But yeah, I'm pretty sure that's him.

Here's how it went down.

Initially he had good intentions, so he registered domain with his nick (which is all over the 'net and been used for years) and also registered here with his nick.

At some point maintaining the pool proved to be too much work, the payout system broke, so instead of fixing it or at least stopping operations and refunding people, he abandoned it and decided to not give a fuck (who would bother to track him down anyway?).

Well, there is no nick in whois output. he might have changed whois info before leaving with LTCs.
Also, there is "privacy protect" stuff available for domains.
You have to be completely idiot not to turn it on if you're about to scam someone.

So my best guess it wasn't turned on by reason

Best way is to message him on FB and casually mention notroll

If he responds back like, "How the fuck did you know?" then its him.

good idea! but I'm not on FB  Grin

lol no one here is gonna do anything.

Like I said, just having his name and face posted here for eternity is already pretty good. Some day it's going to make his life difficult.

According to the whois information I can't find a city named smude.

It's a city in Belgium. Typing the address in Google Maps found the location, and there's a Google Maps link in my original post.

Kerkstraat 58, Smude, Belgium, Europe

Now, whether it's real address or not, is up for discussion, but who cares - nobody is visiting his house anyway. It's just a piece of info.

Guys, beware. it may be not him. since it's possible to register domain on a fake person thus driving "justice" to wrong person.
Anyone just a little bit educated in IT would never leave such a THICK trail in whois data!

I'm not trying to cover a scamer - we just need to be 100% sure he is real notroll

I CAN WRITE IN BIG ANGRY RED LETTERS TOO

Nice.  So uh now what.

Well, for one, anyone who Googles his name should find this thread and his scammy face right here. It's not going anywhere. He's now officially documented on the internet.

And if anyone in Belgium decides to dig deeper, reach out to the guy and maybe ask him to return the LTC and offer an apology, then we can maybe have a closure here.

Someone call his mom and tell him he's been a bad boy.

Hopefully she'll give him a good spanking.
