Hey there!

You may get Pulse by mining or trading it on C-CEX for the following markets; USD, BTC, LTC, Doge

Thank you!

How many coins will be available for this in total?

Hi!

There is no hard cap on Pulse.

I am assuming the dev is mining to get coins like everyone else.

Don't even waste your time or energy mining this ATM.  Block reward is garbage!!!!!

By pulse. You are dead to me

Friends got the jump on this one

Hence my question to the dev earlier if the rewards are directly or indirectly related to the difficulty. The dev answered that the rewards go down as difficulty goes up meaning it is indirectly related. At high difficulty the rewards are low and it is very expensive to maintain the hash rate at a high difficulty. Unless there is a strong market with high prices, there is no incentive for a miner to expend the energy for the mining. It might have been better to let the rewards become more as difficulty goes up so that there is an incentive to maintain a high difficulty. Pulse seem to reward behavior that reduce hash rate whereas fundamentally a crypto coin needs high hash rate to improve its security.
I would say that would be directly related. The rewards are the same as PPC and similar clones, they half with every 16x of difficulty increase. They also go back up if the difficulty decreases. The dev didnt tell you the exact details because perhaps they are unsure of the exact mechanism. Hope that helps.

Yes agreed.

I left my miner going overnight only to wake up with a hole lot of nothing.

What a uber waste of time, energy and money. This is worthless to me. You are correct. Zero incentive to even have any miners hashing this.
Total fail coin?

I checked about 3 hours after launch and it was already 11.5m coins distributed to the first few guys that happened to be online at the delayed launch time. It is not much more now. The coins future will have to be POS only because no-one will mine at the the current POW rates.

rpcport=29996
port=29997
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
addnode=coin-server.com
addnode=92.9.146.160:54500
addnode=46.236.161.66:10844
