whats this about people joining after the ipo has ended? does that mean these new guys get some even though its closed???

Yes my plan is to ask more people to join in after public auditing and refunding sockpuppet accounts. There will be higher qualifications this round and I am still targeting around 3000 stakeholders. Also anonymity won't be allowed to avoid sockpuppet accounts.

BTW: I have an advertisement in Bitcoin subreddit on 2/28 for the whole day and I plan to get some media coverages to get more people interested in NEM. At this point, my goal is to have people who can bring substantial benefits to NEM on board such as businesses, developers, master promoters or community leaders etc.

We have only ONE CHANCE to get the stakeholder list right. So I would like to ask everyone to look around for people who you think can bring benefit to NEM. And if you find these people, talk to them to join NEM as if they will be your business partner. It won't be easy to persuade talented people to join us though so please give it your best. The fee to join in would a flat 800NXT or 0.08btc until we officially close the stakeholder list.

So no family or friends, but people who can without a doubt benefit NEM.

I'm going to try to write letter to people with huge YouTube following. It will be extremely hard to write a convincing letter, but I'll try. I guess I can copy and paste my thought out points to a friend on Facebook. I saw that someone with a Bitcoin twitter account with over 2,000 followers is a stake holder, so people like him.

I guess no chance for my friend who lives in Italy since he didn't take my Nem pitch seriously.

Right, this round I think we need people who are inside the crypto circle which believe it or not much much bigger than this alternative board.

I just saw that video a couple of hours ago. What a coincidence to see someone post it.

Let's not do this. UP has already shown us the direction he wants to go with this. We should respect his decision.

2cool has to state that he still wants his stake, and he gets it.

We should not let 2school put us in a place where we go against a decision that was made by leadership. We need to support UPs decision!!

YES TO THIS^^^

We have a leader, lets let him drive the car. As a matter of fact, you are grabing the wheel. Make suggestions but doing things like this will make us lose our way. We are going off the road here.

No, there is no conspiracy.  Nem's whole concept is ridiculous.  Even its slogan was copied from Nxt.  It claims it is a "new economic movement", but they got that concept from my quote about Nxt being "not just another cryptocurrency, but a movement".  Nxt is the true "new economic movement".

It claims it is a "no envy movement", but the only reason it exists is for people to try to replicate Nxt's monetary success.

Nem's distribution is highly concentrated.  Currently, Nxt is even more distributed than Bitcoin.

Everyone who is "investing in Nem" is wasting their money imo, but people can make their own decision.

That's it for me with 2kool4skewl. You know before I wrote that he would be a valuable member to this community, but it's time to face facts: 2kool4skewl is denouncing NEM in many threads. After this he can not just simply say that he was only questioning NEM. He is trying to make it look bad!

I want him removed as a stakeholder. There can not possibly be any value in having a stakeholder among us who is going around and telling people that NEM is a waste of money and that it is created only by envious people trying to feed their greed.

Now I am suggesting a democratic vote on behalf of the community to remove 2kool4skewl from the stakeholder list. This will end any possible accusations made against Utopian future for removing 2kool4skewl about him being a dictator. The community has the right to remove members that it does not want to have!

You can vote about him being a member of the community here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/2kool4skewl-as-a-member-on-nem-community-480290

The vote will be open for the next 3 days. After this the community will have made it's decision, no matter the result of the vote.

This is not good, yes he is a troll, but he is also a stakeholder. We don't have the right to remove him, if he wants to stay. You are trying to set a dangerous precedent, once we vote out one member it becomes really easy to vote out a second and then a third. We will be endorsing mob rule and I dont want that. Its not about that jerk, its about the values of this movement.

Yeah that's a good point
The more fuzz you guys make about this the more it's going to harm NEM.
Let's just move on.

Agree... He has an obvious conflict of interests and his opinion just reflect that. But, we will play his game if we continue reacting. Just, let's continue

Just because someone doesn't like the company, it didn't mean they cannot own/purchase any shares.
It's always up to owner. But crypto - non-commercial structure, and owner can be considered as OP's (before code's published, community've almost nowhere to go, if they like concept, and sometime ago in Nxt BCNext held all power as well, besides full TF algo still don't revealed) and/or as community itself (like through Nxt-thread). Ofc, there's full-owning before launch and boundared owning after (correct "crystal palaces" in coredevs minds, common funds like in Nxt and so on).

Please help promote NEM

Dear friends and fellow stakeholders,

Please help promote/support NEM by using your unused signature/tag space by using it to promote the NEM movement. It can easily be done and if we all do it, will be very good promotion for NEM. Each time anyone of posts anywhere in bitcointalk forum we will be promoting NEM too without any effort. It will only be effective if most of us start doing it , so please help NEM help yourself.

Thing is, he's not even answering that question. Although i do agree with everything that you say.

But yes, certainly i'd much rather see us move on from this and pay him as little mind as possible. If he has valid contributions, i'd be all ears, otherwise he can continue his campaign of negativity without any further acknowledgement from me.
