In the end, which one appear to you to be the more reliable : Nanopool or Flypool ?
(in terms of reported hashrate accuracy, effective payment etc ...)

This is what I have heard from zcash forums
Flypool hash rate is all over the place but payouts are on time
Nana pool hash rate is stable but payouts sometimes get delayed

I mine at flypool and I can say payouts are on time and hash rate is up an down

My rig is doing about 700h/s according to claymore, but Nanopool show something closer to 600 than 700.
Will try flypool to compare.

NB : I have many payout all the day from Nanopool , no worries about it. But not sure to be paid as much as I should !

I havent used nanopool but can share my experience with flypool.  Yes, the reported hash-rate is all over the place... my graph looks like the Rocky Mountain range lol!  Since going to v5 a few hours ago, I have been bouncing anywhere in between 350 & 450 h/r. But... they do pay out very consistently, which is very important given the volatility of ZEC.

Claymore v6 is a blessing !!! Now, ZCash came a lot more profitable ! It is now even twice more profitable than Ethereum ! I gained an overal of 160 H/s on 2x RX 470 and 2x R9 380 ! Calymore Kiss.

WOW!! CZM 6.0 is awesome!!!
Getting 140S/s+ on my MSI RX470 4GBs Smiley

Sampled v6 on my rigs:

290x at 166-168 H/s - speechless!

R9-390 at 177-180 H/s - OMG!

RX 480 at 140-142 H/s - best improvement since v5.

R9-Nano at 191-194 H/s  - OMG x 100 !

I am really off my seat on the R9-Nanos.

I think the HBM memory on the Nanos and Furys makes a big a difference.

These Nanos are also -100mV BIOS mod already so I dont even touch any AB settings, just install v6 put -i 4 and let it rip!

NEW UPDATE

Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner.
=========================

Latest version v6.0:

- improved speed by about 20-25% (depends on card model). About 180H/s on stock 390.
- "-i" parameter values are 0...4 now, default value is "-i 4".
- fixed issue with mixed cards.

did not try -i 0 yet

 I am testing -i 1 now

I figure all of the pcs have good intel cpus.   I don't do anything but mine with them.  So -i 1 or -i 2 should do better then -i 0

So far -i 2 did not seem to be a lot better.

Nice bounce for zec today up to .183 btc   so  I sold .5 zec  still have .5 zec

While all my rigs have virtual windows memory of 24gb - 34gb.

I observe that the rigs with more physical RAM performs better and stable.

Also the 4xGPU rigs on my Biostar Z170 performs well and stable, compared to 5xGPU and 6xGPU rigs.

Could it be that more physical RAM and qty of GPU will be a factor, in addition to CPU type (i5 or better) and virtual windows memory (big virtual mem pool)?

I am thinking that it will be a blend of all of the above.

over night results using -i 2

best rig  at 119H/s is the asus z170a using an i5 6500t

worst rig at 108H/s is the biostar z170a using an i3 6300t

the asrock h81 is at 113 H/s using an intel i5 4570s

the asrockz170 extreme 3 is at 115 H/s using an i7 6700t

What does it all mean? I suspect to run at -i 2  you need an i5  .

I also have virtual memory set at 32000-64000 on all rigs.

Very odd results given that the i7 6700t is near-identical clocks to the i5-6500t and has a LOT bigger on-chip cache, so should be punching out it's processing faster.

Probably other factors at work too - have you considered swapping parts around in testing?

I am a bit confused   as to why the asrock board is better then the biostar board.

but  it is the only board with an hdd  a 1 tb samsung    with a vm set at   320000 to 640000    by far the biggest vm.

I will check more deeply on this build.

Perhaps check the BIOS and confirm the PCIe gen/speed.  I read elsewhere that ZEC uses much more PCIe bandwidth than ETH. Maybe this is throttling the performance.

Although, this may have been fixed in the updated miner.

What were your settings for -i 0?

 -i 0    -i 2
           119   asus z170      i5 6500t

           108   biostar z170   i3 6300t

I'm wondering why you are all rushing to mine ZCash. It find it less profitable than Ethereum. Moreover Flypool is abosultely not giving me what I should get.

I was having generally no issues with flypool when I was running Zcash - they had a couple of stat dropouts but the actual earnings were still there, after the first couple days when ALL of the pools seemed to be having "teething pain" issues.

I'm not "rushing to mine ZCash" any more though, since for *my* setup at this point Ethereum is more profitable (and I'm starting to shift some rigs out of ETH as profitiability on IT is starting to drop again).

I do keep crunching the numbers though, just in case.

I suspect some folks expect ZCash to have at least one more spike fairly soon, and are trying to mine to have lots on hand if that happens - or they expect the price to rise long-term.

I'm wondering why you are all rushing to mine ZCash. It find it less profitable than Ethereum. Moreover Flypool is abosultely not giving me what I should get.
I am at Nicehash mining ZEC for BTC.
~25% lower powerdraw than ETH

I am doing more profits from ZEC on a daily basis for sure.

How the hell is it possible ? Both Whattomine and NiceHash calculator give me Ethereum a lot more profitable. There would even be a 3$ gap for me between them. That might be related to my configuration, but in my case Ethereum is a lot more profitable. I'd go for NiceHash given the pain it would save me, but considering that it doesn't work on my Nvidia rig, I had to ignore that option.

This may be an interesting site to evaluate the most profitable coin based upon equipment and capabilities:

http://whattomine.com

That's what I use. However, most the profits are not correct. All the ccminer-based coins (Vertcoin, Feathercoin...) are very accurate, but in case of Ethereum, that's not wonderful. And I don't even talk about ZCash Cheesy ! I've passed to Ethermine to see if that pool is reliable or not and I'll advise about where to settle.

Here is the ETH that I use along with Ethpool.org.  This combo have been very good for me.  I do not dual, I just use the single.

Download Claymore's Dual Miner

https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/0B69wv2iqszefdFZUV2toUG5HdlU

I'm far from being new you know Cheesy ! I already have Claymore's miner, that's a must-have. I was just asking if someone knows why my real earnings are a lot inferior to what has been predicted.

Sorry about that!  Cheesy  ZEC is going to zero very quickly and with the information that they have been talking about the introduction of ZEC on The World Crypto Network - The Bitcoin Group https://youtu.be/BSynwksRDjw   I do not see much longevity to ZEC...pump -n- dump.

From our perspective, the worst that can happen is that I loose a days wages, based upon my ability to convert quickly.
