Patiently waiting for level 2 STATIC nodes, was there any time frame given for the registration of them? Or re-registration of level 1 nodes?

Correct. Its amazing what a strong community can do to a coin like XBY or any coin for that matter.
Bitcoin is a good example of how far a community coin can go. There is basicly no limit.

The telegram channel is a great addition, it seems very active and lots of people who aren't part of the slack channel have joined so great to see new faces interested in Xtrabytes.

My apologies for the very late post where I made a typo. There are 448 Level 1 STATIC nodes registered. I mistakenly put 498 with the last post I made and that caused a bit of confusion.
However, this allows me to point everyone to a dynamic website that shows how many STATICS are registered at any given time. You can find this page on the ANN in the IMPORTANT WEBSITES section: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.18538512
