Has anyone tried Mycelium service to buy/sell Bitcoins? Is it working fine with all cards?
Is it working well, how are your experiences and would you recommend to use this option? Would like to know your opinion.

From ones Ive been offered a cash debit card would likely put all transactions into one monthly bill but thats apparently not one of those

Yep, adding SegWit receiving addresses to Mycelium would definitely help people save some on fees.

ain't gonna happen by the looks of things. i really wish it would. going forward this will be the number one reason people move on, albeit reluctantly.

Is it an overly involved process to add in such a feature because transaction fees is probably the number one decline in usage for wallets overall, Mycelium included.   Seems like there is no easy solution, success breeds its own problems.    Thats a true economy and a test of its longevity is finding a way :/

https://card.mycelium.com/

that has nothing to do with visa. it's a token wallet so it's still cryptocurrency related.

oh.. i read just now..
if so it used like a cold wallet right???
nothing related to debit/credit cards.

any update here?

A bitcoin debit card related that works with Mycelium? no there isn't and I doubt there will be one. In fact, I don't think that the development of the wallet will go any further after a few weeks from now.

ok..but what about thath??

What effect do the high Bitcoin transaction fees have on the use of this card?

i asked if someone is using this kind of card...
i really don't understand..

I saw a thread demanding people include a segwit address or be considered persona non grata, is that something mycelium might include btw

High guys,

I'm using the mycelium wallet but the fee's are SUPER high. There'sjust no way the fee could be 0.02btc for a low priority fee. My friend said he sent some btc and was charged $10.

What can I do to lower the fee's? Am I able to download another wallet, login with my existing 12 seed keys and send my btc from another wallet?

Dont reuse the wallet too many times seems to be the basic advice to avoiding bigger fees.     What happens to me when I send is there is a few dollars left when I send because the mining fee might make the balance too low when scanning in the QR code.     The person or company I pay does not include this fee so I have to juggle his factor myself and it leaves this amount left over which is a shame.  Obviously I want to empty and never use that wallet again to avoid this possibility of creating a more congested wallet address with bigger fee.

Mycelium is the worst wallet ever, I sent low priority transfers and they never confirmed so I cancelled them, then my balance dissapeared, again appeared and I only have 3$ now, and it wont sync back for 2 days, so they scammed me for money.
Going to fill report.

You haven't been scammed for anything. Just enter the Mycelium seed in another wallet and everything will reappear like magic. At the very worst it's displaying you the wrong information. A Mycelium seed will work in Coinomi and many others.
Good info, I have still never gone to check various forks that I could have done.   I figured it was a hedge not to

You probably have a lot of small txs in that tx you are trying to send.

Mycelium allows 1 sat/byte, which means to get to BTC0.02 your TX would have to be 2MB.

It would never confirm if you sent 1 sat/byte fee.

https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/

The thing is, senders control the fees. If we started using lower fees, fees would lower. The users of the block chain only have themselves to blame. They got use to transactions being included into the next byte and though that should be the norm so are paying higher and higher fees to make it happen.

Yep. They are competitive to get their transaction confirmed right away. There's something going on around where they're saying that miners are spamming the blockchain resulting the high fees we have nowadays. I really hate it and my money is clearly wasted by this. Hope the fees will go down soon.

How can I choose 1/sat byte for the iOS app?

I'm obviously not sending 2mb worth of BTC. That would have to be 100's of BTC?
