It is absurd because BTC is the pioneer in cryptocurrency market so it is impossible to overtake BTC that is the base of market.
I don't believe what most of them say because it's probably just all hype and nothing else, but I do believe in one now.. It's not really the kind of coin that die hard crypto fans would like since it is centralized and manipulated by 'banksters'.
Bitcoin is already established compared to the new altcoins that are sprouting. We cannot say that a new altcoin can beat Bitcoin because it all depend on the situation
That maybe part of their campaign to promote their ico and to attracts investors. When you are entering a competitive market like cryptocurrency you must have some effective, eyecatching campaign ads and posts to make it successful. Only time can tell when will the bitcoin finally overtaken by another virtual currency.
I don’t believe that Bitcoin can be beaten by any altcoin that exist nowadays. Bitcoin is still strong and influential. People keep to hold it and I am sure that the price should go up with the time.
Yes, I think it's just a news story that is not true. Because to date, there is still no Altcoin which is able to match the selling value of Bitcoin. And it's still very much if Altcoin wants to beat the Bitcoin. This coin is very special because it has a very fast growth and is able to affect the price of Altcoin.
I think anyone can say that any new altcoin can beat bitcoin. Maybe there were good points in some certain coins that bitcoin dont have, but still they are new to the cryptoworld, and some features must be tried and proven first and be stable in the market like Bitcoin.

Lol never heard of it. It's not hard to make an alt that's technically better than Bitcoin, it's hard to make it popular though.
It could be true, but I think it has to make a name, defeat not only bitcoin but the rest of all altcoins as well. This the most difficult part. Given something is new, many would have doubts on it unless it will be able to prove that it is somehow capable of such feat. Given that it is not only bitcoin to surpass but everyone, it would be a mountain to hurdle each.
