What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger
@crackfoo Dear sir,

Since you know the way your pool is reporting estimates better than anyone, would you suggest us to use Nemos' "plus" feature or just use your pool's current estimates?

I've noticed that the "plus" feature is often mining algos that are not very populated with miners and this makes it very likely to go hours without getting any rewards.
The current estimate on the other hand keeps changing miners every 5-10 minutes, losing a lot of time in betweens. I'm using a wait time of 3 minutes and a required difference in earnings of 15% before a miner can be changed, so it's not my settings.

Hi All. I've just come across nemo's today and thought I'd give it a go!!. I've done the standard config in the batchfile and selected almost every pool and option available. haha hit the start button and let it rip. what I'd like to know and I've been trying to find in the 200 odd pages, what settings do others suggest, pools/options etc. I'm not new to mining but have always been using ccminer and selection my own single coin to mine via calculator, time to automate a bit further, I'm getting lazy. BTW loving the layout of Nemo's so Props to the devs!
Also a real quick (possibly stupid) question but how frequent are the btc payouts, i couldn't find this info either?

I ran into 1 error when it switched to ethhash but i swapped the username back to the default nemo and all is well.

Hope people don't mind a little plug for our software UberMiner Smiley. It has similar functionality to NemosMiner but it is greatly simplified in order to be used easily without compromising profits of course. Take a look here: http://www.uberminer.org/

Comments suggestions are welcome. Use the contact button in our website.

Are you actually advertising your software in someone else's thread? New low.

Slightly offtopic, but NemosMiner is actually revealed this to me:

BlockMasters.co is probably artificially increasing their 'current estimate'

Where i can decrease default benchmark time from 300 for example to 120?

1. Inside folder "Config", open file config.json using any text editor.
2. Replace the number after "StatsInterval" with the time you want.

Cheers.

What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger
Quick question,

I have been running 5 cards, and today added a sixth.  I reset benchmarks and am in the process of re-running them.  The issue is in the miner windows its only using 5 cards.  I see in the main window its using the command -d 0,1,2,3,4 (so only 5 cards).  Is this normal?  I used the detect GPUs and it pulls all six cards.  Its showing 6 active but only 5 are being used in the miner window.

Any ideas?

FWIW these are my usual troubleshooting steps:

1. Quit Nemos
2. Delete the miners folder
3. Restart the machine
4. Run Nemos
5. Detect cards
6. Save config
7. Start mining

It's a bit of a hassle but that should definitely get it going.

I've noticed that if I change the GPU count. I must click "save config" exit out of nemosminer and re-open for it to fully update and use the new GPU count.

You could also change the "config" file inside the "config" folder. Scroll down in this file and you'll see something like "0,1,2,3,4" etc. If you need any strange combination of cards like "3,4,5" then your only option at the moment is to go edit this config file. Oh and you need to change both the entries (the comma separated and the space separated), they are next to each other in the same file.

those are benchmarks run side by side during the same period with the exact same benchmarked cards?

No it is not. I didn't really see much need for it.

That being said... when I swapped MY setup after I did my friends... it took me about a week to get it all done as I have 80+ machines and I took my time.

Well before I got halfway the Blaze portion was beating the Zergpool portion of my setup. It's really definitive enough for me.

I've also got a solid year under my belt going between Zpool, Ahash, Hash Refinery, and Zerg.

Have never seen such a jump swapping pools when averaged over long periods such as 2+ weeks (obviously a single day could be a fluke).

If you notice on blaze with current mining you change algos and still hop back to x16r on a regular basis.  Blaze is small so it's very rare you are going to miss any blocks so you will still get a good earning on it.

If you use current on zerg which has a pretty large hashrate for rvn you are going to miss entire blocks fairly often, even lucky runs where you can miss 5 blocks in 15 mins while your miner jumped to phi for a 10 min spike and even then much less profit.  Obviously if you cut your algo's down to a top 3 or something it will help but still I prefer plus on the bigger pools.

If you use plus you will miss a lot of the small spikes but still jump to the big ones like the once a week pgn goldrush.

Sum it up I like plus for zpool and zerg and current for blaze.  I haven't done any scientific tests of yet but this is my current opinion.

If you are on PLUS on Zerg you are losing piles of money vs. Blaze on current estimate.

I make at least 33% more on Blaze with current than Zerg on PLUS...

I was on ZERG for about 5 weeks... on Blaze now for 2 weeks.

ZERG was usually 0.024 BTC / Day with very litte variation -- my Blaze average for two weeks is 0.0343 BTC / Day which is over 40% gain.

I have a huge variety of cards... 1050Ti, 1060, 1070, 1070Ti, 1080, and 1080Ti -- some of all of them. With 1060 and 1070Ti being the heaviest.

-----

I also tested on a friends setup with all 1080Ti cards... I wrote his down day to day for long periods on ZERG so I have more exact data.

Taking the most recent slice of data of 16 days on ZERG / PLUS average was 0.0145 BTC/Day (I also have a small slice of data for ZPOOL on PLUS for 4 days -- it was 0.0148 BTC/Day).

Taking 18 days since I swapped him to Blaze / Current the average is 0.0194 BTC/Day.

That is 33% gain for him.

-----

We both run these algos:

HMQ1725,lyra2z,blake2s,C11,keccak,x16s,Lyra2RE2,neoscrypt,Nist5,phi,skein,skunk,tribus,x16r,x17,xevan

Using a 120-second interval on current estimate.
