with satoshi's (imaginary) face on it!

You mean, a face like this?

 Smiley

Nah, i dont think satoshi is a 13 year old guy, or not even similar looking.

I think Dorian Nakamoto's face is probably very similar to satoshi's face. He is probably in his 50's and probably a very high IQ guy, working in IT and probably has glasses and grey hair like that guy.

It should be named "Disciple of Satoshi" , and he/she should receive a medal with satoshi's (imaginary) face on it!

I think there should also be a rank in-between full member and senior member as well as between senior member and legend.

There is no need of rank between Full Member and Senior Member and there is already a rank between Senior Member and Legendary known as Hero Member.

That would be awesome to have another rank and also may be one more lower then Legendary too?
The idea behind having more ranks will surely be good , also making another section for Legendary members is nice too, hopefully i will be able to get in it soon too if it comes Cheesy .
My idea is that instead of adding new ranks, there can be badges depending on the date you signed up... So if you signed up in 2011, when the forum began (I believe), You could get a badge that says "Pioneer".  If you signed up in 2012, you could get a badge that said "Early adopter", and so on.

I don't get the randomness of ranks, how one person can have to have been around for a year longer than another to get the same rank.

If you're talking about Legendary rank then I agree, it makes no sense.

Well it's based on how active you have been during the two-week periods. If you miss posting at least once in a period you lose the activity points forever. It makes sense rather than someone creating an account years ago and forgetting about it then reappearing and looking like he's an active 'long-time' member.

I had suggested changing the activity requirements to powers of 2. That would make it more consistent with 'bit'.

A scaling may also be added, to restrict signature displaying capacity. It would go some way in beating the extra posting we see today.

I think there should be a new forum section for legendary members.  We have one for donators, but there are so few donators left on this site that the section is mostly dead.  Perhaps allowing legendary (or higher) ranks to be able to have their own section might allow some of us old timers to relive the glory days here.

I don't disagree with it and could be persuaded either way but if it's something many other older/Legendary members wanted then maybe, but like the Donator section I don't think it'd be that active but maybe you could put it to a vote or something.

I like the way the system works now. I don't think we really need to change the class order. However, the appearance of the member type could do with a new design.

The current highest rank here is Legendary with 775-1030 activity points to achieve. Perhaps we can have a higher rank at like 1300-1400 points? Like 'History Maker' or 'Part of Bitcoin History' etc.?
It's just a suggestion. You can take or not take it.
lol...there is already a higher rank...after legendry rank you will get staff rank

But, isn't the Staff rank given to people who, you know, is staff?
yes i have seen many users with staff rank, donatorrank, vip rank, founder rank,co-founder rank....i mean to say that after legendry rank ..if you want ferther ranks then you have to spend money for that

I don't think there's any co-founder rank...

P.S.
