I would be happy to answer these questions:
- How could Bitcoin help in your specific situation in Nigeria?
- Could Bitcoin give Nigerians a new way of life?
- What do you find particularly appealing regarding Bitcoin technology?
- Could you imagine a better future using Bitcoin?
- Are there already plenty of people in Nigeria who use Bitcoin?
- How is the Nigerian government responding to the increased Bitcoin use?
First of all you are welcome to naija. The bitcoin dominating City in Africa. I don't know what kind of project you are embarking on. But there is harm in this research. These are my views on your questions
1. Bitcoin has helped me in particular to stabilize my life and cost of living. After the university education, the government could not provide job for the graduates so I key into bitcoin investment as a friend of mine introduced me to it. And I am doing well even in the bear market. And the future is brighter with bitcoin.
2. Of course, those who are serious and patient with bitcoin always have new life. Bitcoin is not a get quick rich investment but it is a long term system because of the bear markets, so those who can endure change their narratives.
3. Well bitcoin is a digital currency which is used to exchange goods (assets) and services online that out of authorities control (decentralized payment system).
4. As it is stated in 1 and 2, the future with bitcoin is bright.
5. From my introduction, Nigeria is the bitcoin dominant city in Africa. Therefore the population of users of bitcoin in Nigeria is uncountable upon the ban.
6.well there are different propaganda circulating the media that Nigerian Government is planning to tran the youth on cryptocurrencies. That means there is a pre-planned adoption of bitcoin.
Thanks! This helps me quite a lot and that's how I am able to write an article about the situation in Nigeria
- Which circumstances contributed to increased bitcoin usage in Nigeria?
- What do you think about the E-Naira?
2 more questions have emerged. I would be happy for another reply, but I'm already super grateful for what I have. There seems to be an awesome Bitcoin community in Nigeria! I am trying to onboard German people to Bitcoin technology, who care about sustainability and human rights. Those people should see what big implications money has and what Bitcoin could do for us. Would you mind sending me a private message?
1. The circumstances that increased the uses of bitcoin in Nigeria is the endsars protest, unemployment, and bitcointalk forum etc
2. E-naira was established after the ban of bitcoin in the country, and the youth didn't use it. And if this cashless policy finally established in Nigeria, the youth will still use bitcoin p2p more because the e-naira is centralized exchange system.
