They’re doing it to bypass the daily withdrawal limit by funding dis people’s account to withdraw money for dem. If they really want dis policy to be very effective, they’ve to take strict measures with it, if not d reverse na him go still be d case again.

My broda man and my sister woman, dis our country way we dey so na big cruise. Where any body, make I no say anybody shah but the people way dey high places go just get up and do as them like. Imagine say person fit get up say, na en turn to rule the nation! That na to tell you say, this country way we dey so, e get people way dey run am. The only joy I get be say, the suffering way dem bring come, e don open so many people eyes to dey look for better.

I mean, dis people suppose dey think the problem of the common man way dem dey represent but, the matter way we dey see be say, th dey do the complete opposite. If you check am, na frm this same suffer most of them commot from breath air o but, them don forget say that kind condition dey exist or no just care. Maybe them feel say, as them take come out so, na so common man too suppose use fine e level.

For those who actually own Bitcoin those who have seen two possibilities of Bitcoin would agree that there is a brighter future with Bitcoin. And he has no doubt about it.

Are there plenty people using Bitcoin in Nigeria? I would see that Bitcoin is popular among the teeming youths in the country. What do I mean by this? 7 out of 10 youth have heard about Bitcoin while 5 out of 10 youth own Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. This is not from a pool but from my experience as a Nigerian living in Nigeria..

The only way the Nigerian government responded to the use of Bitcoin is by creating their own digital currency which flopped on arrival. They also ban Banks from transacting in  cryptocurrency.

First of all you are welcome to naija. The bitcoin  dominating City in Africa. I don't know what kind of project you are embarking on. But there is harm in this research. These are my views on your questions
1. Bitcoin has helped me in particular to stabilize my life and cost of living. After the university education, the government could not provide job for the graduates so I key into bitcoin investment as a friend of mine introduced me to it. And I am doing well even in the bear market. And the future is brighter with bitcoin.

2. Of course, those who are serious and patient with bitcoin always have new life. Bitcoin is not a get quick rich investment but it is a long term system because of the bear markets, so those who can endure change their narratives.

3. Well bitcoin is a digital currency which is used to exchange goods (assets) and  services online that out of authorities control (decentralized payment system).

4. As it is stated in 1 and 2, the future with bitcoin is bright.

5. From my introduction, Nigeria is the bitcoin dominant city in Africa. Therefore the population of users of bitcoin in Nigeria is uncountable upon the ban.

6.well there are different propaganda circulating the media that Nigerian Government is planning to tran the youth on cryptocurrencies. That means there is a pre-planned adoption of bitcoin.


1. The circumstances that increased the uses of bitcoin in Nigeria is the endsars protest, unemployment, and bitcointalk forum etc

2. E-naira was established after the ban of bitcoin in the country, and the youth didn't use it. And if this cashless policy finally established in Nigeria, the youth will still use bitcoin p2p more because the e-naira is centralized exchange system.

All Nigeria government does is to worsten things for the common man. All these ones wey dem dey do,e no go affect them o because if na cashless policy,them politicians go still dey spray money and go even dey carry large sum of money waka. If u check CBN rules,dem say anything above the daily limit, you go pay some percentage and these bastard politicians go pay all those charge fee becos money dey.

Imagine,spraying of money is the fun in dancing and dem say make e no dey but dem go spray money o. Nigeria government na dem be the people wey bible talk about wey go put law but no go ever obey the law. I believe say as a Nigeria man,we no dey fit do anything na to just dey complain we fit dey complain, we go still find alternative way to do our normal things. Na only God go give us help us for naija with dumb ass government.

Misplaced priority, wetin concern spraying of Naira to the price deprecating. When dem no go focus energy on wetin dey important na things like dis we go dey see. Them no know say dem dey destroy the job of minters. First na POS and now this, instead of carrying jobs them dey destroy the ones we been dey use hold body. Them dun implement cashless policy dat one never do them. After all the surfer we dey go through, the small things wey dey give us joy them wan take that one too. Spraying at occasion is a way of life of a typical Nigeria and that shoudn't be taken away.

They're better ways to tackle this whole thing and that's taking Nigerians from a consumption nation to a productive one and not implementing laws everywhere. Na those laws we go chop? Your people dey surfer and the best the government can come out with is laws like this and say they have done their best. The APC government is the worst thing to ever happen to Nigeria and hopefully they don't come back in 2023 because it'll be deadly.

The funny tin be say bank go still collect their charges too both for card maintenance and transaction fees. I just dey wonder how cashless economy go be.

Personally, Bitcoin has been of tremendous help to me, not only has it changed my financial life, but my attitude towards finance generally, it has given me the mindset of upholding decentralization and privacy. The Nigerian government, just like every other government loves control, but with Bitcoin i've been able to control a fraction of my finance without worrying about censorship or other whatnots.
Of course, Nigerians are intelligent and resourceful people, so the idea of Bitcoin and fintech generally has been embraced so well within our shores, and despite the fact that we are the leading adopters in Africa now, we still expect the adoption rate in Nigeria to go higher, and for Bitcoin to provide more opportunities for Nigerians.
Decentralization
Bitcoin is definitely a long term project, one that is sustainable because it has an actual utility, if governments around the world can reduce the rate at which they attack Bitcoin, then i can see a future with Bitcoin being a well acceptable alternative to fiat currencies.
Yes there are, but not at the level of mass adoption; and it is used majorly for trading and speculation, there are actually limited merchants that accept Bitcoin in Nigeria, so many people can't use it yet as a medium of exchange.
They aren't responding favorably thus far, but it isn't basically peculiar with the Nigerian government, many other foreign governments are not responding well to Bitcoin use in their country too. Well, the Nigerian government no longer allows banks process crypto transactions from exchanges (reason why p2p is popular amongst Nigerians), that is so far their biggest attack on the network, but i believe with time the Nigerian government will come good towards Bitcoin.

Bro e no suppose to be so ooo. I guess say no be your first time to dey use POS to dey pay for services so why you know ask yourself why this wan cone be different? D thing wey really happen be say the waitress use una head collect N100. At the end of the day she fit get like 1k or more from customers. You know say all this money is been credited directly into the company's account but no be everyone go pay with POS, some go use cash, so na their she go collect the money or she fit collect wetin them dey sell at that price.

My guy you go deh try read comment well before you go deh attack person. No where for my post weh I talk say e no concern me. My argument be say even these people weh deh complain may not even be making up to that withdrawal in a week. But we deh like complain for everything weh government deh do even when e go be something weh go later favour us. Our concern na to hope say government no go allow certain people privilege, na him I deh talk. For a system to work, sacrifices have to be made. Abroad weh we deh always talk about get strict laws if we no know make we know now. Cashless society go reduce so many evil things and so we have to support government on that, no be to always deh condemn them in every thing.
