Nxt NEM
There's an important discussion on the NEM forum that you don't want to miss. It has to do with the upcoming launch of Catapult and how to best handle a switch to an entirely new network. Will NEM fork? Now is the time to share your opinion and potentially influence the future of NEM.

https://forum.nem.io/t/upgrading-nis1-i-e-current-public-chain-to-nis2-catapult-version/10318

Everyone should get their arse on that thread. And their opinion too. I can't believe the initial proposition is serious.

OK! A little bumping never hurt anyone Smiley

sink account?! wtf?
Do a snapshot.

my two cents

Agree ...
From the usability point it is not fair to request the users to send their XEMs to some sink.
There is too many "breaking points": when? what about vacations or being offline or ... ?

From the tech point it would be odd that snapshot would not be possible.

Or is it possible to have NEM and CEM (Catapult Economy Movement) ?
Like BTC and BCH. (Edit: maybe not a good comparison, because CEM is of course better than BCH Smiley )

is there any advantage keeping NEM's into a wallet now ?..Because I have kept all coins in exchange.I heard about we will be receving free coins because NEM had a patnership with TIME. Please provide us the process how to get them  ?
The exact process of getting TIME isn't released yet. That being said, as a general rule in crypto, you always want to hold on to your private keys, i.e. not store your coins on an exchange. This is mostly for security purposes - the exchange could go bust anytime or lock your account or any of the other horror stories you regularly hear.

What is the attraction of using any other wallet system? I don't get it. Get a good computer, run the NEM web service, back up the wallet, encrypt it, put into an email or save it onto 2 USB keys and hide away under the floor boards.

Question: How many coins would an average investment of 100,000 NEM produce in a month? Is there a formula we can apply or is it completely up to the wind? Thanks
Well, your computer is still exposed to the internet, and something as simple as a keylogger/screenscraper malware can render your efforts worthless. Hardware wallets are really easy to use and user-friendly while maintaining security. They are secure even if your computer is infected, which is really nice. It's fine to pay a small amount for that peace of mind - don't hate on the hardware wallets man Smiley

Guys, need help! I tried to withdraw my NEM coins from Yobit but after submitting it's wrote "Invalid Memo/Message". Should I fill the window Message? If yes what I've got to write there? Thanx in advance.
I solved the problem with such technique: sold at Yobit NEM to BTC, bought LTC, send'em to my LTC wallet, then send my LTC to Bittrex, bought there BTC again, then changed them to NEM and then send'em to my Nano Wallet.  Wink

Wind. There's a good chance you may get nothing. Treat it as a possible bonus and nothing but. Maybe in a couple of years it'll be a handy little revenue stream. Not yet.

Guys, why the -55% drop on yobit?

Because NEM was trading there for $1.25 +. Now its back to par with other exchanges

I would recommend not to trade at yobit either way

Yobit seems to have a bad reputation. I don't have any experience with that platform.

why the people using yobit  for trading NEM? there are another better exchange available. People create problem them-self

For your future trades, I highly recommend you not to use yobit if there are other exchanges to do your business on (as there are for NEM). Yobit is shady and many people are complaining that they lost their money there with stuck withdrawals and deposits that were not credited. I would stay miles away from this exchange (as from every other small centralized one to be honest).

You only need a message sending to yobit, not from. Coins shouldn't be lost. Although yobit's nem wallet might be down for maintenance and it could take a while to get the nem.
