My pick is ethereum and bitcoin only because in my experience bitcoin and ethereum is the most safest to hold my investments. I Try some ICO's mostly i join is they will not pay me or the most i don't want to experience again is to get scam.
To take my best, I would prefer coins here to investment consideration and this is ETH, Neo and Ripple. I choose 3 coins it because I think that can be done great work in terms of the price growth and investor see can believe that can make the kind of investment in the future. How do you think?
I'm thinking about the following coins not only for 2018, but also for long term holding, at least to 2021.
1. Zcash (ZEC): it has advanced technology with strong team. In 2018, it has 2 big updates which could let price up a bit.
2. Burst Coin: This coin is dumped for a while, and just was up in last December due to new update. Actually this coin has very strong community.
3-4. Liberty (LBC) and VertCoin (VTC): I like their ideas and development progress.
5. Cardano: It has a very nice platform, and as far as I know, there is one ICO has started building on its platform.
6-7. Of course, BTC and ETH.

- Bottos (or Matrix AI Network) - not so sure about who could be the winner

At the moment, there are more than 1000 projects based on the blockbuster, but this year, the most promising projects will be those that address the problems with the security of the sphere, the integration of projects into the current world economy and projects aimed at creating the conditions for using crypto currency.

- Covesting- crypto currency copy-trading, platfrom is about to release, price is below ICO
- Universa- fast blockchain, perfect track record and weekly reports about what the did, there are some chances to launch cryptorouble on their platform
- Stellar- better than Ripple, concluded partnership with IBM
- Credits- another fast blockchain for financial industry, what I really like is hardcap in the first day and lots of partnerships being concluded

Interesting to see the lack of 'top 5' coins on your list. Could you explain why is that? A lot of people are rooting for eth/xrp this year.
Also a lot of altcoins that go off of another coin's name (btc private) often end up failing and get a lot of hate. So, why did you choose bitcoin private?

Well my top 3 are the top 3 in market i'm just got this feeling that these 3 will stay at top, bitcoin will always be king, while ethereum is not going either day by day altcoins are created and most of them are based on ERC20 that's from eth, another one is ripple it is outstanding since it goes up at top 2 this year and the platform of ripple is different than others a lot of banks now is thinking about accepting ripple and last NEM it is my last picks cause i know that NEM has the potential even though after the hacking incident it stays at top 50 and i admired that.

I invested on those 5 altcoins too, because the price is very stable and it's very promising, that's why i think those 5 will have a good future
Your choice is also good these coins you mentioned have great potential to grow,i would choose ETH,NEO,ADA,XMR,WAVES,LTC.These coins have proper set goals,road maps,good quality work is already underway for development of these coins.I hope that my investment in these coin would reward me much more than my expectations.
This year, my choice has fallen for only one coin and it's AION. Now, of course, the course falls, but once everything is stabilized there will be a big take off in this coin
