If you hadn't changed your password since 2015, it was likely compromised in a data breach that happened in that year.
He was just b.s.-ing everybody... Google didn't help him. He just said that to "help his case" on the forum. But the fact that he can no longer really speak English and became a shitposter is enough to assume its a hacked account.
Email or wallet? I had in the signature NXT and NEM mentioned, but now cannot remember were the addresses also in the sig.
I left 1.1 XEM to the original wallet, but I might still have that wallet's pw... had to test that.
If you can find a post with a NXT or NEM address in it, and then sign a message from that address, that would probably work.

I should add that NEM could find new fame for "historical" mosaics or assets. In this modern era of NFTs, old assets of any kind of significance and scarcity are finding new value by collectors.
For instance, if there are mosaics issued of limited quantity that point to an image file, they could be re-branded as NFTs.
I know it might sound silly, but there is serious money being thrown around at such things. An example can be found in NXTdrop. The original creator didn't go about its relaunch in the best of ways as they unilaterally decided that 30 or so tokens on OpenSea now represent everybody's holdings, and they aren't bridged to the NXT tokens in any way.
But having some kind of asset bridge for ETH-NEM would expose "historically significant" NEM mosaics to OpenSea money.
in this way?

Clearly there has been some evolving in this site
and it is seen by requiring more (talents) from the users:
"sign messages", combine consecutive posts to one, which may require more work when someone is answering to more than 1 post
