My bet today is literally illogical from my personal perspective, and it's just borne out of a personal interest for a game 6, I hope the Minnesota Timberwolves can get the win tonight, at least more because they are back on home court and extended the series just further. That being said, I've got the Timberwolves win and cover a -4.5 handicapped for a 1.91 Odds.

Good luck to everyone!

A. Edwards 6+ assists / A. Edwards 6+ rebounds @1.92   won

Ant has been more aggressive the last two games looking for his shot early, roughly 8 more field goal attempts than the first two. I'm passing on the points and focusing on his assists and rebounds. Ant is flirting with a triple-double 26/9/9 and 29/10/9 in Games 3 and 4, his usage rate is elite, 37%.  He leads his team in rebounds (second in reb chances only to Gobert) and assists (8.3 on 13.3 potential assists). I might sprinkle something on him getting his first career playoff triple-double, he is due.

N. Reid 1+ 3pts / J. McDaniels 1+ 3pts / PJ Washington 1+ 3pts / D. Jones Jr. 1+ 3pts @2.50   X

This bet is inspired by all the open looks some of these role players get. J. McDaniels is shooting 55% from deep this series, N. Reid 52%, and D. Jones Jr. 46%. The only one struggling with 3pt% is PJ Washington, however he is second in 3PA only to Doncic and has hit two or more 3s in 9/L10 playoff games.

Tough bet tonight but I took the timberwolves.  They are favored by 4.5 points and think they extend this to 6 games.  They have home court and maybe a little momentum with the win in game 4.

I'm also taking the over 207.5.  I think this will be a game that falls in the 220s.  Just hoping for a good game honestly.

Good luck and enjoy the game!

As much as I want to see the extension of this series and Timberwolves win. I want to see the finals as soon as possible and the odds are better with the Dallas than of them.

But later Lively might be back so they will have another option which is to lob the ball to him. He is still in questionable status but I bet he is itching to play with his teammates.
I hope that he plays, they need him to be honest and he contributes very well for every ball possession that the Timberwolves has got as he's a great defense guy.

Good luck everyone. Have a great day.
Good luck to everyone. I know that this might be tough for the Timberwolves with their standing and they'd be playing on their homecourt. Mavs did beat them there twice.

Dallas Mavericks - Minnesota Timberwolves - Dallas Mavericks (-1.5) @1.92 Loss!
Over 209.5 @1.79 Loss!

Both ended as a loss. I sure expected the Over will at least hit but when Doncic missed that freethrow for the four point play, I gave it up. It could've been a freethrow fest if only he made that shot.

We have Game 5 later. And again, the Mavs are back to being underdogs.

Minnesota Timberwolves - Dallas Mavericks - Dallas Mavericks ML @2.60 - Yeah, I believe in the two best closers in the league. They had a rough night in Game 4. Kyrie was not shooting great and so do Doncic. But later Lively might be back so they will have another option which is to lob the ball to him. He is still in questionable status but I bet he is itching to play with his teammates.

Over 208.5

Good luck everyone. Have a great day.

Dallas Mavericks (7.5)

Odds
1.66

With this kind of odds, I think it's already a steal as they came from a loss and will likely adjust to beat the Wolves in game 5. But if they fail again, 7 points is too many to cover for the Wolves. Additionally, a news update came out that Lively is now upgraded to "questionable." That's a positive update considering he was reportedly out before this new information.

Furthermore, I think the under looks very appealing here. Since every game is a do-or-die game for the Wolves, the defense will be intense, just like what we witnessed in game 4 where they were in foul trouble. So, I believe the play here is under 210.

I seem to be getting them all wrong this series but that won't stop me from making predictions.  The Mavericks might have a tough night for them tomorrow in Minnesota, but I think they'll be able to keep it close at the very least.  Getting 7+ points on the spread when you're up 3-1 seems downright disrespectful from a betting standpoint, so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and taking Dallas with the spread here.  I wouldn't mind seeing it go another game though.

I have been betting on the Mavs all of these other games, but I think this game I'm going to actually take the TWolves just because I feel like they are going to have to win at least one game.  I do wish the spread was a bit higher, so I'll probably just take the Twolves money line.
Possible.

There's a possiibility that the Wolves will get this 4th and then the next game, they'd lose it.
If you have put your money on Timberwolves and it is -4.5 for the Mavs then congratulations to you.

The next game is interesting, this is likely where the Mavs will be able to end the series. But then, who knows what might come and the Wolves are still alive and breathing.

But then, it's hard for any team to have that come back coming from a 3-0 or 3-1.

Minnesota Timberwolves are the ones defeating themselves, they came out a very positive energy, but awful decision making down the 2nd Quarter got the Dallas Mavericks back on level terms, Karl Anthony Towns picking up highly stupid fouls, and that exposed their other players to picking up fouls too, Towns, Gobert and Anthony Edwards all have 3 fouls each, I'm struggling to understand how that is going to be sustainable for them in the second half, as you can expect both Luka Doncic and Irving to keep targeting them aggressively.
Our bets were looking so good heading into the second quarter, and then the Timberwolves suddenly shot themselves in the foot with those unnecessary fouls and turnovers. 🤦‍♂️

Who is already watching the Game 4 of Timberwolves vs Mavericks?
I'm currently tuned in, the Mavs are missing way too much, but it only took one good run in the second quarter to close the gap.

While the Timberwolves are shooting the ball well, the Mavs are punishing them for each miss and turnover.

I'm rooting for this series to be extended too, to be very honest... And because the Timberwolves have been a terrible team in the 2nd half of this series, I'm picking them to win the 1st Half @ 2.00 Odds
I'm also on the Timberwolves first half, but this time it's only for the team totals (over 51.5 for 1.8 odds), they've gone 3/3 with the over first-half points, and I highly doubt the Timberwolves would go slow in this elimination game.

As much as i'd want the series to last longer, I still need the Mavs to close it out today since I have them winning by less than 6 points in the prediction league. Then again, Scott Foster is officiating this game, so my prediction will probably get spoiled, and a game five could be on the horizon.  Wink

Smh!

It's all tied at halftime, but the Wolves have a whole lot of work to do if they're are to avoid a defeat here.

So no basketball for over a week if the Timberwolves are swept, as the NBA Finals start on June 6th.  I can't recall the last time both conference finals ended in a sweep. The NBA desperately needs this series not to conclude tonight. It's not like the Mavs have been that much better. MIN had 4th Q leads (with under 5 minutes) in all three games, though you can't deny Mavs have better closers, both Luka/Kyrie have been clutch in crunch time.

Unfortunately that have been the story of both conference finals, Indiana Pacers as well could easily have won 3 of 4 games they played vs the Celtics, but it all came down to making the right plays down the stretch, and both Pacers and Minnesota Timberwolves have done a really awful job in that area game after game without learning from the previous games.

Scott Foster aka The Extender is the crew chief...perhaps he is the little push the T'Wolves need, some timely foul calls in the 4th Q could make the difference.

I have two plays, i'm doubling down on Ant's points, really unfortunate not to get the over in Game 3 as we needed one more point, but the good news is that volume was there, 24 FGA. I also like K. Anderson's PA line, he's covered in every game this series, and i won't be surprised if he gets more minutes than usual.

Anthony Edwards o26.5 points @1.78  won

Kyle Anderson o7.5 PA @1.81  X

I'm still yet to decide on which way to go, I'm more likely going to be leaning towards the over spread again, or maybe I might just go with the Timberwolves here, they're due for a win and I think they'll play well enough to protect their ego and avoid be swept here.

Luca Doncic listed as questionable would be of a huge impact should he fail to play today, and that could make the job rather easier for the Wolves. The first half Over spread is currently pegged at 103.5 @ 1.80 Odds, while the Total points spread for the match is at 211.5 @ 1.91 Odds.  There could be a low scoring encounter on either of the halves, which I think might be the second half.

I'll decide my pick closer to the tipoff when the availability of Mike Conley and/or Luca Doncic are both confirmed.

Probably not a bad call.  I'm the opposite, I've been betting the Timberwolves and getting hammered this series.  While I think you're probably right and the wolves aren't going to let themselves be swept, I also think they may be defeated mentally already and if they get down by a decent margin they'll probably give up, leading to them getting smoked.  I probably would've bet the Mavericks -10.5 if it was an option, but I'll stick with the -4.5.  I do think the odds of the Timberwolves getting blown out are pretty high, but I also agree they are going to try everything to take home the win.

Indiana Pacers - Boston Celtics - Indiana Pacers ML @3.30 Loss!
Over 220.5 @1.77 Loss!

Lost both my bet, damn it.
Again, I thought the Indiana Pacers could win that game. Always the mistakes in the closing minutes of the game and that cost them the series. Surely, they have so much to learn. They are a young team so I bet they will come back stronger.
It's sad that it ended early but that's what most prediction was told.

Later we are back to the Western Conference Finals. Will it be a sweep or will be the Timberwolves try to survive.

Here are my picks.
Dallas Mavericks - Minnesota Timberwolves - Dallas Mavericks (-1.5) @1.92 - Yeah, just a bit greedy.
Over 209.5 @1.79

Might as well put some props for Daniel Gafford if ever Lively is not able to play due to the concussion in the previous game.
Daniel Gafford - Over 10.5 Points @1.79

Good luck everyone. Have a nice day.

Whether Haliburton plays or not, the Indiana Pacers have the offensive firepower to compete, they can win.
Now I'm very positive with my +8 on Pacers tomorrow.
Good luck, mate, but honestly, I think this is a different scenario as I feel the Pacers will not be as hungry in the last 3 games. They know they have a very slim chance of coming back. I hope it will not affect their mentality, and they would just let the Celtics beat them. I don't know, but honestly, I'm not really confident betting on either team tomorrow. It's just that it could be the last game, and I'm not sure if it will be the home team or the road team.

I guess I would just take the over 222.50 since they are always playing a high-scoring game.
They tricked us all because in the final 3 & 1/2 minutes they were shooting bricks while all game they were looking to cover the over 220.5 pts easily.
That corner 3 by Jrue Holiday sealed the win for the Celtics even with over a minute left Pacers just knew they weren't going to win because with the last shot by Boston they had a foul to give and didn't take it.

Good luck with your first half bet, if both teams can get scoring early in the 2nd Quarter, then you should hit the over with ease.
Congrats on your quick first-quarter win on the Celtics.

Unfortunately, my first half over fell short by a point, they got it going early in the second quarter and I thought it would hit with how the live totals hovered around 120+ points. If only the team totals were available I should've taken those instead of the total for both teams.
Those over bets that fall short by a single point are the worse.
Had the cover of +7.5 Indiana which was alot but was also blinded, just like everybody else here, thinking they would score above the 222.5 pts needed with my combination bet @6.60x
