Imo, i think threads should be created to represent each discussion board, we could prolly assign users to start threads to represent specific discussion boards (like mr A creates a thread for Bitcoin discussion, mr B creates a thread for economics discussion, mr C creates a thread for gambling discussion, etc), thus anytime a user wants to comment/discuss/start a new topic about any subject, they will know the thread to go to, and they wouldn't have to start a new thread for it. I believe things would be neater/less messy that way, i know quite a lot of people can start many threads in a day, thus we might get a lot of new threads with little activity in them, but if there is a thread representing most users interest, they would know the place to go to when they want to post in the local board, and each representing board would have good enough activity.Congratulations on the local board everyone!

Words can’t express how happy I’m for us to finally get a local board of our own, I must say it has been long overdue for us to already have it. Thanks to all those that pushed to make this a success. We all appreciate your efforts and promise to make this board as important and informative as other boards in the forum.
About the sub-boards, I will suggest we take it easy and deliberate very well on it. We should only create sub-boards that will have more contributions from everyone, I mean a board that will be informative and people will have discussion there to share a lot.

As I wake up this morning I come see naija with it own board, I dey say to my self wake up from your sleep this one na dream, I come the thread come say no be sleep na true matter be this.
Having our own board will make things easier for us especially we the beginners wen nava sabi the forum. I so happy to see today of a dream come true for us even though I don't no wen dey starts to dey hustle for the board, am happy to celebrate the victory and I dey pray more and more should be coming.
Finally, I will make sure I dey abide by the rules of the board even though we can not contribute to the board but I make sure follow the rules.

I enter forum today, say make i check watin dey happen for the local hangout normally. As I check up for the thread as I sabi say, our high activity rate dey aways keep us afloat of every other hangout, to my surprise, we were no where to be found. Na till I look well I see say, Theymos don move am. Na once my belle sweet me and as I fall back go local board con see Nigeria (Naija), I get the joy way I believe say most of una get too. A very big congratulations to all of una way contribute to this success one way or the other. It takes great determination and corporation to make this thing happen.The only thing way tire is small shah na the lack of structure for the local board. E just tire me say, upon all our preparation and persistence, we no been set up a structure for proper categorisation and discussion. back then, I dy discourage to posts for this our local board unto say we been never get approval but as things dey be now, the time don come to push our own further, e go dey make us represents wetin we be true true. When I first saw theymos name on the thread, I quickly thought of the creation of the board. And when I checked the thread it has been moved to Nigeria (Naija) board. And I was excited, happiness all over me. But sub-boards are needed badly in the newly created board.

How far we have gone in this forum shows how committed we are. Our commitment has given us a desirably result. Now it is time expand more in having different sub-boards for easier discussions to flow in. Like if peso wan talk about politics, bitcoin, altcoin or beginners and help you go to their board to post am for an easy flow of discussion than quoting one post to another of different topics

About the sub-boards, it should not just be created like that, it’s something to really deliberate on. The number of active members we have here will determine the much number of sub-boards to be created so that it won’t be left dormant without any contribution coming in there. Like you suggested if we are to create a sub-board on bitcoin discussion, let sub-boards like (beginners & help, altcoin discussion, trading discussion etc) fall under it as a thread and not a sub-boards on there own. Politics and Economy can fall under the same sub-board too, Football discussion sub-board and lastly Entertainment (which will comprise of music, comedy gist, celebrity gists etc). IMO, this four sub-boards will be okay to start with, to avoid too many sub-boards that won’t bring meaningful discussion and activeness in general.

Congratulations 2 all of us. Abeg create sub-boards to make things easier for the discussion. If sub-boards are not created then there will be no different from the defunct Thread. As it is, the post are hidden in the board and it is only the creation of the sub-boards will make the post vividly.
Sub-boards would not be just created, your activeness would decide that. Example if you post what is more related to altcoins very well to the extent it is taking up more space (I mean having more topics) on the first page of the Naija main board, that means you can request for the altcoins board etc, which would be a sub-board to Naija (main) board.
