Yeah i really think some new rank should be added.
So it would be safe to say you hate the hackforum rank naming system as that would be misleading of their membership classes too. 
I'm not familiar with that particular naming system and my search engine ...You ... have your own search engine!! Wow

I'm not familiar with that particular naming system and my search engine has provided me with inadequate results in the amount of time that I've spent researching.Or is saying that name of that particular forum a bad word? 
I'm saying the system isn't optimal at all, in addition to those type of names making it worse. It makes it seem like those members are "trusted" or have "knowledge" regarding Bitcoin, when we know that time spent on the forum is not the causation for that. 
You're right, there's a whole generation of users that will become Legendary, and this rank will get what Sr. Member is nowadays, cool but not so much awesome.

I'm sure as time goes on more ranks will be added but I don't think they're needed just yet. There's not that many legendaries at the moment but that will change within a year or so.
Yeah, provably they will. You cant just stuck on that ranking because every added activities for everytime you post will be in vain. I would like to see this in the future. Its very hard to rank this days. I think it will be more challenging for us to achieve that kind of rank.

Maybe there should not be a new rank but some bonus system where you could for example buy some user title or something simillar ?
If you donate funds to the forum , you can get custom VIP title of your own desire. Price ? A tiny price of 50 btc ...
The idea behind donations is good, but the amounts are way beyond real. They should be lowered atleast by factor of 10.

Instead of new ranks, we can better double the amount of time needed to move from rank level to rank level.
So for example, to become a full member you have to wait like 9 activity periods of each 2 weeks.
If you double that to 18 activity periods of each 2 weeks, then account farming will be less interesting as it takes much more time, and it also takes you much longer before you reach a certain member level.

That would just furthermore increase sales of forum accounts , which are one of the worst evils present here.
The ONLY way to deal with majority of issues would simply be to remove signatures alltogeather, then no one would complain about membership, or account farming.

I don't think we need a new rank on our forum, but rather that we should only edit currently existing ones.
The thing i would add to current ranking is "numbers of experience" in form of stars attached next to profile..
You very often see people creating account and trust farming it to oblivion, making people think how that person is highly trusted ,
when in fact the person is just like one year present on the forum or something..

It's interesting, but why? Legendary seems aged = good.
This is exactly what I was thinking of. A lot of people will start suggesting random names for ranks that aren't really good.

Exactly what would be the difference between a badge and an achievement? Both could work, but you'd need space for the badges to be viewed and a whole page for achievements. • Jr. Legendary.

• Hero Legendary.

I would like a badge for achievements here, like Spammer Exterminator. It would be nice to have some sort of recognition to those who correctly report lots of posts violating forum rules.
There already is one. It's called Staff .

I like the badge idea, you could have good or bad achievements:
Troll badge for excessive trolling
Spam badge for spamming a certain number of posts over a given length of time
Caution badge for noob accounts requesting loans
Report badge for reaching a specific number of accurate reports (Grand_Voyageur's idea)

If scammer tags were removed then these features aren't going to be added. Who is going to want to take the time to investigate and dish out badges for trolling or spamming? Imagine the crying in Meta when people are branded with such a tag as well? If they're breaking the rules in whatever way then they should just be dealt with in the existing ways of negative feedback or bans etc.
