Honestly there is a good chance you could get your money back by contacting his parents.

This boy is a teen, he most likely lives with his parents. Inform them what happend, they ask him, he admits and there is a good chance they are going to pay.

Of course then comes step two. Who is going to accept the moniez? Maybe an escrow? Johnk?

And, who owns which shares?

JMHO

wow hold your horses... you already looking for an escrow, dont think it will go that easy.

lets wait and see if he contacts me, this way he is given a change to resolve it.

Also what did you send him specifically?

I've my passport ready to go.  No one here on the forums will do anything.  I  will.  I'm just asking for help to cover costs for my trip to meet and greet him.  I'm not even a miner but a LTC scammer has to get his day of reckoning.

What you get for my involvement.  Something actually done about it, i.e. results.  I don't bullshit.  I'll tape everything from the getting of the tickets, the flight, and the meeting.  I'll post it all in real time as it happens.

where are you traveling from?

us.  I've many friends in Europe that will keep lodging costs minimum.  It's mainly the flight ticket and food.

What's the point? If you go over there and beat him up you'll just get in a lot of trouble with the law. If you go over there and shout at him, will it really make a difference?

The correct approach is for the affected parties who care enough to form a class action suit against him and take him to court. Ideally, people living in his own country.

Alternatively, if you guys can ascertain beyond all doubt that he is the guy and he is guilty of stealing funds, then create a website with all of his personal information, pictures and what he did on it and publicize it heavily so it goes to the top of google search results. Therefore whenever a future employer/girlfriend/etc googles his name or email address they will know what a thief he is. Not sure of the legality of that though so I wouldn't recommend it.

^this

Unfortunately cryptocurrency is fairly new and there really aren't that many laws regulating it.

You could beat him up sure, but all that will get you is a fine.

Well, there is no nick in whois output. he might have changed whois info before leaving with LTCs.

There is a nick in whois output - his email address.

And to prove that he's had this same registration information from the start, I got historical whois from last year. As you can see, exactly the same info.

That were my intention - prove it's definitely him.
Now we have enough evidencies, I guess

But yeah, I'm pretty sure that's him.

Here's how it went down.

Initially he had good intentions, so he registered domain with his nick (which is all over the 'net and been used for years) and also registered here with his nick.

At some point maintaining the pool proved to be too much work, the payout system broke, so instead of fixing it or at least stopping operations and refunding people, he abandoned it and decided to not give a fuck (who would bother to track him down anyway?).

Well, there is no nick in whois output. he might have changed whois info before leaving with LTCs.
Also, there is "privacy protect" stuff available for domains.
You have to be completely idiot not to turn it on if you're about to scam someone.

So my best guess it wasn't turned on by reason

Best way is to message him on FB and casually mention notroll

If he responds back like, "How the fuck did you know?" then its him.

Someone should make a We hate the scammer Nick Degrade facebook group lol

invite him

He probably barely scrounged up enough to host notroll.  Privacy protect usually costs extra.
