Both coins are good. NEO has good potential. Therefore, I advise you to divide the investment between ETH and NEO.
NEO is backed by the Chinese government. This has become the most important factor for NEO’s popularity in China,NEO can handle 10,000 transactions per second.ethereum is second in value after bitcoin.
ETH is much better. NEO blockchain often can`t handle too many transactions. Ethereum will be living as there are many ICOs which are held on its blockchain.
All fundamental and technical considerations aside, one might expect NEO to have a price action to ETH that being an price increase or upswing accompanying those ICOs or token launches utilising the NEO protocol, or positive news regarding China and their policies toward crypto.
I think it's better to invest in ETH and get a good profit by the end of the year. You can also divide the investment between these coins.
I can say that NEO is good coin for long term investment. Right now we can see some promising ICO made on NEO platform, but still ETH is more widespread platform and some comfortable for many investors.
Whether NEO is a true ETH killer remains to be seen. However, given that its market cap is less than 1/12th that of Ethereum’s, it does have space to grow. NEO is not as community driven as Ethereum, but this means that improvements to the network are developed more quickly, as achieving consensus is more streamlined.
It has already built relationships with major tech firms in China, and if that market ever opens broadly to crypto, then NEO’s ecosystem could expand ten-fold. NEO has not been able to buck the current bear trend in the market, however with projects like the Ontology mainet and the trinity platform launch, there is still optimism for the network’s long term prospects.

I'm not sure that this will happen because perhaps this coin does not have enough opportunities to achieve this goal.
At current moment very few ICO are held on the NEO platform. Herewith, 90% of all projects are created on the basis of ETH. That's why I think that Eth has much more promising prospectives. Despite NEO has a powerful support in China.
NEO this year demonstrates impressive progress, many promising ICO have joined. Therefore, they are for me a priority, although I invest some of the money in ETH.
NEO is an excellent investment option, an ambitious platform with excellent potential, strong developers and a large community, so I consider the project an excellent choice for investment.
Will NEO be next ETH in crypto currency world? What is the main reason for going up NEO drastically?
If you do not want to risk, then I advise you to invest in ETH. For me, ETH is a more reliable coin. 
although the development of NEO is very good, but I am not sure if NEO will replace ETH position. the project initiated by ethereum has gone well and is used by the token in conducting ICO
NEO and ETH is a very good coin to be a long-term investment but if I have to choose then I will choose ETH because I think ETH has more developments whereas NEO may still take a lot of time to develop like ETH

I think for now neo has not been able to surpass ethereum, whether for the next few years, until now ethereum is the strongest altcoint, but neo also has potential for the future, both are good altcoint
Obviously for ETH since NEO is far away to price but when it comes to stability i'll go for NEO. But in some ways ETH are way too far because it's still on the move when it comes to platform development. Well it also goes for NEO but for me Vitalik is a very large factor to consider, if this guy will be leaving ETH behind i guess this is another story. Well we know this industry, when it comes to being very unpredictable crypto is on the list of it.
Both these coins has bright future but as of now Ethereum is the second best coin after bitcoin in the cryptocurrency.Most of the investors invest in Ethereum.so as of now Ethereum is leading and it has the first mover advantage
For future my prediction is that NEO and ETH will be similiar like USD and EURO. So both will be dominance over cryptoworld. Meantime there will be others like XLM

Among all the crypto-currencies, the main reason for the rise and fall is competition. It is possible that the Neo purse can compete with the ETH, because of the cheapness of use, I think companies will quietly switch to the Chinese market, but 200-300 $ is hard cap Neo.Jump to:
