in your PC without any security. It's like you kept your most valuable belongings in your home but you forgot to close the door. Private key should be stored somewhere with encrypted/password protected file. If somehow we lost it, we'll lose it all. So, we should be careful.

Note: Sorry for your loss.
