Thanks for the hard work Nemo.

I've found that A08/Blakecoin is faster with Miner A/Alexis78 on my 1080ti.

7.2 with Tanguy, 8.3 with Alexis78.

Another tweak for you when you want Smiley

yeh i thought it might i will in next upadate..

thankyou Walrusbonzo for your help with the 1080ti .bat

Is anyone having the pool actually consistently pick the most profitable coins to mine? I let NemosMiner 1.7.6 run for an hour or so, and it never picked the most profitable algo, despite switching every 5 mins or so. Some of the algos picked were 3-5x less profitable, so something is wrong with the algo-switching logic (I also don't believe profitability can possibly switch that quickly.)

I dont think this is a NemosMiner problem, but curious if anyone else sees it.

Back to single algo mining for me.

also in 1.7.6 i have 20 algos enabled.. if you want less switching and you already know what algos you want to mine... just disable them all and only leave the top 3-5 algos you think are profitable then it wont switch nearly as much.. its just a base .bat file you can change it to suit your self...

or try 1.7.3  alot less switching.... mostly mines zcash.....

Question, how exactly does the nemo miner look at the pools to pull which one is profitable, i guess what im asking is which portion of the file/miner is this coming from.. just trying to understand things more.. i know it pulls the data from the pool api, just dont understand how it does this..

the pool selects algo not the miner... the miner just connects and mines until the pool decides theres something more profitable to switch to....

ok, so how does the pass profitability numbers become communicated with the pool to determine which one is most profitable.... that is the part im curious about.. does it like send the entire list to them and the pool does the selection on their end?

I started running two .bat files on the same rig this morning. So far it seems to be working fine.

I have a Zpool.bat file running on my 1st 1080 Ti and a MPH.bat file running on my 2nd 1080 Ti.

I'm trying this out so that I can compare the returns between Zpool and MPH. I'll report the results in a day or two.

wait at least a week then start giving us results.. once a week totals.. im interested to.. do it for the next month or 2 i might do the same.. now i can, put half my rig on zpool and other half on MPH..

The reason im asking is because im curious if there is a way to combine the MPH and Zpool miners together, so it selects the most profitable from the 2 pools combined... ive been playing with awesome miner and this feature is available in that miner, with it comparing profits of coins on multiple pools and switches pools if the algo is within the list available to compare it to on whattomine.... only sucky part is most of the profitable coins i been mining lately with your miner is not listed on whattomine, so they are not available for profit switching on that miner, thus id like to add this feature to yours if it is possible.. yours is my default miner right now..

I actually ran both on same computer zpool on gpu0 and MHP on gpu1 for 5 days, it was kinda a wash in the end, because when the coins that BOTH pools have available to be mined were most profitable MHP netted more earnings at the end of the day, but the periods when coins like blake2s was most profitable the zpool would pull ahead by a large margin and catch back up.. so each day it swung back and forth between the 2 pools, but after 5 days the earning totals were within $3.00 of each other...

Basically if the profitable coin is available on zpool and not on MPH zpool is way more profitable, if not MPH is the ruler with all mined coins equal..

Huge thanks for this ! I've been wishing to see the ability to select GPU's and am really excited to see you've added this to the Zpool version!!!

In that spirit, I attempted to update your MPH code to include the GPU selection you added to the Zpool code.

This is what I came up with, let me know if I messed up anywhere:
NemosMiner-v1.7.2-MPH_GPU_SELECT.bat
Code:
@echo off
SETLOCAL EnableExtensions
SET USER=nemo.1050ti
SET PASS=x
SET GPUequihash=0
SET GPUccminer=0
SET A=ethminer.exe
SET B=zminer.exe
SET C=ccminersp-mod
SET D=ccminerAlexis78.exe
SET E=ccminerTanguy.exe
SET POOL=hub.miningpoolhub.com
:start

GOTO start

Edit: also switched to us-east servers, because I'm not in Asia
Edit2: changed "cuda_devices" for "cuda-devices"
Edit3: changed "-G" for "-U"

i didn't get time to finish 1.7.2 i will today just needs the select gpu command.. i have to double check genoils commands i think you have it right.... ill finish it and re upload as MPH 1.7.3
yeh im in NZ so Asia server closest for me you should change it to which ever is closest to you..
